"I've been waiting for you here for several hours, what do you say?" the Nine Nether Heavenly Emperor said coldly.

"Hehe, let's see if you can catch up with me!" Mo Bai chuckled, and then disappeared from the spot in a flash.

The Nine Netherworld Emperor's eyes flashed with a sharp light as he looked at the ground and sneered, "Escape underground, huh? Don't think I'm as incompetent as those little demons!"

The Nine Netherworld Emperor slammed his palm on the ground, and in an instant, a strong electric current surged into the ground. Mo Bai, who was trying to escape underground, was directly hit and emerged from the ground with a scream.

"You...you bastard!" Mo Bai was paralyzed by electricity and unable to move.

"Although it is an auspicious divine beast, it is so stupid. If you had attacked first, you could have fought me. Now you don't even have a chance to fight back!" The Nine Nether Heavenly Emperor sneered. "Do you think Gu Liyan would have done the same, tucking his tail between his legs and running away?"

Mo Bai's lips curled up slightly. "Gu Liyan asked if I didn't know, but do you really think I can't escape?"

"What?" The Nine Netherworld Emperor frowned, only to see Mo Bai gradually dissipate into nothingness. He coldly said, "That Mo Bai fellow actually learned the illusion techniques of the fox demon clan!"

"Haha, once bitten, twice shy! Nine Netherworld Emperor, you're even more cunning than an old fox! Did you think I wouldn't be wary of you?! I've already used the illusion techniques Gu Yan taught me. It's not that I'm afraid of you, but I have other things to do and don't have time to waste with you!" Mo Bai transmitted his voice, but he was already ten miles away. "You insidious fellow, next time we meet, I'll definitely give you a good fight!"

The Nine Netherworld Emperor narrowed his eyes and sneered, "Since you've chosen to run away, I can't just sit here and wait to die. Don't forget, the little demons in the demon race base can't escape!"

With a wave of his hand, the Nine Netherworld Emperor summoned countless undead from the ground, each one fierce and menacing, their bodies stained with deathly aura.

The Nine Netherworld Emperor coldly said, "It's time for you to step in! Don't disappoint me!"

As Mo Bai fled, he felt the rain falling from the sky was incredibly cold, a chill that made his heart tremble. Thinking of the cold, ruthless eyes behind the Nine Nether Heavenly Emperor's mask, Mo Bai cursed inwardly, "That damned guy! I knew he was plotting something! I thought leaving the Nine Nether Heaven would rid me of him, but who knew I'd still fall into his trap! Damn it!"

"Hmph, if this bastard wanted to kill me, he would have used his killing move long ago. Did he think I didn't know?" Feeling the wind around him, Mo Bai's face was gloomy. "With such heavy rain and wind, the base must have taken in a lot of rainwater!"

Suddenly, Mo Bai stopped in his tracks, his gaze turning icy. "So that's how it is! The Nine Nether Heavenly Emperor's goal was to leave the demon race with no way out, trapping them in the base and forcing them to their doom! And he was just trying to delay my return!"

Mo Bai gritted his teeth, "Damn it! Controlling everything in the Nine Netherworld wasn't enough, they had to come up here to help the Demon Clan wreak havoc on the Monster Clan!"

Without further delay, they rushed towards the demon clan's base.

Meanwhile, Gu Liyan had already arrived at the entrance to the demon clan base.

When he looked at the waterfall that was originally flowing smoothly down, he froze on the spot. He saw that the waterfall water was enveloped by a gust of wind and was flowing into the cave in a strange direction.

"What's going on?" Gu Liyan's eyes widened. Suddenly, screams and frantic footsteps echoed from inside the cave, along with cries for help.

Gu Liyan came to her senses and wanted to rush in to save the people, but the gust of wind was like an unshakeable fence, blocking the entrance to the cave.

"There's no other way. I can only freeze it with the power of Xuanbing and then break it to get in." Gu Liyan frowned as he thought, raising his hand to circulate the Xuanbing power within his body. Instantly, the surrounding rainwater turned into snowflakes and fell down, and the original waterfall and spring water gradually turned into ice crystals.

Just as success seemed imminent, countless torrents of water suddenly cascaded down from the source of the waterfall, directly interrupting Gu Liyan's spell...

All their efforts were in vain. The heavy rain continued to fall, and the cascading water swept Gu Liyan and him into the pool.

Gu Liyan swallowed a lot of water underwater and was swept to the bottom of the pool by the current. A feeling of suffocation made him extremely uncomfortable. No matter how hard he struggled, he couldn't climb out of the water.

Just as he was feeling dizzy from suffocation, a hand pulled him out of the pool. Gu Liyan gasped for air, but the torrential rain made it impossible for him to open his eyes.

"Are you planning to swim in the pool?!" A familiar voice came from above.

Gu Liyan wiped the rain off his face before he could see who it was. "Mo, Mo Chen!" The person was none other than Mo Chen, who had slipped away from under Cang Mu's nose first.

Mo Chen smiled slightly and extended his right hand to Gu Liyan. "I knew you would come back if you noticed the unusual weather!"

Gu Liyan smiled, took his hand and stood up. "I saw you looking for me, but by the time I wanted to catch up with you, it was too late."

"I got lost on the way back because of the heavy rain." Mo Chen scratched his head awkwardly. "Luckily, I met a guy with a fan who reminded me, otherwise I would have strayed even further from the way home!"

"A fan?!" Gu Liyan thought to herself: Could it be another Mo Chen? What a coincidence that Mo Chen bumped into Mo Chen!

"Yes, but it's a pity he was in a hurry and was far away from me, so I didn't get a good look at him. Otherwise, I should have thanked him properly." Mo Chen said earnestly.

Gu Liyan smiled and said, "No need to rush, we'll meet when the time is right!"

But in his heart he thought, "Actually, you saw him when you looked in the mirror!"
