Chapter 54: The Leaked Email

Zhong Shao looked at him in disbelief. Even when he was dating before, he had never been so obsessed with women as to put them before his friends. This was the first time Zhong Shao had seen him like this.

"Didn't you just break up with your last partner? You're dating someone again? Who is it?"

"It's the girl I met in your store last time. I helped her today and she treated me to a meal."

After hearing what he said, Zhong Shao looked incredulous. He did check the surveillance footage from that day and saw that the girl was indeed pretty, but her attitude had always been to keep him at a distance. How could she suddenly take the initiative to ask him out for dinner?

"She took the initiative to ask you out for dinner?"

"That's not the case. I asked her to."

"She has no interest in you at all, don't be too happy too soon."

Zhong Shao finished speaking and took a sip of wine. Shang Yu heard what he said and stopped walking out of the store. He turned to look at Zhong Shao and asked with a puzzled look:

"How do you know?"

"Let me help you analyze this. You helped her today, but you were the one who suggested treating her to dinner. This means she didn't really want to treat you to dinner at all. Since you took the initiative, she couldn't refuse, so she agreed."

"Yeah, what's the problem?"

"The problem is that something just happened this morning, and she took the initiative to ask you out for dinner that evening. This shows that she really doesn't want to owe you a favor and wants to treat you right away. After dinner, there's no need to contact you again, and that's the end of your relationship with her."

"You haven't even met her, how do you know what she thinks?"

Shang Yu was a little confused as to why his father and his brother said that. He felt that he just had a little affection for Mu Nanyan, and it was not to the point where he had to be with her. But he still wanted to catch up with Mu Nanyan. He did not refute Zhong Shao and asked directly:

Shang Yu: [Okay.]

The two ended their conversation at this point. Mu Nanyan originally wanted to go out for dinner with Tang Yutong, but then she remembered that she said there was a company dinner, so she didn't look for her anymore.

When it was time to get off work in the afternoon, Mu Nanyan packed up her things and left the company.

The other employees in the design department breathed a sigh of relief and started discussing

A girl clicked on the email and saw a striking title:

She continued to scroll down and saw the photo of Mu Nanyan and Shang Yu talking and laughing on the balcony, especially the look in Shang Yu's eyes when he looked at Mu Nanyan. If she said that Shang Yu had no interest in Mu Nanyan, no one would believe it.
