Gentle and radiant history graduate student vs. Cool, charming, and de...
"I'm a little tired, and I feel like my life right now is meaningless."
"If you don't want to be an actor, what do you want to do?"
Jiang Yiyu was silent for a while and thought: "Yeah, what do I want to do? What do you want me to do?"
"I don't know." Song Shengsheng gently held Jiang Yiyu's hand on the quilt: "But no matter what you want to do, I hope to see you continue to shine and be happy."
"I will be happy if you are here with me."
"Yes, I will. My big star, you should go to bed. Don't think too much and relax."
Jiang Yiyu held her hand back, turned over and leaned towards her, gently holding her in his arms: "You said that you don't need to tell me in advance next time you hug me, so I'm hugging you without your permission now, okay?"
Song Shengsheng smiled and said, "Of course you can, but could you lie down a little further? I'm about to fall."
"Okay." Jiang Yiyu also laughed with her, hugged her and moved to the side of the bed.
Song Shengsheng lay in his arms, smiling and closing her eyes. Jiang Yiyu rested his chin on the top of her head and held her arms tightly, as if he was afraid that if he relaxed his strength, his arms would become empty when he woke up. All his dreams would be shattered, and he would return to the days when he was alone.
Smelling the sweet fragrance of Song Shengsheng's hair, Jiang Yiyu closed his eyes and gradually felt sleepy.
…
The next morning, Song Shengsheng heard the alarm clock ringing. She opened her eyes and wanted to turn around to get her cell phone, but she was held in Jiang Yiyu's arms and could not turn over.
The ringing of the cell phone became louder and louder. She was afraid that Jiang Yiyu would be woken up, so she could only gently grab his arm around her waist and try to pull herself out of his arms.
Jiang Yiyu was a light sleeper. He woke up as soon as the alarm clock rang, but he didn't want to move or let go of Song Shengsheng. Seeing that Song Shengsheng was about to leave his arms, he sighed irritably, tightened his arms, and hugged her back: "Don't go, sleep a little longer."
Song Shengsheng raised her hand and touched his head: "But the alarm clock rang."
"If it rings for a while and no one pays attention to it, it will shut up."
Song Shengsheng chuckled softly: "Did you sleep like a fool? If you ignore it now, it will ring again in fifteen minutes."
Jiang Yiyu held her hand that was covering his cheek, placed it on his lips and kissed it, then stuffed it back into the quilt without saying anything, saying with a bit of coquettishness: "Then you can stay in bed for another fifteen minutes."
Song Shengsheng listened to the phone ringing for five minutes, and the bedroom finally became quiet.
She tried hard to stick her head out of Jiang Yiyu's arms, looked up at his peaceful sleeping face, and couldn't help but kiss his chin secretly.
Jiang Yiyu suddenly snorted and laughed twice: "Be good, I'm warning you, don't provoke me so early in the morning."
"Um?"
"I've tried my best to proceed step by step with you. Please cooperate with me."
"oh."
Song Shengsheng lowered her head. She listened to Jiang Yiyu's steady heartbeat, felt the rise and fall of his chest with his breathing, and lay quietly with him for a while.
Until the alarm clock rang again, Jiang Yiyu finally sighed reluctantly and let go.
Song Shengsheng left his arms, sat up and went to turn off her phone. Jiang Yiyu buried his face in his arms, and with his other hand he groped for the corner of her clothes and said, "Dear, I have something to do this afternoon and can't pick you up."
"Well, you're busy, I'll just come back by myself."
"Why don't you ask me what's the matter?"
Song Shengsheng put down the phone and turned to look at him: "If you want to say it, you will tell me, right?"
Jiang Yiyu tilted his head and showed one eye from his arms. He glanced at her and sighed irritably: "Dear, please care about me a little more."
"Ah? Not asking you what you're doing means I don't care about you? Is love so complicated now? Or do you like being controlled by me, Brother Yi Yu?"
Jiang Yiyu's sigh became even more muffled. Song Shengsheng looked at the corner of his clothes that he had clenched tightly, smiled, and reached out to rub the top of his head: "Then tell me, what are you going to do today?"
Jiang Yiyu didn't say anything.
Song Shengsheng said, "Are you sulking now? How long will this last?"
After a while, Jiang Yiyu moved his face out of his arms. He frowned and looked at Song Shengsheng: "Coax me."
Song Shengsheng smiled and lay back down beside him. She leaned over and kissed the corner of his lips, then looked at him and blinked: "To comfort you."
Jiang Yiyu raised the corner of his mouth and kissed her forehead: "This is a return gift."
"Okay, now can you tell me where you are going this afternoon?"
"Your brother asked me to go out, saying that if I didn't go, he would take my wife away."
"ah?"
"Well, that's what he said."
Song hissed, “You don’t have to listen to him, because I don’t listen to him either.”
Jiang Yiyu gently lifted a strand of Song Shengsheng's long hair: "What should I do? I'm timid and don't dare."
"So, you want me to go with you?"
Jiang Yiyu shook his head. "Maybe you could pick me up earlier so I can get away and go home earlier, and spend more time with you before I get on the plane tomorrow."
"Okay, then you go this afternoon. When you don't want to stay anymore, send me a message and I'll pick you up."
"It's a deal, dear, don't forget it." Jiang Yiyu raised his pinky finger to Song Shengsheng: "Pink."
Song Shengsheng raised her hand and gently hooked his fingers: "Childish."
…
Like yesterday, Song Shengsheng washed up, packed up and went out.
