Why do experts and directors from various top-tier hospitals frequently appear at a community clinic? Why do nationally renowned experts and professors often visit a township-level health center?
For most people, they don’t actually know whether the expert is good or not. The greater purpose of finding an acquaintance is actually psychological comfort. They always feel that finding an acquaintance will prevent them from being cheated, right?
However, in reality, the more familiar you are with someone, the more likely they are to be cheated.
"Is Tang Hua okay? I heard from my son that he is currently studying at Tang Hua." Yun Tian asked.
"Tang Hua is also fine, Tang Hua and Xi Hua are both fine."
Li Juncun nodded. To him, there was not much difference between Tanghua and Xihua.
There are quite a few good hospitals in Xihua City, including more than 20 Grade A tertiary hospitals. Tanghua and Xihua are the two best hospitals.
"Hengheng, it's OK."
Yun Tianxue then let go of the phone and said to Yun Heng.
"Well, let me ask first and call you back later."
"Okay, then I'll hang up first." Yun Tianxue nodded and hung up the phone.
Yun Heng returned to the consultation room and Ji Fengwen was still explaining the medical records.
After Ji Fengwen finished speaking, there was still twenty minutes of activity time, so Yun Heng followed Ji Fengwen.
"Xiaoyun, what's wrong?"
Ji Fengwen asked with a smile as he walked.
"Um."
Yun Heng nodded, and as they walked, he whispered to Ji Fengwen what Yun Tian had just said.
"Chronic nephritis, a 13-year-old boy?"
Ji Fengwen barely hesitated and nodded directly: "Just ask him to come over directly. When he arrives, we will arrange for him to stay with us. We can analyze the situation together then."
"Thank you, teacher."
Yun Heng hurriedly thanked him.
"Thank you for what?"
Ji Fengwen smiled and said, "It's our duty as doctors to heal illnesses and save lives. But you have to remember one thing: as a doctor, you must treat all patients equally. You can't give special treatment to one patient today because they're your friend or relative, but then refuse to help the next patient who's your enemy. I agreed because we have beds available and no patients have made appointments. If I were fully booked, I wouldn't set this precedent for you."
Yun Heng nodded: "Teacher, I understand."
Ji Fengwen smiled and continued, "Doctors are human too. They have emotions, likes and dislikes, and are sometimes swayed by their emotions. I'm not telling you this to make us doctors saints, but rather that doctors must have principles and bottom lines. Once some principles are broken, the breach will only widen. You can't treat an enemy the same today, but a few days later, you might not treat them the same just because you dislike the patient. A doctor who is easily swayed by personal emotions will never be a good doctor."
"Teacher, I understand." Yun Heng nodded again.
