Zhang Xiaofan waved his sleeves, and a hazy light merged into Johnny's mind from between his eyebrows.

"These are some of my insights from practicing the Jade Purity stage of Tai Chi Xuanqing Dao over the years. You can refer to them to avoid some detours. The practice of the Upper Purity and Great Purity stages is quite complicated. I will teach them to you after you have achieved success in your practice."

Johnny felt a coolness in his mind. He closed his eyes and concentrated, and saw an ancient stone slab engraved with the general principles and practice methods of Tai Chi Xuanqing Dao.

The first level involves drawing the spirit into the body. Practitioners sit in meditation, letting go of their thoughts and suppressing all worries, drawing the spiritual energy of heaven and earth into the body to circulate through the Great Circulation. This allows them to become one with nature and comprehend its creation. If they can guide the spiritual energy through thirty-six Great Circulations within the body, their meridians will be stabilized, allowing them to cultivate to higher realms.

Johnny tried to adjust his breathing rhythm according to the requirements of the practice method, carefully sensed the spiritual energy in his chest, used his consciousness to guide them together, and then moved along the route of the practice method.

The spiritual energy descends from the Dantian, along the lower abdomen, reaches the Zhongji point four inches below the navel, passes through the perineum, passes through the valley to the coccyx, ascends along the middle of the spinous processes of the spine, reaches the Baihui point on the top of the head, then goes down to the face, passes through the throat, and enters the Dantian from the midline of the chest and abdomen, completing the first great circulation.

Johnny woke up from his training and felt warm all over. He stood up and stretched, feeling full of energy.

Looking around, the room was empty. Pushing the door open, the darkness was about to fade away, the silvery dawn light gradually turned crimson, and the sky was getting light. Johnny had actually been practicing all night.

Feeling hungry, Johnny decided to have breakfast. Ancient Chinese people held north-facing positions as the most respectful, so the north room served as the master's bedroom. Since days were short and pleasure was plentiful, they placed a jade jar in the east room, which was generally used as the kitchen.

After looking around, Johnny saw a stove in the corner, water in a jar, rice in a pot, and meat and vegetables on the chopping board. He decided to make some lean meat porridge.

He scooped two scoops of water from the jar and rinsed the pot. After cleaning it, he poured in half a scoop of water and covered the pot. He brought a bundle of firewood from the yard, lit the small sticks with a tinder, put them in the bottom of the stove, and then slowly added more firewood, gradually making the fire burn brighter.

Johnny rinsed the rice twice with clean water and put it in the pot under cold water. He used a kitchen knife to cut a small piece of bacon from the large piece and cut it into thin strips of spicy meat. He also washed and chopped a handful of leafy greens, and after the water boiled, he put them into the pot to cook.

It just so happened that the chickens in the yard laid a few eggs. Johnny was overjoyed and took them without hesitation. The eggshells were still warm and looked fresh!

Take a coarse porcelain bowl, beat the eggs into it, beat them in one direction with chopsticks, add a little salt and vinegar to season, and put it together with the meat and vegetables.

After the water boiled, Johnny poured the rice and shredded bacon into the pot and stirred them evenly with a large spatula. The rice had become soft and glutinous and quickly blended with the meat and vegetables.

Take a grate from the chopping board, place the coarse porcelain bowl containing the eggs on the grate and put them into the pot to steam. Then cover the pot with a large lid and it will be ready in ten minutes.

He took out some firewood, controlled the fire to gradually weaken, and then pierced a few slices of steamed buns with iron sticks and roasted them back and forth over the fire.

Ten minutes later, the firewood burned out, and the steamed buns had become golden brown and crispy, exuding the fragrance of noodles.

When he opened the lid of the large pot, white mist gushed out, and Johnny hurriedly took two steps back. After the steam dissipated, he hooked a spoon through the gap in the grate, lifted it up with force, and slowly placed it on the chopping board.

In the big pot, rice, bacon and green vegetables have been perfectly blended together. The rice grains are plump, and the rice oil, meat oil and vegetable juice are integrated and crystal clear.

Johnny couldn't wait to fill a bowl of lean meat porridge, blew on it, and took a small sip from the edge of the bowl. It was soft, chewy, and a little hot.

Johnny brought the porridge, egg cake and toasted steamed buns to the stone table in the yard, took two photos with his mobile phone, and planned to post them on WeChat Moments as a souvenir. A person's WeChat Moments is like a diary.

Johnny took a big bite of the toasted bun, which was delicious. When he was about to take a bite of the egg cake, he found that it was empty.

Looking closely, Xiaobai was holding the coarse porcelain bowl and pulling it towards his mouth horizontally.

If you don’t have egg cake, you can have some porridge first. The baked bun is a bit choking.

Johnny had already brought the bowl to his mouth when he suddenly felt a breeze blowing past. He took a sip and drank it all.

Hey? Where's my lean meat porridge?

Johnny looked at the empty bowl in his hand and felt like crying, what a bunch of foodies.

Xiaobai put down the coarse porcelain bowl, patted his flat belly contentedly, and said proudly, "Have you ever heard that wealth should not be revealed? If you post it on WeChat Moments, don't blame others for eating it, hehe."

"There's porridge in the kitchen. I made a lot." Johnny pointed to the kitchen. The pot was so big that he could make a lot at once.

"There were some just now, but now they're gone." Xiaobai snapped his fingers and said, "Come out!"

Johnny looked over and saw four children coming out of the kitchen one after another, one boy and three girls, with Nuanshu leading the way.

Nuanshu obediently walked up to Johnny, bowed her head and admitted her mistake, and was about to cry.

It was just a bowl of porridge, so there was no need to scold the children for it. He waved his hand and said, "Go play!"

The children didn't move, staring at the baked buns on the table, almost drooling.

Johnny sighed, handed the steamed bun to Nuanshu and asked her to distribute it.

Led by Nuanshu, the four children bowed to the teacher one by one, then each put something wrapped in oil paper on the table and ran away like the wind.
