As Gu Liyan admitted it, Cang Mu quickly reached out and grabbed Gu Liyan's neck.

"Uh—" Gu Liyan groaned, struggling as he pulled on Cang Mu's hand.

"You know what, brat? I couldn't go home just now because I was saving you! And you still dare to talk to me like that? Do you want to die?" Cang Mu said coldly.

Gu Liyan was pushed to the ground by Cang Mu. "Cough cough..."

Gu Liyan coughed a few times, looking at Cang Mu with some surprise, "You, you saved me?"

"Hmph, don't you even look where you are? Yan Muxue's master is here, taking my place and showing off. I won't let him have his way with his smug look!" Cang Mu sneered.

Gu Liyan blinked and asked curiously, "Your demon race has split into factions and groups?"

"What do you mean by dividing into factions? It's just that half of them are managed by the Holy Son and the other half by the Clan Chief! Now that Cangyi is back, he won't let that woman monopolize power anymore!" Cangmu said, clenching his fists.

When Gu Liyan first heard that the Demon Clan was ruled by women, she thought it was a lie, but after Cang Mu told her, she truly believed it.

Gu Liyan smiled. "Oh? So, in the beginning, women held power in your demon race!"

Cang Mu glared at Gu Liyan. "So what if a woman is in power? Cang Xue is more thoughtful than any of us."

Cang Mu said with a hint of longing in his eyes, "Just being looked at by her makes you feel like you have endless strength. She is our god, and even more so, our faith!"

Looking at Cang Mu's expression, Gu Liyan couldn't help but laugh. "I think she's just using all sorts of inspiring methods to make you all wholeheartedly serve her. You're all stupid; you didn't even realize it!"

"How dare you! If you dare to speak disrespectfully and insult the clan leader again, I will throw your body into the wilderness and make you vanish into nothingness!" Cang Mu pointed at Gu Liyan in a fit of rage.

Gu Liyan immediately surrendered, hurriedly saying, "I won't say anything more, please don't kill me!"

Seeing Gu Liyan beg for mercy, Cang Mu coldly snorted, "Hmph, coward!"

"Heh, as long as I can be with Xue'er, I'd be willing to be a coward," Gu Liyan said.

Hearing Gu Liyan's words, Cang Mu sneered and asked, "You like that wild girl that much?"

"Xue'er is not a wild girl! She is someone who would give everything for me, and she is the woman I love most!" Gu Liyan said earnestly.

Seeing Gu Liyan's serious expression, Cang Mu found it inexplicably funny and pointed at Gu Liyan, bursting into laughter, "Haha, you look like a child who hasn't grown up, trying to act like an adult and talk about love, it's really too funny!"

Gu Liyan's cheeks flushed red at his words. "So what? A beautiful lady is sought after by a gentleman. I like her, and she likes me too. What's wrong with that?"

"Ha, what a childish mentality! The situation between the demon race and the monster race is clearly irreconcilable. As a monster, you want to be with the demon princess? You are too naive!" Cang Mu sneered.

"No matter what, I will try my best! There must be a way for the demon race and the monster race to coexist!" Gu Liyan said earnestly.

After all, the Demon Race and the Celestial Race eventually achieved coexistence!

Gu Liyan was unaware that her words had deeply moved Cang Mu. Seeing Gu Liyan's resolute gaze, Cang Mu believed her without hesitation.

Cang Mu suddenly stood up, smiled faintly, and said, "Well then, good luck!"

"Where are you going?" Gu Liyan asked anxiously as Cang Mu was about to leave.

Upon hearing Cang Mu's words, Gu Liyan frowned. Had all his thoughts and actions been seen through?

Gu Liyan watched him leave, then thought for a moment and decided she should return to the demon clan base and tell them about the curse array...

Gu Liyan walked for nearly four hours, sweating profusely, and still found the demon race's base was far away.

Sitting on the ground to rest and looking into the distance, I saw dust billowing everywhere and heading towards me.

"Strange, what is that?" Gu Liyan asked, puzzled.

The billowing dust drew nearer, and just as it approached, Gu Liyan was startled. A colossal monster was frantically chasing a group of human-faced, beast-bodied demons as they raced toward him.

"This, isn't this the ancient divine beast White Tiger?! How could it appear here?!" Gu Liyan trembled with fright.

This is not something he can contend with!

The orcs running ahead also saw Gu Liyan and rushed towards her like madmen.

Gu Liyan was immediately furious. "Are these guys trying to kill me?!"

Gu Liyan cursed angrily, turned around and ran away, but even though he ran ahead, the orcs behind him refused to leave his direction and followed closely behind him.

"Cough cough... This guy, is he ever going to stop?!" Gu Liyan was furious. They had been running for almost half an hour, and the white tiger was still chasing them. The white tiger didn't attack, but followed behind them like a cat playing with a mouse.

After running for a while, Gu Liyan felt dizzy and lightheaded. She staggered a few steps, her legs gave way, and she sat down on the ground.

Gu Liyan said angrily, "Damn it! It would be too humiliating to die like this! When you encounter an ancient divine beast, death is inevitable, but I can't accept dying such a pathetic death!"
