Chapter 89 The Realm of Divine Understanding Opens

It was a space completely different from the outside world. The sky was gray and hazy, with large and small air currents like dark clouds floating in the air. Looking further up, many spots of light could be seen in and out of sight, separated from the outside by a glass-like barrier.

The air is filled with spiritual energy, more than ten times that of the outside world. Looking into the distance, many buildings sit on the ground. If you ignore their black exteriors, they are quite magnificent. The only color is the light spots on their surfaces.

"Is this the Realm of Divine Interpretation?" The chubby boy wondered, marveling at the scenery before him in a desolate place.

Every cultivator who enters the Divine Realm will be randomly teleported to a place where they can't see anyone.

Once everyone does this, they'll know how big the space inside is.

But Sui Xin and Xi Yun are exceptions, perhaps due to gravity.

They remained embracing each other, continuing to fly in the sky without any sign of stopping.

"Yun'er, where is this?" Sui Xin slowly recovered and opened her eyes to ask.

For some reason, the scenery in front of me felt familiar.

"Suixin, are you alright?" Xiyun asked immediately when she saw Suixin wake up.

"Don't worry, you're just a little exhausted."

Sui Xin frowned slightly; the unknown is the most terrifying.

After flying for a while longer, its speed did not decrease at all, but its direction gradually veered towards the ground.

"Damn it, they're so fast," Sui Xin thought, feeling a little panicked.

"Yun'er, don't move later," Sui Xin reminded her.

"Okay, be careful."

The next second, the traction disappeared, and the two rushed straight to the ground.

Using all his strength, Sui Xin managed to erect a spiritual energy shield around his body, then turned slightly to place himself below, with Xi Yun on top of him.

With a "bang," the two crashed to the ground.

The immense impact shattered the shield, and it continued to slide forward.

The ground was full of gravel. After sliding for only four or five meters, the clothes on my back were completely torn, followed by my skin, leaving streaks of blood on the ground.

Despite his pain, Sui Xin couldn't help but grip Xi Yun's arm tightly.

Xi Yun knew that Sui Xin was in pain, so even though his arm was gripped so tightly that it turned red, she felt nothing. Her eyes were a little wet, but she was helpless.

"Phew~", Sui Xin breathed a sigh of relief and finally stopped, having skied for about forty or fifty meters.

"Does it hurt?" Xi Yun asked with concern, raising her hand to wipe the dust off his face.

"It doesn't hurt, it's nothing serious," Sui Xin said, her face pale, but she still tried to sound relaxed.

"Yun'er, go downstairs for a moment."

Then he continued.

Xi Yun was on top of him, and he couldn't sit up. His back felt numb, and he didn't know what was wrong.

"Okay," Xi Yun said, having regained some strength. She went down to his side and helped him sit up.

But when I saw the blood on his back and the grit embedded in his flesh, I still gasped and felt a pang of heartache.

I wanted to reach out and touch it, but I was afraid of hurting myself.

"You said it didn't hurt, but it's been rubbed raw like this," Xi Yun said, her heart aching as she looked at Sui Xin.

"What should we do? There are still so many stones inside the flesh," he then said.

"Can you pick them out for me?" As long as he doesn't move, he really doesn't feel anything right now, just a tingling, numb sensation.

"Then you'll have to bear with it."

"good"

A hot wind blew through the air, and the stones on the ground rolled with it. Behind them stood an ancient, dark pagoda, about seven or eight stories high.

A soft, almost imperceptible laugh echoed through the tower, unnoticed by Sui Xin and the other two.

Xi Yun moved closer, supporting his back with one hand and starting to pick out stones with the other.

With a gentle nudge, it didn't fall off, indicating that quite a bit of it had gone in; with more force, it finally fell off after two or three attempts, leaving a small hole from which blood slowly oozed out.

Sui Xin shuddered and couldn't help but say, "Ouch, Yun'er, be gentle."

Because of the depletion of spiritual energy, the body's ability to resist pain has decreased significantly.

"Does it hurt a lot? There's still so much left," Xi Yun's voice trembled slightly.

I'm not sure whether to continue.

"It doesn't hurt, it doesn't hurt, you can continue, I can bear it," Sui Xin immediately changed her mind when she saw Xi Yun's reaction.

"Okay, just bear with me, I'll try to get it done quickly."

"Yes, a short pain is worse than a long one."

Then came a series of deep breaths and the sound of stones being peeled away, until the last piece.

About half an hour later, Xi Yun's cultivation gradually recovered, and she used her spiritual energy to sweep away the dust on her back.

After finishing, I began to channel spiritual energy into Suixin until the wound on her back began to heal and stopped bleeding.

Sui Xin sat down on the ground. The comfortable spiritual energy from Xi Yun was like a contrast between ice and fire, and she fell asleep without realizing it.

Fortunately, Xi Yun reacted quickly and moved in front of Sui Xin, catching his head as he fell.

Xi Yun touched Sui Xin's hair, gently changed his clothes, changed her own red clothes into her usual white robe, and then moved him to the wall of the Black Tower.

He sat by the wall, leaning casually against Xi Yun's chest.

Xi Yun looked at Sui Xin in her arms, her eyes filled with tenderness. Sui Xin had single-handedly shouldered all the unexpected events that had just occurred, and she was unharmed.

Only he could do this for her, but unfortunately there was nothing she could do except stay by his side, Xi Yun thought.

"Snap," a snap of fingers.

"Stay by his side? You're overthinking it. There's nothing you can do," a dark figure floated out of the tower, its face and body obscured by a cloud of black smoke. It was impossible to make out its appearance, but it was clear that it was a woman's voice.
