The purple mist vanished, revealing a hideous face before them—and there was only one face.

The hideous face was shrouded in purple mist.

Li Muge understood.

This tower is ancient and must have absorbed the obsessions of the demons suppressed within. Once they cultivate into spirits, they would be extremely difficult to deal with.

Li Muge silently took a step back.

He shouted loudly to the spirit in the tower.

"In this way, your bodies and souls will remain here, becoming nourishment for the pagoda."

Li Muge nodded: "You have some nerve. Just wait, my Demon Lord will kill you."

Then she quickly hid behind Yun Qi.

"Demon Lord, I'm so scared, I need your help."

Yun Qi turned around in disbelief, his gentle lips uttering without hesitation, "Have you no shame?"

Li Muge's smile widened: "Demon Lord, you make it sound like you want to be the same person."

"If you want it, why don't you just return the spiritual plant to this man?"

Yun Qi pondered for a moment: "No."

The spirit in the tower was utterly enraged. Even as she faced certain death, the man and woman were still flirting in front of her.

They didn't take him seriously at all.

"You will all die." The spirit within the tower is the spiritual embodiment of the pagoda itself.

He seemed to be a sovereign being.

Li Muge pushed Yun Qi forward: "Demon Lord, let this rotten-faced monster see your power."

Yun Qi bit his index finger and drew it on the talisman. The white talisman seemed to possess spiritual energy.

Heading towards the spirit within the tower.

However, the spirit within this tower has been cultivating for tens of thousands of years, while Yun Qi, no matter how powerful, is merely a dragon with a few thousand heads.

He roared, and countless wisps of purple smoke passed through Yun Qi's body.

Yun Qi fell to the ground, his lips pale, and gently wiped the blood from his arm: "This arrow was poisoned. Li Muge, you really had some ulterior motives."

Li Muge did not answer, but flew away on his sword and rescued Su Xun.

The alternate personality witnessed all of this through Li Muge's pupils; this was the first time she had seen Yun Qi suffer a setback.

"Wait, are we just going to leave like this? What if Yun Qi isn't dead? Wouldn't that leave behind a future problem?"

Li Muge supported Su Xun with one hand, her eyes dark and unfathomable, yet revealing a hint of indifference.

"No, this time I will make sure that my mortal enemy, Yun Qi, disappears from my life forever."

"He couldn't possibly have escaped."

"This pagoda will soon be Yun Qi's tomb."

"What do you mean?" The alternate personality laughed. Killing Yun Qi was equivalent to killing the greatest threat.

A mere tower spirit is naturally no match for Yun Qi.
