The main story briefly describes the cultivation journey of the protagonist Ye Suixin and the female lead Ye Xiyun.
The ...
Medicine Valley was originally called Spirit Valley because it was inhabited by a separate race called the Spirit Clan. The Spirit Clan had various forms, roughly divided into beast-like, human-like, and alien forms.
Most of them are beast-shaped. Although they have all developed intelligence, they are extremely irritable and highly aggressive. The humanoid spirits are very similar to humans, less aggressive, but have the highest talent for cultivation.
Finally, there are the aliens, which come in various shapes like jelly or bubbles. They have basically no cultivation and no intelligence, but they are lively and cute, and many people like them.
The Eldar first appeared about a thousand years ago, and at that time they were not as large as they are now, only one-sixth the size they are now.
When they first appeared, both sides fought dozens of battles and suffered losses on both sides. Although they were fewer in number, they were by no means weak, with three Divine Origin cultivators, while Xuan Yu only had two at that time.
But if we're talking about the reasons for starting the war, the Spirit Race mainly wanted the vast land and space of the Human Race, while the Xuan Yu Sect coveted the almost extinct herbal resources.
As the war continued to escalate, the losses on both sides gradually exceeded acceptable levels.
Therefore, after continuous discussions, the two races reached a consensus and finally came to have the Spirit Valley Agreement.
The agreement stipulates that the Spirit Race must open the Spirit Valley to the Human Race once every ten years, but cultivators entering the Spirit Valley must not exceed the Divine Origin Realm, and their lives are left to fate. Fighting among themselves is permitted, but Spirit Race Divine Origin Realm cultivators are not allowed to interfere. This is why even Celestial Origin Realm cultivators are in danger; the beast-like Spirit Race members will attack anyone they see.
Rule Two: The Xuanyu Sect must grant the Spirit Race five times its current land area in a single transaction. This is a considerable sum for them, given their pitifully small population and slow birth rate. Therefore, much of the land granted by the Xuanyu Sect remains uninhabited. However, for the Xuanyu Sect, the exchanged medicinal herbs are far more valuable.
These are the two main regulations; the rest are minor aspects.

Xi Yun flew low over the Medicine Valley, thinking about the growing environment of the Divine Herb. According to the "Pharmacopoeia", the Divine Herb grows in the extremely yang place south of the mountain and north of the river.
So as soon as they arrived, they flew towards the sunniest east, hoping to find something. Ye Hao did the same, but since they were roughly parallel, they were unlikely to meet.
After flying for an hour, they encountered almost no beast-shaped spirits along the way. After passing through a forest, a towering mountain came into view, its peak covered in snow and shimmering golden under the blazing sun.
Xi Yun searched along the sunny side of the snow mountain, occasionally spotting a few spiritual herbs, but she ignored them all.
Suddenly, a polar bear appeared ahead. It was at the True Essence Realm and sat leisurely by the mountainside, unusually refraining from direct attack.
"Human, this is my territory, not a place for you." Strangely enough, the polar bear felt a sense of light and holiness towards the girl in front of him, which made him have no desire to attack.
"I'm looking for a medicinal herb, it's urgent, could you please make an exception?" Xi Yun said, her voice tinged with a hint of pleading.
What kind of medicinal herbs are you looking for?
"Enchanted Grass"
"Go deep into the grass? I don't have that here. Perhaps you could try looking at that mountain over there."
The polar bear pointed to a distant, illusory mountain range.
Xi Yun was taken aback, then quickly cupped her hands and said, "Thank you."
The polar bear nodded, seemingly quite pleased.
"Ahem," the polar bear coughed, his upturned lips fading slightly. He was puzzled. "What's wrong with me? I usually enjoy torturing and killing humans. What's wrong with me today?"
Along the way, she encountered several more beast-shaped spirit race members, including one at the Heavenly Origin Realm, but remarkably, none of them made things difficult for her. Xi Yun was also terrified, breaking out in a cold sweat, but she was puzzled as to why none of them attacked her.
Xi Yun flew swiftly, with a jelly-like alien spirit perched on each of her shoulders, constantly rubbing against Ye Xi Yun's face as if it liked her very much.
"We're almost there," Ye Xiyun thought to herself as she looked at the massive mountain range that appeared before her.
And so, a day passed, and she finally arrived at the enormous mountain range, but the mountain range was surrounded by a huge barrier, and she could not enter.
Looking at the barrier before her, Xi Yun felt anxious, like having something right in front of her but unable to reach it. Unwilling to give up, Xi Yun called out, "Is anyone there? Is anyone there?", continuing to call until a man's voice rang out.
"Who is making such a racket here?" A spirit race member, remarkably similar to humans, appeared before Ye Xiyun with his eyes closed, possessing the cultivation level of the Profound Origin Realm.
Suddenly, the person seemed to sense an unusual aura before them and slowly opened their eyes. They were shocked by what they saw, their eyes widening as they stared intently at Ye Xiyun, and exclaimed, "You...you are...you are a Chaos Body?"
Ye Xiyun was puzzled, but she nodded nonetheless.
"Really?" The man's hands trembled slightly, and his tone was very unsettled.
"Um"
"Please wait a moment, I'll go up and report," the man said, bowing to Xi Yun before disappearing.
When he reappeared, an old man with a powerful aura stood in front of him. Looking at the old man, Xi Yun felt that he was no less powerful than Elder Zheng Qiao.
"Heavens! It really is a Chaos Body! We've finally waited for this!" Looking at Xi Yun, the powerful cultivator couldn't hide his excitement.
His name is Ling Rui, one of the two remaining Divine Origin Realm cultivators. When he heard the palace guard say that a Chaos Body had come from outside the mountain, he didn't believe it at first, but now that he has seen it, he believes it.
"Young friend, what brings you here?" Ling Rui asked with a smile, suppressing his excitement, like a kind old grandfather.
Xi Yun was puzzled as to why the other party was being so polite, but she felt there was a chance, so she said, "Senior, I've come here to find the Divine Herb to save my friend. I wonder if you could let me in?"
"The Divine Herb? Sure, but you have to grant us one request." Lingrui thought for a moment and then made a condition.
"What are the requirements?" Ye Xiyun asked immediately. She felt that it didn't matter what it was, as long as she could get the Divine Herb.
Lingrui waved his hand and said, "Young friend, don't rush, let me tell you something first. My clan once made a promise: an unparalleled being instructed us to treat those with chaotic bodies kindly, saying that person would break the curse for us and bring prosperity."
This commitment is etched into our very being, so hasn't your journey been smooth, with no Eldar attacking you?
Xi Yun nodded and continued, "Then, senior, may I state your conditions?"
Seeing that Xi Yun didn't care, Ling Rui didn't hesitate and said, "I need half of your Chaos Blood. Do you agree, young friend? If you don't agree, it's fine. We are willing to send you out."
