One day, a massive change occurred, and all humans were thrown into a survival game. Starting with a nebula,{"title": "Nebula...
"Awooo." The black wolf not far ahead let out a low howl.
Shen Zhiyi instantly became alert, wondering if Black Wolf had discovered something, and quickly walked over.
"What's wrong?"
"Aww." That's the identifying point.
The black wolf howled again, telling Shen Zhiyi about its discovery.
This is a place overgrown with bushes, and a very small landmark is hidden among them.
Shen Zhiyi went up and gently parted the bushes, revealing the identification points inside.
Black Wolf, meanwhile, kept watch on the side while Chen Zhiyi acted as a lookout.
Shen Zhiyi placed her hand above the identification point.
[Identification point number 27 has been unlocked.]
After checking the map on the panel again and confirming that the unlock was successful, Shen Zhiyi pulled back the bushes that were originally blocking the identification point and hid the identification point again.
I didn't mean anything by it; she's just not that generous.
There was a white box in the bushes, which Shen Zhiyi picked up. Inside were two loaves of bread.
After tidying up, Shen Zhiyi led the black wolf away from the original spot and continued to venture deeper inside.
"Who's there!" A male voice suddenly rang out, stopping Shen Zhiyi who was walking forward.
Shen Zhiyi stopped, pondering whether to fight directly or just leave.
Unexpectedly, the man walked straight over.
"Outsider?"
The man looked Shen Zhiyi up and down, and after seeing her attire, he confirmed her identity.
Shen Zhiyi, who was about to leave, stopped when she heard the word "outsider".
Are you a resident of the island?
The man nodded, his tone losing its initial sharpness. He said, "Don't go any further. There's a poisonous swamp ahead."
Shen Zhiyi glanced in the direction she had just left, and the colors of the scenery ahead did seem a little off, but she hadn't noticed it before.
"Thank you, I didn't notice that just now," Shen Zhiyi said to the man.
The man waved his hand dismissively, "Hey, that poisonous swamp has a deceptive effect; usually, if no one stops you, you'll just walk right through it."
"Outsiders don't know about the poisonous swamp; only the people on our island know about it."
"It's getting late. Would you like to come to town with me? It's not safe to be out in the wilderness at night."
The man said this entirely because, looking at Shen Zhiyi, he felt she was delicate and frail, as if she couldn't be hit.
Shen Zhiyi initially wanted to refuse, but after thinking about it again, she agreed.
"Okay, thank you for your help."
"What's so troublesome about this? We're overjoyed that someone is willing to come to our island." The man led Shen Zhiyi in one direction.
The black wolf followed hidden in the bushes nearby, wary of any ill intentions the man might have.
"Just call me Dongcha." Dongcha walked along, using her machete to cut down the thorns that had grown into the middle of the road.
So that Shen Zhiyi, who was following behind, could walk more safely.
Shen Zhiyi raised an eyebrow, surprised that Dong Cha was such a nice and thoughtful person.
"Is that wolf next to you yours? It's been following us the whole way," Dongcha suddenly blurted out.
Shen Zhiyi paused for a moment, a hint of murderous intent flashing in her eyes.
"Well, I used to raise a wolf cub, so I'm quite familiar with wolves."
Dongcha knew Shen Zhiyi was worried, so she explained to her, "I'm not a bad person, you can rest assured. Otherwise, I wouldn't have left my back to you, right?"
Black Wolf had already returned to Shen Zhiyi's side when the tea was served.
"Sorry, but girls always need to be careful when they're out and about," Shen Zhiyi replied calmly.
Dong Cha nodded, indicating his understanding.
Along the way, Shen Zhiyi saw several more treasure chests, picked them up, but didn't open them; she simply stuffed them into her backpack.
As they passed by a certain place, Shen Zhiyi called out to Dong Cha, as if she had spotted a landmark.
"Wait a mininute."
Dongcha knew that outsiders sometimes wanted to find things, and as long as it didn't threaten their local residents, they wouldn't interfere.
Dongcha stood to one side, waiting for Shen Zhiyi.
The identification point was embedded in a stone wall. Shen Zhiyi pressed her hand on the stone wall and heard a confirmation sound.
"Alright, let's keep going."
After walking for about ten more minutes, we arrived at the town that Dongcha had mentioned.
"By the way, Dongcha, how many towns are there on your island? Or is it just one town?"
On the way to Shen Zhiyi, she didn't talk much with Dongcha.
"The town I live in is called Dongzhen, and everyone in the town has the surname Dong."
"In addition, there are four towns: North Town, South Town, West Town, and Central Town."
Dongcha thought for a moment and then instructed Shen Zhiyi, "You outsiders should try not to go to Nanzhen. The people of Nanzhen are not very welcoming to outsiders."
Shen Zhiyi didn't ask why, but Dongcha told her.
“There was once an outsider who deceived several girls in Nanzhen, and those girls all died.”
"The girls who died were all from relatively powerful families in Nanzhen, so they became very xenophobic."
“Sometimes when people from other towns go to Nanzhen to do business, they also need to show their identification, otherwise they are not allowed to enter Nanzhen.”
Shen Zhiyi understood. It was roughly a story about a scumbag who hooked up with several girls, but in the end, the scumbag was exposed, he just walked away, leaving the girls heartbroken and committing suicide.
That kind of scumbag deserves to die.
"And that outsider?"
Dongcha sighed, "We didn't catch him; he escaped from the island."
"Nanzhen has announced that if that person comes again, and they capture him and send him to Nanzhen, they will receive a generous reward."
"But more than a decade has passed, how could that person possibly come back to the island? Don't you think so?"
Shen Zhiyi nodded. "Once you leave the island, it's like looking for a needle in a haystack."
As they walked, an older woman waved to Dongcha and said, "Dongcha's back! Who's this?"
"Hello, Auntie. This is a visitor from out of town who's come to the island for a visit," Dongcha introduced Shen Zhiyi to the old woman.
Shen Zhiyi smiled at the old lady.
Upon hearing this, the old woman nodded repeatedly, "Oh dear, it's been so long since anyone from our East Town has come here. Young lady, make yourself at home, don't be shy. If you don't know anything, feel free to ask me anytime."
“Okay, then Auntie can’t find me annoying.” Shen Zhiyi naturally agreed.
"Oh my, what are you saying? I'd love for you to stay with me!" The old lady was very good at talking, and she immediately attracted the attention of the nearby residents.
Shen Zhiyi: "..."
Help! I'm having social anxiety attack.
"Hey, someone's come to our East Town?"
"To tell you the truth, I ran into some outsiders when I went hunting today. I invited them to visit our East Town, but they didn't seem very willing."
"Why wouldn't you want to come? Our East Town is no worse than Central Town."
"I don't know, I don't understand either."
"I ran into them too, but before I could even say hello, they just walked away."
