In the darkest era, he ignited the prairie fire. Facing the strongest enemies, he fought alone. Some call him a warlord of chaotic times, while others see him as a benevolent minister who saves the...
"Chen Jing, you're late," Eliza said. She was obviously waiting for Chen Jing; the others had probably already finished and left.
Chen Jing was stunned: "Isn't this obvious?" For intelligent machines, blindness is just an appearance. You can't expect a mechanical connector to have no other ways of perception.
"Oh, is that so?" She scratched her head. "Then go register first, then go to the matching room to choose your starting warship, and then go to the evaluation site." After a pause, Eliza turned around and said, "It seems there are only three left. If you hurry, there are still some to choose from, but I advise you not to choose the red-haired one."
Chen Jing nodded: "I understand." So there are still dangerous elements. He smiled, but are there any red-haired people in the Marshal's battleship fleet?
Chen Jing himself prefers silver and black, so when constructing the world view, he rarely designs characters with bright colors.
But that wasn't important anymore. We had to hurry. Chen Jing put Ai on his back into Elisa's arms and said, "Please take care of her. I'm going to the evaluation first."
Chen Jingjing walked away without looking back, leaving Elisa's face turned to the girl in her arms, silent. The two seemed to be staring at each other, and Ai smiled awkwardly: "Hello."
Eliza was stunned for a moment, thought carefully, and forced an ugly smile on her ferocious face: "Hello."
The two fell into silence.
Chen Jing pulled Fenrir and ran inside. There were not many people in the corridor, and the intelligent machines coming and going were all busy with their own things. No one paid any attention to Chen Jing. The previous management system came back online and guided Chen Jing to a small room in the corner.
The staff member, a greasy middle-aged man in a black work suit, waved his hand and said, "Come over for the physical examination and registration."
Chen Jing walked up to him, and the staff asked again, "What's your name?"
Chen Jing replied: "Chen Jing."
"Oh, you are the one..." He suddenly remembered something, looked at Fenrir, and closed his mouth.
It’s a dark history, absolutely!
"Do you still need a physical examination?" Chen Jing asked.
The staff member smiled and said, "Nonsense, some students took drugs before coming here, so the test results are not of much value. But you, what were you thinking, bringing this little girl here?" He was referring to Fenrir, and the little she-wolf raised her head, looked at Chen Jing, then at the staff member: "Is there something I can help you with?" After adapting just now, she no longer stuttered when speaking.
"She's my connection target," Chen Jing said. A connection target refers to the target of the connection ability, and is generally a terrifying entity. However, the cute appearance of the little female wolf is quite deceptive.
But the staff member turned serious: "You mean, you pulled the connection object into the real world?"
Chen Jing's pupils shrank. This was a grave taboo. Every time, it was a disguised evil god descending upon the world, and Fenrir was no exception in some sense. Legend had it that her saliva flowed into a poisonous river, demonstrating just how terrifying this demonic beast was. Its jaws could even hold up the heavens and earth.
"Fenrir."
"Hmm?" Golden eyes looked over: "What's up? Friend?"
The word "friend" once again dispelled Chen Jing's guard. How could such a cute child be an evil god? Even Azathoth didn't believe it.
Chen Jing couldn't help but reach out and rub Fenrir's head. His two ears were pressed down and then stood up again, pressed down and then stood up again, trembling, and Fenrir's face turned red.
"Ahem." The staff member couldn't bear it any longer: "Mr. Chen Jing, please come in for a physical examination."
"You are jealous of my good relationship with Gouzi." Chen Jing gave Fenrir a nickname without saying a word.
Fenrir asked in confusion, "I'm a wolf, why are you calling me a dog?"
"Wangcai."
"Ah! If you keep yelling like that, I'll never let you touch my ears again!" Fenrir instantly became angry.
The physical exam was actually quite simple: Chen Jing lay down in a cylindrical instrument and was scanned. The only problem the examination revealed was that Chen Jing hadn't eaten breakfast. The registration process was also quite casual: just fill in a few blanks and describe your ideal location. Following this style, Chen Jing filled in "whatever."
People like the admiral are actually local warlords. How can he be assigned to a position casually? It will be useless to fill in any position.
"If you're hungry, you can go to the restaurant and get some food," the staff suggested.
Chen Jing shook his head, waved his hands, and then covered his mouth: "I, don't have time." This kind of instrument will cause a certain sense of dizziness after using it, but Chen Jing felt particularly dizzy, which was most likely due to not having eaten.
Fenrir was squatting in the corner playing with her cell phone. Seeing her timid look, who would have thought that she would be so aggressive towards Odin.
[Sooner or later, I'll bite the group leader to death: I was playing with the pigeons, and we just held hands.]
[It's me, Odin: Then don't come back. Just live over there so I don't have to worry.]
[Sooner or later, I will bite the group leader to death: Really? ]
[It's me, Odin: I'll assign someone to supervise you and ensure you complete your holiday homework on time.]
[Sooner or later, I'll bite the group leader to death: What holiday homework?! Why didn't you know about it before?]
[It's me, Odin: Your mother had Tyr do this, and Thor and I couldn't escape either. It's called "A Thousand Questions on Self-Cultivation for the Demon Wolf." A perfect score of 100 is given, and they say if you don't get 70 points, you won't get any meat.]
[Sooner or later, I will bite the group leader to death: Are you devils!? ]
Fenrir saw Chen Jing coming out, and with a flick of her wrist, her phone disappeared. She ran over happily and said, "I've made a deal with that old thief Odin. She'll send someone to monitor me, and I can live with you."
