My Mech Has a Bit of a Cultivation Flavor

In the Spirit Realm battlefield, sparks flew in the valley as dozens of mechs engaged in fierce combat. However, at the most intense moment of the battle, two sneaky mechs suddenly darted out one...

Chapter 27 The Mysterious Entrance to the Chaos Realm

Xiang Fan's Zero Mech slowly descended into the void, and the surrounding scene gradually became clear. This was the Chaos Realm—the legendary forbidden zone within the Spirit Realm battlefield. It was said that only a handful of players could find the path to enter, and Xiang Fan was clearly one of them.

The void seemed to be a floating virtual starry sky, with data streams pouring down like waterfalls, transforming into countless tiny points of light that swirled around the mech. In the distance, islands of various shapes floated in the air. Some resembled vast furnaces, their blazing light threatening to burst forth lava at any moment; others resembled abandoned battlefields, their ground littered with the shattered remains of broken mechs, a terrifying sight; and still others, shrouded in black fog, seemed as deep as an all-consuming abyss, seemingly harbouring unknown dangers.

Through the Zero Point Mech's holographic screen, Xiang Fan noticed several mechs flying nearby. Some were practicing combat maneuvers high in the sky, the light of their psychic swords piercing the air. Others were parked at the edge of the island, seemingly observing their surroundings. He slowly advanced the Zero Point Mech when a system notification suddenly popped up on the screen:

"You have entered the chaotic area, please follow the following instructions——"

"This area is not officially supervised, please be careful."

“All transactions are negotiated by the players themselves and at their own risk.”

"All combat consequences are the responsibility of the player. Please cherish your mech."

Xiang Fan glanced at the prompt and curled his lips slightly. "Cherish the mecha? That sounds nice. Everyone here is planning to destroy other people's mechas first."

After the prompt on the screen disappeared, he breathed a sigh of relief, his tone tinged with hope: "Every time I come in, it feels like I'm going through the gates of hell, but I finally made it in again."

The Zero Point mecha continued to fly forward. The spiritual energy in the void fluctuated in varying strengths, like a storm poised to erupt at any moment. Xiang Fan looked at the irregular flow of spiritual energy on the screen and shook his head. "This is ridiculous... It's really different from other areas. Even the spiritual energy seems to be on steroids."

The full panorama of the Chaos Realm gradually unfolded before Xiang Fan. He piloted his mech high into the sky, surveying the islands below. Some islands shimmered with the psychic energy of battle. Sharp explosions echoed, and the wreckage of mechs littered the ground. Even the tiny points of light in the void were blurred by the psychic fluctuations.

In the distance, an island with interlaced lights caught his attention. The area was like a city in the void, with mechas moving through it like shadows, bustling with activity. A system prompt popped up on the screen:

"You are approaching the black market area, please be sure to abide by the area rules."

Xiang Fan narrowed his eyes, studying the simple map on the screen. The black market was divided into several functional areas, including "Trading Area," "Battle Arena," and "Private Area." His gaze fell on the trading area, which was covered by a translucent dome of data streams. Within it were scattered countless small compartments, each emitting faint fluctuations of spiritual energy.

"It's said that you can buy anything here..." Xiang Fan muttered softly, a hint of excitement flashing in his eyes, "From basic parts to illegal hacking programs, as long as you have something to exchange, we can make a deal."

He remembered the rules Shadow Killer had mentioned: "We don't accept virtual spirit stones here, we only accept barter. If you don't have enough trading items, don't even think about doing business."

As Xiang Fan approached the black market, the scene grew busier. He saw several mechas parked outside the trading area, their pilots whispering to each other, clearly engaged in a secret transaction. Off to one side, swords were drawn over a price dispute. The weapons of two mechas clashed, the crackling of psychic energy deafening.

Xiang Fan looked at this scene and couldn't help but raise an eyebrow: "It really is a place without rules... Even buying things requires preparing for a fight first."

He continued to control the Zero Point Mech as it slowly approached the black market area. His eyes swept over the various mechs, and a smile appeared on the corner of his mouth: "Interesting, this is the real spiritual battlefield."

He stopped the mecha, glanced at the system's remaining psychic energy supply, and after confirming it could hold out for a few hours, he said softly, "Okay, next, let's see if there's anything good we can get."

Xiang Fan found a secluded corner and brought the Zero Mech to a steady stop. He looked around, confirmed it was temporarily safe, and then opened the communication channel: "Shadow Killer, Black Tortoise Guard, I'm here."

The Shadow Killer's voice immediately came over the channel, his tone filled with his usual liveliness: "Boss! You're finally here! If you were any later, I would have suspected you were kidnapped by those idiot pursuers!"

The Xuanwu guard's deep voice followed closely behind, a hint of ridicule in his tone: "Shadow Killer, stop showing off. Who was the last person to get lost in this place for three hours and almost have to beg for food?"

"Pooh, pooh, pooh!" Shadow Killer exploded instantly and quickly explained, "I was familiarizing myself with the terrain! Do you understand what familiarizing myself with the terrain means? It's part of strategic reconnaissance!" At the end, his voice was obviously weaker.

Xiang Fan couldn't help but smile as he slowly descended the Zero Mech, its power system emitting a soft hum. He looked ahead and saw the Shadow Killer and Black Tortoise Guard mechs already waiting on a small platform.

The Shadow Killer's mech was as lithe and agile as ever, its body gleaming in a jet-black sheen, like a cheetah lurking in the night, its every edge radiating the chilling aura of an assassin. The Black Tortoise Guard's mech, on the other hand, was a stark contrast. Its heavy armor and exaggerated shield gave it the appearance of a mobile iron fortress, and the battle scars on the shield added a touch of ferocity to its aura.

Xiang Fan jumped off the Zero Mech and clapped his hands: "Are all the items for the transaction ready?"

The Xuanwu guard patted the supply box behind him with his mountain-like mecha, making a dull "dong dong" sound. His tone was full of confidence: "Don't worry! I brought only high-quality goods, and I can definitely exchange them for the materials you want. If the other party is not satisfied, my shield will not agree!"
