Lin Xiaoxiao stared at the last card on the gambling table.

His eyes were filled with madness and tension.

Her breathing was rapid and disordered. She couldn't lose this time...

"Dealer Blackjack." The dealer lifted the covered cards.

Her chips were cleared out, and she had lost the entire night...

The gamblers around looked at him with either sympathy or ridicule.

They haven't forgotten how arrogant she was when she won money a while ago.

See, no one wins all the time...

Lin Xiaoxiao no longer cared about these things. She tightly grasped the doll hidden in her bag and stumbled into the bathroom.

The woman in the mirror was so thin that she looked unrecognizable, with sunken eye sockets. Even heavy foundation couldn't hide the sores at the corners of her mouth.

What was even more terrifying was that she actually saw her own shoulders in the mirror.

A purple baby was lying on the ground, grinning at her.

"Get out of here!"

Lin Xiaoxiao slapped her shoulders frantically. She began to complain and curse hysterically, waving her hands and beating them hard.

"You piece of trash! It's all your fault, you piece of trash!"

She pinched and hit the doll, cursing incoherently.

She grabbed the perfume bottle on the sink and smashed it at the doll.

Some of the stitching on the doll had broken... and it was emitting a foul, rotten smell.

"Mom...it hurts..." A faint whimpering sounded in her ears.

"Pain? You know it hurts too?"

"You are afraid of pain, why do you dare to make me lose money..."

She took out a silver needle with a grim smile and stabbed it hard into the doll's forehead.

"I'm going to make you suffer even more. Let's see if you dare to do it again next time, you bastard!"

The doll was shaking violently, and more and more threads were broken.

Lin Xiaoxiao didn't notice any of this and continued to prick with the needle, cursing.

"It's all because of you that I lost money! And made people laugh at me!"

The light in the bathroom suddenly began to flicker violently, and tiny beads of blood oozed out of the sink, along with small bloody handprints.

Lin Xiaoxiao's ears rang with the sound of babies crying one after another:

"Mom... I'm not afraid of pain, and you're not afraid either, right..."

"Mom...let's have fun..."

"Can we stay together forever?"

The voice seemed to have crawled up from hell, tightly entangling her, trying to pull her down to hell and making it impossible for her to escape.

She looked around in horror and saw black blood oozing out from under each cubicle door, slowly spreading towards her.

Lin Xiaoxiao screamed and rushed out of the bathroom, knocking over the waiter without noticing.

She had no recollection of how she finally returned to the apartment.

She only vaguely remembered that it seemed as if many small hands were pushing her along, and the nursery rhyme kept echoing in her ears:

"Mommy, be good...Mommy is coming..."

"And we will never be separated..."

"Mom, fly, fly..."

"And we will never be separated..."

Jiang Muyao took the elevator to the floor where Lin Xiaoxiao lived.

The elevator door slowly opened, and a chill hit her face. The lights flickered, as if they would go out at any time.

The originally white wall was now oozing with dark red liquid, which flowed down the wall like blood.

There's so much resentment in the air...

"Brother! Brother!" the ghost baby suddenly spoke.

"I feel my brother, inside!"

Jiang Muyao held down the restless jade pendant, her expression solemn.

Everything in this corridor clearly shows that the little ghost brother's resentment has reached a terrifying level.

The good news is: its brother is still alive and has not been taken away by the master.

The bad news is: judging from the resentment that is so strong that it has become materialized, as well as the smell of blood, its brother not only has a deep resentment, but also has human lives on his hands.

Once a ghost has taken a human life, it will never be able to reincarnate successfully.

What awaits it is either becoming a murderous ghost, being punished in the underworld for eternity, or having its soul torn apart.

There was a muffled "bang" sound.

Jiang Muyao's thoughts were interrupted by the sound that sounded like something heavy being dragged.

Then there was another strange 'crackling' sound, as if bones were being crushed inch by inch.

Jiang Muyao suddenly raised her eyes and looked towards the door where the sound came from.

I saw blood slowly seeping out from under the door and spreading on the dim ground.

Jiang Muyao walked forward, but before she got close, she heard hysterical screams coming from inside:

"Get away! Don't come over here, I'm not your mother!" Lin Xiaoxiao's voice was sharp and desperate.

Along with the sound of shattering glass, eerie voices began to chuckle:

"Mom... let's play together..."

"Mom... don't you want us anymore?"

The jade pendant was incredibly hot, and the ghost baby cried anxiously:

"Fairy sister, please save my brother! Please."

"I can feel that my brother is not well, he is unhappy... he is crying..."

Jiang Muyao pushed the door open with her hand.

The house was in a mess, with furniture toppled over and broken glass scattered all over the floor.

Lin Xiaoxiao curled up in the corner of the room, her eyes filled with fear and her hair disheveled.

His clothes were torn, his face was covered with scratches, and he was muttering to himself:

"Don't come over, don't come over, I don't dare anymore..."

Four babies covered in bruises crawled around her, their faces blurred and their eerie laughter continued to ring out.

The figure of the little ghost brother is the clearest. He exudes black resentment all over his body and his eyes are full of hatred.
