My Mythical Fleet

In the darkest era, he ignited the prairie fire. Facing the strongest enemies, he fought alone. Some call him a warlord of chaotic times, while others see him as a benevolent minister who saves the...

Chapter 56: The Predecessor of the Transformer

Yoge-Sothoth's demure demeanor was extremely deceptive. Although Chen Jing didn't believe it, a man who rushed in did. He glanced at Chen Jing, then at Yoge-Sothoth. On one side was the shabby-looking man who looked like a fool, and on the other was the beautiful literary girl who was forced to stay here by him.

There wasn't a second option to this multiple-choice question from the start! He glared at Chen Jing fiercely, trying to intimidate him into stopping him. Looking at his metallic battle suit and the rifle slung at his waist, it was clear he was a soldier, and by the looks of it, an official. Although the lower half of his face couldn't be seen, the look of indifference in his eyes was still obvious.

Chen Jing watched him flirting with Yog-Sothoth with his eyes wide open. Although Yog-Sothoth was in human form, Chen Jing could feel the intuition brought about by the level of danger. Any living creature could feel it. Could it be so easy for hormones to cover up the danger?

He anxiously urged Yoge-Sothoth to go with him to the harbor and board a ship. His tone and attitude were impeccable; the only problem was that he had chosen the wrong person.

Her own pantheon was all fighting here, and she, as the supreme commander and the culprit who dragged them here, really couldn't leave. She could only nod slightly, continue reading and pretend not to hear.

The man became even more anxious, and looked at Chen Jing with a cold sweat on his face: "Is she deaf?"

Chen Jing laughed: "If they don't want to pay attention to you, just ignore them." Although Chen Jing looks very ordinary, his equipment is not that ordinary. He is wearing full body power armor with dense modules and weapons on it, which tells men that he is not easy to mess with. If they really fight, he will definitely suffer.

"You should try to persuade her. It's too dangerous here. At least she should find a place to hide!"

"No need." This was the only sentence Yog-Sothoth said to him.

The man's face was full of expression, and then he snorted coldly and turned away. Chen Jing silently watched his back disappear around the corner: "This guy is quite interesting."

"Perhaps." Yog-Sothoth said ambiguously, then pulled a book out of thin air and tossed it to Chen Jing: "It's not difficult to transform your status into strength. This is a device I've been researching. Take a look at it and give me a chance to liberate my mythical form at a friendly price."

"Okay." Chen Jing didn't even have to think about it. If something could make Yog-Sothoth so cautious, it must not be some scrap metal. And it would be even better if it could improve Chen Jing's own strength. Chen Jing's biggest shortcoming was his own strength.

"Trans-Crystal Wall Divine Power Transmitter?" The name gave Chen Jing a headache: "What is it used for? Be more direct."

"Well, it's probably equivalent to Azathoth's real body in our world. With this thing, as long as you have a medium, you can use Azathoth's power to a limited extent in this universe. How much you can use depends on your body's endurance." Yog-Sothoth pointed his finger at Chen Jing: "Like you now, you can only withstand the incomplete power of the lowest-level god at most." And this lowest level is probably the weakest among the Old Ones, and even humans can withstand a few hits.

"I understand. Why do you want to liberate your mythical form?" One must be on guard against others.

Yog-Sothoth scratched his head. "Because I'll definitely have to clean up the mess I've caused this time, right?"

Chen Jing raised his head: "Yeah, things are getting serious." Faced with this kind of resistance, the alien intelligent machines would do anything without exaggeration. Those Old Ones might be in danger.

"I'll treat you this time, and next time it'll be free, okay?" Chen Jing said with a smile.

Yog-Sothoth shook his head: "Don't let it happen again." I have so many priestly duties and I'm so busy. You still pull me out every now and then. I'm probably going to die of overwork.

"Even the outer gods can die from overwork. This is really eye-opening. Do you think anyone will believe you?" Chen Jing curled his lips.

Yog-Sothoth stopped moving, and a square metal bar landed in Chen Jing's hand. "This thing will change shape as more objects specified by the medium are placed inside. Right now, there's nothing inside."

"So what does it take to be considered a medium?"

"At least if there's an object that has had direct contact with a god, then the relationship must be very high. Otherwise, if an unknown god possesses you, it's going to be troublesome."

Chen Jing thought about it, took out a handkerchief and covered the metal bar. This was Brunel's. She didn't take it with her before she left, so she handed it to Chen Jing. Chen Jing forgot that he had this thing on him. It was not until now when he thought about the mythical item that he remembered this handkerchief that Brunel had carried with him when he came off the production line.

The activation conditions of this device are very strange. It requires the target to be a god, and it cannot be a demigod. Fortunately, Chen Jing is the creator god.

He hadn't experimented with the Yog-Sothoth present, primarily because he feared her body would force its way in once connected to the device, wiping out Chen Jing's life in a matter of seconds. Their styles were strange and unpredictable, so what would happen once connected depended largely on their conscience. If the Outer Gods had a conscience, Chen Jing would have dared to eat the display screen.

"It's quiet outside." Chen Jing whispered.

Yog-Sothoth closed his eyes, then opened them again and smiled. "We've already reached low Earth orbit, and I can sense a significant advantage. The crowd on our side is furious, while the other side is a bit hesitant."

"I'll be out for a while, just keep an eye on this place."

Chen Jing picked up the metal bar and started playing with it.

Black blood flowed on the ground. A man stood in front of Chen Jing and said with a smile, "I saw it." If Chen Jing didn't know that this was Axia's common way of appearing, he almost hit him with an elbow. If he missed, it would be fine. But if he hit her, Chen Jing would probably have to avoid her in the future.

"Axia." Chen Jing greeted.

Axia nodded and said straight to the point: "I came to you this time because there is something I can help you with. Anna told me that." Axia did need to be involved in the matter of the reincarnationists before.

This matter was very simple to explain. Chen Jing simply finished speaking, and Axia nodded and closed the illusion.

After sending away the God of Fate, Chen Jing went back to rest. Just as he fell asleep, he discovered that Yog-Sothoth's mythological form had requested liberation, but this was also expected.

Chen Jing couldn't intervene in the battle outside. If he forced himself to participate, his productivity and mortality would be the same. Whether he lived or died was controlled by his opponent.

When the exaggerated energy swept past, Chen Jing realized that the provoked alien intelligent machine had taken out its most powerful skill - the rule weapon, and the liberation of Yog-Sothoth was quite magical. Chen Jing could feel the wailing of space.
