Mo Hua squinted and turned to look at An Qianbai, who was standing there dumbfounded below the stage. He smiled slightly and said coldly, "Don't be stupid and rush up there. Remember to seize the opportunity!"

Hearing Mo Hua's words, Hua Qing'er's eyes lit up. She actually didn't stop her?!

Hua Qing'er excitedly replied, "Yes, Palace Master!"

"Go!" Mo Hua turned his gaze away from An Qianbai and glanced at Hua Qing'er before speaking.

Without further ado, Hua Qing'er rushed off the observation platform.

Gu Liyan walked towards An Qianbai and stood in front of her, his heart trembling slightly.

"Xiao Bai..."

Upon hearing Gu Liyan call her name, An Qianbai's body trembled, and a strange light flashed in her eyes.

Seeing this, Gu Liyan thought An Qianbai was frightened, so he quickly went up and took her hand, "Xiaobai, don't be afraid, I will protect you..."

Before Gu Liyan could utter the last "you," a sharp blade flashed past. Gu Liyan's expression changed abruptly. Before he could react, he felt a sharp pain in his chest as the cold dagger plunged deep into his flesh...

"Uh—" Gu Liyan groaned, looking at An Qianbai with a blank and surprised expression. "Xiaobai...you..."

An Qianbai looked up and met Gu Liyan's eyes. Looking at An Qianbai's gaze, Gu Liyan couldn't help but shudder. His cold, emotionless eyes were as indifferent as frozen ice!

An Qianbai gripped the dagger tightly, ignoring the pain on Gu Liyan's face, and pulled it out without any mercy. Gu Liyan gasped in pain, and before he could retreat, An Qianbai raised the dagger again and stabbed down!

Pfft—

It was the sound of a knife piercing flesh again, but this time Gu Liyan felt an extraordinary pain! He let out a painful scream.

Upon hearing Gu Liyan's scream, Xiaolong and Xiaohu immediately stopped what they were doing, and everyone stood motionless, staring at An Qianbai on the stage in astonishment.

A trickle of black blood slid down Gu Liyan's lips, his pale face contorted in pain. Before him lay An Qianbai's cold and crazed face, her hand still gripping the dagger tightly, trying to pull it from Gu Liyan's grasp.

Gu Liyan gritted his teeth, gripping An Qianbai's hand tightly, and shouted at her with a look of despair, "Do you really want me to die by your hand? Xiao Bai!!!"

Upon hearing Gu Liyan's words, An Qianbai suddenly froze. She looked up at Gu Liyan with a somewhat dazed gaze, but still remained indifferent.

Gu Liyan breathed a sigh of relief when he saw that An Qianbai had finally calmed down. It seemed that this was not An Qianbai's true will, but that she had been controlled by someone to do something that hurt her.

However, Gu Liyan's expression changed again, and he spat out a mouthful of black blood.

"Pfft..."

Gu Liyan stared blankly at the blood spurting from his mouth and the blood on his chest. Why was it all black?!

"Hahaha! Gu Liyan, your death is near!" Upon seeing this, Cang Mu burst into laughter.
