She died in a rigged explosion and unexpectedly woke up in the body of a young girl.

Determined not to waste her second chance at life, she decides to truly enjoy the life she never had befor...

Chapter 14 Apology? An apology is out of the question.

"Apologize? Did we agree to apologize to you? What right do you, a little girl, have to ask me to apologize? Go and call your parents here. Let's see if they'll beg me to forgive you or apologize to you!"

The man who offered fifty million was the first to stand up. He had never seen such an arrogant girl before. How dare a little brat like her talk back to him?

"Exactly, you look very young, little girl. Go home and find out his identity from your parents before you speak! Just a little brat."

The men around Wen Lu looked at her with disdain. They didn't take these small families in Harbin seriously at all. If it weren't for the treasures at the auction, they wouldn't have even been here.

None of the people present took the little girl seriously. They thought they were being magnanimous by not arguing with Wen Lu, but they never expected that this ignorant little girl would actually want them to apologize.

Just then, a man in a suit hurriedly walked out from backstage of the auction, wiping the sweat from his forehead as he went.

He muttered something under his breath, his eyes showing a hint of panic.

The man walked to his seat in the hall, looking at the distinguished guests present, trying to find someone who matched his status.

As he searched, he wondered if this ancestor would appear at today's auction.

Finally, the man walked to seat number 0927 and was shocked to see a little girl sitting there. He couldn't believe it.

He looked at Wen Lu sitting in her seat, then pulled over the staff member who was walking behind him, wanting to confirm whether it was this young girl who had just entered the password.

Are you sure it was her who entered the password?

Hearing the manager's suspicious and trembling voice, Wen Lu slowly raised her eyes, glanced at the man with a cold gaze, placed the number plate in her hand on the table, and said in a flat tone, "It's me, 0927."

Upon seeing the number plate in his hand and hearing Wen Lu's soft yet aloof voice, the manager instantly felt a headache coming on. He couldn't understand why that ancestor would arrange for a young girl to come here.

Although he couldn't see the girl's face clearly, he felt from her voice that she was probably a minor.

"Miss, where are your parents... or rather, your client?"

The manager looked at Wen Lu's hat and spoke cautiously. Even though he knew she was just a child, he still felt he couldn't afford to offend her.

"There are no parents or representatives."

Wen Lu was getting impatient. She suddenly felt that the people she was supporting were a bit stupid. In order to prove her identity, she casually drew a pattern on the table with her finger.

Upon seeing the pattern drawn by Wen Lu, the manager's eyes widened instantly. He had only been slightly sweating on his forehead, but now he was sweating profusely. Who would have thought that this ancestor was so young?

"Well... is there anything I can help you with?"

After confirming Wen Lu's identity, he nervously spoke, praying in his heart that this ancestor wouldn't need his help.

“There really is…” Wen Lu chuckled softly, head down. “Please ask those gentlemen who said I can’t afford to offend them to leave. Their presence will affect my performance.”

Although the lighting inside the auction hall was dim, people could still clearly see each other's faces if they sat close together.

Wen Lu didn't want to reveal her appearance, so she didn't look up and her voice sounded suppressed.

Clearly, the gods in heaven did not hear the manager's prayers; his ancestors had assigned him a very difficult task.

After hearing Wen Lu's request, the manager raised his hand to wipe the sweat from his forehead and looked at the baseball cap on Wen Lu's head with a troubled expression.

"This...isn't this a bit inappropriate?"

The manager looked at Wen Lu with a troubled expression. Although he had the authority to do so, the people at the auction were all people of status, and it wouldn't be appropriate to just kick them out like that.

"Isn't that a good idea? How about we change who handles the auction? Would that be better?"

Wen Lu spoke in a cool voice, with a slight smile in her tone, but the manager could tell that it was a warning from Wen Lu.

Sensing Wen Lu's anger, the manager hurriedly said, "I'll go and ask these gentlemen to leave right now."

As he spoke, the manager waved to the bodyguards standing at the door, pointed at the men who had just mocked Wen Lu, and said in a strong voice, "Please ask those gentlemen to leave."

Upon hearing the manager's words, the bodyguards didn't give the men a chance to react and immediately took them away.

“From now on, those people will not be allowed to participate in any of the Spades auctions.”

Wen Lu spoke again, shocking everyone around her, even the manager could sense her anger.

While he was sweating bullets for himself, he was also worried for those people. He simply couldn't understand why they would provoke this ancestor for no reason.

"Okay, I'll arrange it right away. Spade will expel those people directly."

The manager wiped the sweat from his forehead as he agreed. He dared not hesitate any longer. He could already see the outcome. If he angered this boss again, he would be the next one to be kicked out.

Everyone in the auction hall was shocked after witnessing what had happened. They knew that tickets to the Spade Auction were hard to come by, but this was the first time they had ever seen someone being kicked out.

Realizing that Wen Lu was someone they couldn't afford to offend, those who had previously challenged Wen Lu stood up and apologized to him.

At this moment, they didn't feel that their own status was particularly noble; they only felt that this little girl should be the most noble little princess of some untouchable family.

The newly popular Wen Xingwan also cast an inquiring glance at Wen Lu. There was no such person in her circle, so she wondered where she came from.

This made Wen Xingwan very curious about the girl's identity. If she could be of use to her family, she was willing to befriend her.

Having achieved the result she desired, Wen Lu waved to the sweating man standing beside her. She didn't need anyone to stay with her, otherwise it would affect her extravagant spending.

After the farce ended, the host composed himself and began to introduce the last item up for auction: a core chip.

Everyone was excited when they saw the chip. The information they received was that obtaining this chip meant gaining control of the industry for the next twenty years.

Wen Lu, however, reacted differently. She showed no interest in the item whatsoever, and a look of disappointment flashed in her eyes.

She felt she had been deceived again by the information on her website, and didn't know when that thing would actually appear.
