Reborn in a parallel world, Zhou Yiyang becomes the boss, manager, and errand boy of an 18th-tier girl group...
Who could have imagined that five years later, Zhou Yiyang's girl group swe...
When the anniversary special issue of Harper's Bazaar was officially on the shelves, Zhou Yiyang had already landed in Australia.
He had a quick breakfast and then met a young girl at the airport who had purple hair, light green eyes, and was dressed quite unusually.
Her face was indeed very similar to Zhang Yingyuan's deceased wife, but her eyes immediately reminded people of her mixed-race identity.
The other person glanced at Zhou Yiyang, and his gaze stayed on him for at least ten seconds.
"Hello," she extended her hand. Her sharp, thin nails made Zhou Yiyang give up the idea of shaking her hand. "I'm Zhang Yiling, and Zhang Yingyuan is my grandfather."
Zhou Yiyang nodded. To be honest, the other person's "non-mainstream" outfit made it difficult for people to equate her with Zhang Yingyuan.
He only remembered that Zhang Yingyuan's daughter married and went to Australia and had several children. He didn't expect that her eldest daughter was already this big and looked like an adult.
"Where is your mother? Didn't she say on the phone that she would come to pick me up?" Zhou Yiyang didn't expect that the person who came to pick him up was a little girl.
"My mom's in the hospital and can't leave." Zhang Yiling stretched, glanced at Zhou Yiyang, and whispered, "Uncle, you're so handsome. Are you a celebrity?"
…
Uncle?
Zhou Yiyang's face almost broke: "Didn't your mother, no, your grandfather ever tell you about me?"
"I'm a rebellious girl. My mom and grandpa both pretend I don't exist." She's actually quite pretty, and could definitely enter the entertainment industry. It's just that her aesthetic and style are a bit too strange. "If they have any problems, they only talk to my younger siblings."
Zhou Yiyang nodded. No wonder he always had the impression that Zhang Yingyuan’s granddaughter should be only a few years old.
It turns out he has an older granddaughter.
"I'm a director and a boss. Do you know Moonlight Girl? She is an artist under my company." Zhou Yiyang asked.
"I know. I've heard their songs and seen their movies, but I never take the initiative to get to know a celebrity. But you must be amazing." Zhang Yiling took off her schoolbag, pulled out a cigarette and handed it to Zhou Yiyang: "Want to smoke?"
Zhou Yiyang raised his eyebrows and couldn't help but teach the other person: "Smoking is bad for your health."
Zhang Yiling was stunned at first, then she burst into laughter as if she had heard a funny joke, and her precocious breasts began to shake.
"A rich and powerful man like you actually told me that smoking is harmful to health." Zhang Yiling held the cigarette between her fingertips, but she didn't smoke it, as if she was posing.
Her lively personality is a good disguise, but her eyes are too melancholy.
As a director, Zhou Yiyang likes to observe other people's eyes.
"You've been calling me uncle since the beginning, and now you're using this tone again," Zhou Yiyang walked up to her, using his height advantage to cast a shadow over Zhang Yiling. "I'm actually curious, how old are you?"
He bent down and looked directly at Zhang Yiling. Because of his gentle smile and clean demeanor, Zhang Yiling didn't feel oppressed by this aggressive gesture at all.
"Asking a woman's age is a taboo," Zhang Yiling raised her head, stood on tiptoe, and placed the cigarette behind Zhou Yiyang's ear. "But when the person asking is a handsome guy, it's polite to answer honestly. I just became an adult two days ago."
He's actually an adult.
This face can't be seen!
"Then you shouldn't call me uncle," Zhou Yiyang chuckled. "It's not nice to call someone old. How did you get here?"
"Drive." Zhang Yiling suddenly grinned. After jogging forward for a while, she turned around lightly and opened her arms, like an elf in the wind.
"Uncle is a nickname," Zhang Yiling said as she walked backwards, her eyes sometimes looking boldly at Zhou Yiyang's face, sometimes looking melancholy at the sky. "For little girls like us, a mature uncle is much more attractive than a young boy who is still wet behind the ears."
"Then I'll take it as a compliment." Zhou Yiyang quickly followed her pace: "Do you like watching movies?"
"like."
They walked out of the airport and Zhou Yiyang did not ask where her car was.
The bright sunshine fell on the ground, making her purple hair particularly dazzling.
Zhang Yiling leaned against the nostalgic red mailbox, her melancholy eyes staring blankly at the model in the glass window:
“They all say that film is the director’s art. Is that true?”
"The director is indeed the soul of a film, but the actors, screenwriters, and every staff member are also important."
"What an official answer." Zhang Yiling opened her palm towards Zhou Yiyang and said, "Give me the cigarette."
"You have to say please to your elders, and don't you still have cigarettes?" Zhou Yiyang knew there was still plenty of time and was not in a hurry.
"Please give me the cigarette." Zhang Yiling replied fluently: "I like that cigarette."
After taking the cigarette, Zhang Yiling immediately put it in her mouth.
"Uncle, could you please give me a fire?"
She looked at Zhou Yiyang innocently, like a little deer.
"I don't have one." Zhou Yiyang spread his hands helplessly until the other party pointed to the grocery store across the street.
After he lit a cigarette for her, Zhang Yiling tilted her head back and exhaled a large puff of smoke as if blowing bubbles.
"When I was a kid, I loved watching Zhang Yingyuan's films, trying to get to know him as a person through his films."
"I've discovered that many of his films express contradictory things." Zhang Yiling scoffed, "Are you trying to say I'm too young to understand?"
"No," Zhou Yiyang shook his head seriously. "Once the film is made and shown to the audience, all the rights of interpretation are given to the audience. And I never think that children know nothing."
