Gentle and radiant history graduate student vs. Cool, charming, and de...
She was so timid that in the twelve years that she had liked him, even when she was very close to him, she had never dared to walk up to him and hold his hand openly like she did now.
In May of the year when Song Shengsheng was in the first grade of junior high school, the weather got hot early. On the first day of school after the long holiday, Song Qing and Wang Jing were out traveling and had not returned. Song Ming went to his grandfather's house, and the nanny and driver had not returned either. Song Shengsheng was the only one at home, and no one woke her up.
She stayed at home for the entire holiday and got used to sleeping in. When school started, time didn't go back, and the alarm clock rang for a long time in the morning but didn't wake her up.
So, she successfully arrived late in a half-asleep, half-awake state, after sleeping for another five minutes in self-anesthetization.
She left home, took a taxi, and finally arrived at the school gate after rushing.
But as soon as I paid and got off the bus, I saw Jiang Yiyu lazily walking towards the deserted school gate in the distance, with his schoolbag slung over one shoulder and a lollipop in his mouth. He was wearing his autumn school uniform as usual, with the zipper zipped up to his chin.
Song Shengsheng hesitated whether to go up and say hello to him, but Song Ming was not there, and she didn't dare to be alone with Jiang Yiyu at that time.
After hesitating for a long time, she had to suppress her urgency to go to the classroom and followed him about five or six meters away, slowing down her pace and wondering if it would be impolite if she didn't go over to say hello to him.
The morning light at ten o'clock in the morning was a pleasant time, but Song Shengsheng was extremely anxious.
Entering the school gate, there are two rows of tall trees facing each other, with lush crowns connected together. Fine sunlight shines through the gaps between leaves and branches, and sprinkles on the ground in patches. The campus is echoed with the sound of texts being read and the sound of musical instruments coming from the art building.
Jiang Yiyu walked under the shade of the trees, with the shadows of the trees and the sunlight cast on him.
He walked slowly and lightly, with his hands hanging at his sides and swaying slightly as he walked.
Song Shengsheng followed behind him, raising her wrist from time to time to glance at her watch. She walked faster and faster, and finally she couldn't wait any longer and took a few quick steps, getting closer and closer to Jiang Yiyu.
"Brother Yi Yu!"
Jiang Yiyu turned around when he heard the sound, glanced at her listlessly, curled the corners of his lips, and said indifferently: "Good morning, speak softly."
"You're already late, aren't you in a hurry?"
"Yeah, we're all late. Being five minutes late or fifty minutes late is still considered late. Why rush?" His lazy voice was filled with weariness. Song Shengsheng could even faintly smell some alcohol on him.
Jiang Yiyu asked, "How come you, a good student, are late?"
Song Shengsheng raised his hand and looked at his watch again, feeling a little uneasy. "I got up late today, Brother Yiyu, stop hanging around. If you keep hanging around, the get out of class will be over soon."
Jiang Yiyu smiled and said, "Don't worry about me. You can go first."
Song Shengsheng looked up at him and pointed in the direction of the junior high school building: "Then I'll be leaving first!"
Jiang Yiyu waved at her. Song Shengsheng jogged forward a few steps and suddenly stopped. She turned around and saw Jiang Yiyu still looking at her. The sunlight shining on his face made him frown slightly. His beautiful narrow peach blossom eyes were half-closed, and he looked like a tired cat.
"What's wrong?" he asked.
Song Shengsheng took off her schoolbag and pulled out a small plush bag of Winnie the Pooh. She poured out a few mints from the bag, held them in her palm, turned and walked towards Jiang Yiyu. She stood in front of him and spread out her hands: "This is for you to eat, it will refresh you."
Jiang Yiyu exchanged glances with her, then lowered his eyes to look at the candy in her palm. Finally, he reached out and took a piece; "Thank you, quietly."
"fine."
Song Shengsheng put on her schoolbag, turned around and walked quickly towards the teaching building. But for some reason, although she was getting farther and farther away from Jiang Yiyu, she felt as if his eyes were still on her.
When she walked up the steps in front of the teaching building, she turned around and glanced at Jiang Yiyu who was still walking slowly. When she looked at him, his eyes indeed stopped on her.
At noon, Song Shengsheng waited in the cafeteria for Song Ming and Jiang Yiyu to have lunch together, but after waiting for a long time, only Song Ming came. Song Shengsheng pretended to be casual and asked Jiang Yiyu a question.
Song Ming sighed and said, "Don't even mention that guy. He walked into the classroom just as the last bell rang for class today, which really pissed off our head teacher. He's now standing outside the office as punishment!"
"The bell for the last class?"
"Oh, what's wrong? Are you late today too?"
Song Shengsheng nodded: "I actually met him. He shouldn't have been so late."
"Who knows?"
After lunch, Song Ming was in a hurry to go to the basketball court to play. Song Shengsheng said goodbye to him. Seeing that it was still early for lunch break, she bought yogurt, bread and chocolate from the school canteen, and walked towards the high school teaching building with the bags.
When she reached the third floor, she stood at the corner of the office and the stairwell and saw Jiang Yiyu standing lazily against the wall at the office door. He lowered his eyes and played with the candy wrapper in his hand, smiling frivolously and listening indifferently to the girls standing in front of him talking and laughing.
Song Shengsheng stood there and looked at him for a while. Just when she was about to back out and turn away, Jiang Yiyu suddenly looked in her direction.
She quickly dodged and hid behind the wall, avoiding his gaze.
After standing there for a while, she leaned over to look at the office door again, only to see that the girls who had just talked to him had walked away while talking and laughing. Jiang Yiyu lowered his head, not knowing what he was thinking.
Song Shengsheng raised her hand to look at her watch, organized her words, and repeatedly simulated the dialogue she wanted to say to Jiang Yiyu in her mind. She took a deep breath, picked up the bag, and walked towards him as if she had just arrived.
