Gentle and radiant history graduate student vs. Cool, charming, and de...
Song Shengsheng had also thought about why he liked Jiang Yiyu.
The first two years when she knew Jiang Yiyu were when his reputation was at its worst.
At that time, the entire Shengyang Private Middle School knew that there was a school bully named Jiang Yiyu in the high school department. Although he was handsome and came from a wealthy family, he was extremely rebellious.
He smokes and drinks, fights without hesitation, skips classes and talks back to his teachers. He is like a hedgehog, and no one knows when he will raise his sharp spines to prick people. Anyway, he will do anything that the school and his parents forbid him to do, and no one dares to mess with him.
Even when the school called his parents in, he always acted indifferent, because nine out of ten times, the person who came to the school to clean up the mess was his father's secretary, a man who always handled official business impartially and only acted as a tool to donate money and materials to the school and calm down the situation on behalf of Jiang Yiyu's father, the chairman of the Jiang Group.
He didn't care why Jiang Yiyu didn't study well or why he did those outrageous things. He only cared about what kind of trouble Jiang Yiyu would get into next and what kind of workload would be added to him.
Every time the secretary came to school, when Song Shengsheng and Song Ming saw Jiang Yiyu again the next day, he would always have a bruised face and nose. Song Shengsheng and Song Ming both knew that this must have been a beating by Jiang Yiyu's father, but Jiang Yiyu was unwilling to say, so they tacitly agreed not to ask and just got along with him as usual.
It is precisely because of this that Song Ming is one of Jiang Yiyu's few true friends, and Song Shengsheng, as his friend's sister, always receives Jiang Yiyu's care.
Song Shengsheng still remembers the Friday before winter break when she was in the second year of junior high school. Song Ming did not go to school because he sprained his ankle while playing basketball the day before. Coincidentally, the family driver also took a leave of absence that day.
Song Shengsheng's mother Wang Jing was worried about Song Shengsheng going home alone, so she asked Song Ming to ask Jiang Yiyu to take her back, and by the way, she could stay at home for dinner and spend the weekend.
That day, there was heavy snow in the capital. Snowflakes were flying all day long, and everything was white.
As the end of the semester approached, the grade organized several mock exams. In the last class in the afternoon, the math teacher reviewed the test papers and stayed in class for forty minutes.
Song Shengsheng sat by the window in the classroom, staring out the window in a daze. She was worried that Jiang Yiyu would get impatient waiting for her.
Finally, the teacher finished explaining the last question and assigned homework. The head teacher came into the classroom and said a few simple words. When it was getting dark and the snow outside the window was getting lighter, Song Shengsheng hurried out of the classroom with her schoolbag on her back. She ran downstairs without even having time to tie her scarf.
When passing by the high school teaching building, she glanced up at the brightly lit upper floor, thinking that since Song Ming was not there, Jiang Yiyu would definitely be too lazy to attend any self-study classes, so she continued to run towards the school gate as agreed.
The cold wind mixed with snowflakes kept blowing into her nostrils, and her breath while running made her eyelashes covered with a layer of white frost.
She finally ran to the school gate, but she couldn't find Jiang Yiyu after looking around. Just as Song Shengsheng was about to go back to the school to find him in the high school department, she heard someone calling her from across the street.
When she turned around, she saw a tall, thin young man with a buzz cut, wearing a black leather down jacket. He put one hand in his pocket and raised the other lazily to wave at her. His face was expressionless, as if he had no interest in anything at all, looking extremely arrogant.
Song Shengsheng breathed a sigh of relief. She tugged at the backpack strap that was about to slip off her shoulder, reached out to wipe the wet frost off her eyelashes, and hurried across the road when the green light came on.
Jiang Yiyu looked at her somewhat embarrassed appearance, clicked his tongue, pointed at the eaves of a shop not far away, then turned and walked towards that place.
Song Shengsheng hurried to catch up with him. After finally stopping, she didn't even have time to catch her breath when she heard Jiang Yiyu say, "Put on your clothes and tie your scarf. Otherwise, if you catch a cold, your brother will come after me."
"Oh." Song Shengsheng hurriedly began to tie her scarf. "The teacher stayed late today. Brother Yiyu, I'm sorry to have kept you waiting."
Jiang Yiyu looked at Song Shengsheng's clumsy way of tying the scarf and slowly frowned: "It's okay, the snow scene is beautiful." He clenched his hands in his pockets and took a long time to suppress the urge to help her.
A dark blue wool scarf covered half of Song Shengsheng's face, which was red from the cold. She raised her chin, stretched her neck, and revealed her nose from the scarf: "I'm fine, let's go home."
Jiang Yi Yu said nothing, just followed behind her, walking slowly in the snow with one foot deep and one foot shallow. He looked at the little girl's ears that were frozen red, and he couldn't help but pretended to casually help her put on the hood of her down jacket with a fur collar, then took a few quick steps and walked to the front of her, deliberately stepping deep into the snow.
Song Shengsheng glanced at his back, followed in his footsteps, and followed him into the convenience store on the roadside at the end of the street.
Before entering the door, Jiang Yiyu stomped his feet on the steps outside the door to shake off the snow stuck on his shoes and trouser legs, and Song Shengsheng also stomped his feet with him.
Jiang Yiyu pushed open the door of the convenience store and walked in. He didn't say anything, but he deliberately held the door handle for a while when he entered. He let go only after Song Shengsheng walked in. Song Shengsheng gently closed the door.
"Is there anything you want to eat?"
Song Shengsheng shook his head.
Jiang Yiyu didn't ask any more questions and walked to the shelf at the back of the convenience store where daily necessities were placed. He bent down and took a pack of hot packs from the shelf, walked to the checkout counter, picked up two milk-flavored lollipops and paid.
He tore open a lollipop and put it in his mouth, then handed the other one to Song Shengsheng, who took it and said thank you.
