Legend has it that Ye Qingyu is an ancient deity, the most profound ice phoenix in cultivation, yet her heart is not cold. She has secretly admired a certain immortal elder for hundreds of thousand...
The things recorded in this Plum Blossom Manual aren't difficult to learn; it simply involves using plum blossoms as blades, combined with some footwork and restrictions to attack objects. Su Xue knows plum blossoms better than anyone else; she herself is a plum blossom, so she can use plum blossoms as blades to attack objects, although it might not be lethal.
However, if footwork and restrictions are added, the effect is self-evident.
It seems this Plum Blossom Sutra is somewhat interesting, but as a mere fairy, learning these things is of little use to me, since I won't be going to the battlefield to fight. I can only learn them for fun, to pass the time in this boring celestial life.
If I had known the Heavenly Realm would be so boring, why did I work so hard to cultivate back then? I would have been better off following Brother Ruyun around every day, watching him listen to the snow, appreciate the plum blossoms, and brew tea.
From time to time, I'll go back to the human world to listen to stories, stroll around, and experience the life of ordinary people.
How wonderful it would be to taste the delicious food made by ordinary people and see the beautiful scenery of the world!
I'm so regretful.
Outside the window, it was completely dark, and no boy came to call her for dinner. Su Xue was getting restless.
On second thought, perhaps Master and his future wife were chatting so enthusiastically that they forgot to call him for dinner.
So he closed the book, got out of bed, put on his shoes, and went to the kitchen by himself, no longer waiting for someone to call him.
In the kitchen, Ji Motian stared at the rice in his bowl, racking his brains about how to trick the Plum Sutra from his disciple into taking it into his own hands.
Su Xue entered the kitchen and was surprised to see only her master sitting there fiddling with the rice in his bowl! She immediately said...
“My future master’s wife, where are you hiding? Call her out so that I, your disciple, can pay my respects. We’ll be family soon anyway, so there’s no need to hide anything now. Future master’s wife, come out. I’m Old Man Ji… oh no, I’m Su Xue, the disciple of Immortal Mo Tian.”
Su Xue searched and called out, but no one responded.
"Stop calling me, come and eat. I have something to tell you after you finish eating."
Su Xue reluctantly sat down next to Ji Motian.
"Speak, what is it?" Su Xue took a sip of soup and said with some disdain.
Ji Motian was extremely displeased when he saw the disdainful look in his disciple's eyes. He decided to teach him the proper way to be a disciple first, and put the plum scripture aside for now. Anyway, there would be plenty of time to trick him into coming back.
Ji Motian smiled and asked his little apprentice, "Xiaoxue, is the soup delicious?"
Su Xue shook her head. She swore that the soup was not good at all, not even as good as one of her brother's fingers, and not even as good as a single strand of Ru Yun's hair.
But I really want to drink it, so I'll just have one more sip, just a tiny sip.
Under Ji Motian's solemn gaze, Su Xue picked up the bowl, drank it all in one gulp, and then licked her lips, still not satisfied, and smiled foolishly at her master.
Ji Motian's mischievous smile turned slightly red under his disciple's gaze. He coughed twice, quickly turned his gaze to his rice bowl, and mumbled, "Didn't you say... it didn't taste good?"
“Yes, it doesn’t taste good,” Su Xue said matter-of-factly.
But we didn't really have a choice, did we?
The two quickly finished their meal, and Ji Motian called a servant to clear the dishes.
Before Su Xue could speak, Ji Motian said:
"Stop overthinking. There is no future master's wife. I noticed you were acting strangely in the bamboo forest, and since I couldn't talk to you properly, I came back on my own."
