Gu Yan believed Mo Bai's words, nodded and said, "In that case, you should go back and rest first, and we'll talk in detail later."

Gu Yan looked at Mo Chen and said, "I have something I need to confirm with Mo Chen again."

Mo Bai sneered, "If you mistake someone for someone else again next time, watch your head!"

Mo Chen kept his head down, while Mo Bai snorted coldly and ignored him, then walked into Gu Yan's room.

Seeing Mo Bai walk in, Gu Yan asked in confusion, "Why are you here again? Didn't I tell you to go and rest first?"

Mo Bai chuckled and sat down in front of him. "Don't I know you? Although you told me to go and rest, you actually want to know the truth more than anyone else. Based on what Mo Chen just said, you're bound to have doubts. So I'll tell you the whole story again so you can put your mind at ease and avoid losing sleep."

Gu Yan glared at Mo Bai and said irritably, "How could I sleep after something like this happened! You should have stayed home, or you'd be better off not coming back at all! I'm your military advisor, can't you show me any respect?"

Gu Yan pointed at Mo Bai, trembling with anger, "I knew it! That Mo Bai was so obedient and well-behaved before. Turns out you're not even the same person! If he were you, why would the demon race be afraid of the demon race? They would have sounded the alarm and retreated long ago!"

Mo Bai nodded. "I guess so, if you can accept him."

Gu Yan pondered for a while, recalling the scene of Gu Liyan exchanging academic ideas with him, and sighed, "Okay, I admit it, I don't dislike him, and I always feel that there is a kind of friendly feeling about that guy."
