The room was cold and dark, and Gu Yixian's expression was as emotionless as the room's temperature.

Just then, the door was pushed open, and through the light, Gu Yixian could vaguely see the white figure, and couldn't help but smile coldly.

Little Peach, inside Gu Yixian's belly, sensed Gu Liyan's presence, and her soul stirred slightly.

Gu Liyan approached Gu Yixian, looked at her pale face, and frowned slightly.

Before he could even speak, Atao's excited voice came from Gu Yixian's belly, "Daddy, you're finally out of seclusion! Atao missed you so much!"

As soon as she finished speaking, Gu Yixian frowned, clutching her stomach in pain, and couldn't help but curse, "Damn little brat! Can't you stop rolling around in my stomach when you're talking?!"

Atao chuckled and said, "Sorry, I forgot!"

"Hmph!" Gu Yixian snorted coldly, her face turning even paler.

Gu Liyan looked at Gu Yixian and said, "I came out of seclusion today and came to see you all."

"Hmph, you hypocritical fox spirit, you say you're watching us, but actually you're here to monitor me for Gu Yixian's life and safety, aren't you?" Gu Yixian sneered.

Upon hearing this, Gu Liyan couldn't help but smile wryly. He did not deny that he had come to see Gu Yixian for her safety.

"Xiao Tao, how have you been feeling lately?" Gu Liyan stepped forward, squatted down, and gently stroked Gu Yixian's belly.

"You..." Gu Yixian's face flushed instantly. She hadn't expected Gu Liyan to be so presumptuous.

"Don't misunderstand, I'm checking on Yiyi's health and checking on Xiaotao's recent situation. It has nothing to do with you." Gu Liyan said irritably.

Gu Yixian glared at Gu Liyan and snorted coldly, "Hmph!"

"Daddy, Xiaotao is fine, it's just that this space is getting smaller and smaller. If it gets any smaller, I'm afraid Xiaotao won't be able to turn over in her sleep!"

Gu Liyan frowned slightly, knowing that Xiao Tao's time to be born as a baby was running out. He said with a solemn expression, "Don't kick and thrash around in my belly, be good."

"Yes, Xiaotao knows."

Gu Liyan smiled gently. When Gu Yixian saw Gu Liyan's gentle face, the icy peak in her heart began to crack and slowly melt away.

Gu Liyan bent down and placed the food he had brought in front of Gu Yixian. "Mo Chen doesn't know how to take care of women. You've suffered these past few days. These are pastries that Sister Yiyi, Gu Linlin, just made. You can try some to replenish your strength."

Gu Yixian glanced at the snacks Gu Liyan brought over, curled her lip, and said, "Hmph, human food is all filthy food, I don't even bother to eat it!"

Gu Yixian looked at Gu Liyan with a smile, then sneered, "Besides, you know that I'm only interested in your blood right now. You shouldn't be unaware of that, right?"

Gu Liyan narrowed his eyes and looked at her coldly. "People eat cooked meat, but you drink raw blood. These are all the same as the filthy food you mentioned. There is no difference between them! Even if you don't want to eat it, don't harm my Yiyi's body!"

"Hmph!" Hearing Gu Liyan's words, Gu Yixian said angrily, "Sure enough, you only care so much about your Gu Yixian. You don't have such deep feelings for me, or even for Xiao Tao in your arms, do you?"

Gu Liyan looked coldly at Gu Yixian and said, "Stop trying to sow discord here! Your filthy thoughts won't affect us."

"That's right! My daddy put in so much effort to raise me. He gave me life. Our relationship is one of life and death, one of unwavering devotion! It's not as worthless as you say!" Xiao Tao said angrily.

Gu Yixian snorted coldly and said nothing.

Gu Liyan glanced at Gu Yixian's belly and said, "Take good care of yourself during this time. I will have Yiyi's older sister, Gu Linlin, take care of you."

Gu Yixian glanced coldly at Gu Liyan, gritting her teeth as she spoke, "Hmph, hypocrite! You think I'd appreciate your kindness? Gu Liyan, don't think I don't know what you're thinking. You want me to give up my revenge? Let me tell you, that's impossible! I, Cang Ye, will show absolutely no mercy! Only one of us can live; it's either you or me!"

Gu Liyan stood up, looked deeply at Gu Yixian, and said with a crazed expression, "Cang Ye, if you let Gu Yixian be safe, I will let you leave safely. If you are still stubborn, even if this world is destroyed with you, I will not let you go!"

After saying that, Gu Liyan turned around and left the room.

Watching Gu Liyan's retreating figure, Gu Yixian couldn't help but burst into laughter. "Hahaha, Gu Liyan! You're a madman—laughable, pathetic..."

As he closed the door and listened to Gu Yixian's final burst of laughter, Gu Liyan's slightly cold gaze was filled with chill.

He knew Cangye was laughing at him, but while laughing at him, how could he not know if Cangye was also laughing at him?

"That..." Gu Linlin looked terrified. She had clearly heard Gu Liyan and Gu Yixian's conversation at the door.

The thought of Gu Changge's previous malice towards her made her turn pale with fright. She stammered, "Gu...Gu Liyan, I...Is it inappropriate for me to stay here? Maybe...maybe I should leave..."

If she were still here, she would probably be scared to death by their schizophrenic ravings, even if she wasn't killed by Gu Liyan and Gu Yixian!

"Why are you leaving? Are you scared?" Gu Liyan looked at Gu Linlin coldly and said, "Are you afraid of me, or afraid of your sister Gu Yixian?"
