The car stopped in front of the Crown Villa. Gu Liyan woke up at that time, seemingly unaware that he had slept with Hua Baixian as his pillow the whole way, and even said to himself, "We're here so quickly?"

Mo Chen smiled and said, "Yes, because you were injured, I deliberately drove slower."

For some reason, Gu Liyan glared at Mo Chen in annoyance, got up and got out of the car, and didn't look at Hua Baixian in the car again.

Mo Chen smiled and said to Hua Baixian, "You go in with him. I live in another courtyard."

Watching their retreating figures, Mo Chen couldn't help but laugh out loud and said to the driver, "Let's go home."

Gu Liyan walked into the villa and lay down directly on the sofa, looking exhausted.

Seeing that Gu Liyan's head wound was still bleeding, Hua Baixian asked anxiously, "Where is the first-aid kit? Let me treat your wound."

Gu Liyan glanced at her, then weakly pointed to the bookshelf beside him, where many uncovered diaries were scattered on top, and a first-aid kit was placed below.

Hua Baixian ran over, picked up the first-aid kit, and ran back to Gu Liyan. Looking at his flawless face covered in scars, Hua Baixian felt a pang of heartache. "Don't block my way next time. I can take care of that kind of person in a minute!"

Gu Liyan frowned as he looked at Hua Baixian, his expression unfriendly and seemingly somewhat angry.

Hua Baixian spoke weakly, "I... I was just worried about you..."

Upon hearing this, Gu Liyan relaxed his brows and said calmly, "Don't worry."

Seeing Gu Liyan's cold tone, Hua Baixian didn't dare to say anything more. She was already lucky to have found him; she couldn't make him angry, and she couldn't let him dislike her...

"I'm tired and don't want to move. I'll sleep here tonight. You can go upstairs to sleep." Gu Liyan said, then lay down and closed her eyes.

Seeing that Gu Liyan was no longer paying attention to her, Hua Baixian felt a little wronged but dared not say anything. After thinking for a moment, Hua Baixian got up and went upstairs to the second floor.

Gu Liyan heard Hua Baixian go upstairs and was about to get up to check on her when she came back downstairs. He quickly lay back down and pretended to be asleep again.

Hua Baixian brought a quilt to cover Gu Liyan, spread out another quilt, lay down, and fell asleep next to Gu Liyan.

Gu Liyan frowned and asked, "Why don't you go upstairs to sleep?"

Hua Baixian looked up at Gu Liyan's displeased expression and hurriedly explained, "I... I was just worried that your wound would hurt in the middle of the night, so I could take care of you if I slept here..."

Gu Liyan looked at Hua Baixian silently without any sign of complaint, and gently said, "Come to work with me tomorrow and be my private doctor."

Hua Baixian smiled happily and nodded, "Yes! Okay!"

"So you'd better get some rest. If anything goes wrong tomorrow, I'll fire you immediately!" Gu Liyan revealed a sly smile.

Hua Baixian asked timidly, "Can't I sleep here?"

"No way! Go sleep upstairs!" Gu Liyan said irritably.

"Oh..." Hua Baixian got up and prepared to go upstairs.

"Come back!" Gu Liyan said irritably.

"Huh?" Hua Baixian looked at Gu Liyan with a puzzled expression.

"Take the blankets and go upstairs!"

Watching Hua Baixian carry the blanket upstairs, Gu Liyan finally breathed a sigh of relief. "That silly girl..."

The next morning, Hua Baixian was still having a sweet dream when her door was kicked open, startling her so much that she jumped up and assumed a defensive stance.

Gu Liyan stood at the door with a cold face and said, "We're at the filming location at 8 o'clock, so hurry up and freshen up!"

Hua Baixian nodded blankly. Gu Liyan glanced at her and urged, "Hurry up!" Then he turned and went downstairs.

Hua Baixian looked up and saw that the alarm clock on the bedside table was pointing to 7 o'clock. She hurriedly got dressed, quickly washed up in the bathroom, and then ran downstairs.

Gu Liyan, dressed in a white suit, was surrounded by a group of people, with six makeup artists recommending hairstyles for him. Seeing someone coming down from upstairs, the six makeup artists simultaneously stopped what they were doing and stared blankly at Hua Baixian.

Gu Liyan frowned and asked, "You're dressed like this?"

Hua Baixian looked at the glamorous Gu Liyan, then looked at herself and lowered her head weakly, "I... I only have this one outfit."

"You guys don't need to worry about me, just tidy her up." Gu Liyan specifically instructed, "She doesn't need to be too stunning!"

Five makeup artists surrounded Hua Baixian. Hua Baixian noticed that the makeup artist left by Gu Liyan was a very familiar face. She was noble and aloof, and her eyes were filled with a captivating gaze.

"Brother, you wouldn't find me a sister-in-law overnight, would you?" Gu Muqing asked with a smile.

Gu Liyan glanced at Hua Baixian and said irritably, "You're overthinking it. She's just my personal doctor."

Hua Baixian lowered her head in disappointment upon hearing Gu Liyan's words, remaining silent.

Gu Muqing sneered, "I thought someone had really risen to prominence and gained your approval, brother! Turns out I was mistaken!"

Gu Liyan spoke coldly with a gloomy expression, "Anyone who wants my approval needs to be obedient for life, no one is an exception!"

Upon hearing this, Gu Muqing's expression changed, and she dared not show her arrogant attitude anymore. She spoke gently, "Brother, you haven't had breakfast yet, have you? I'll have someone prepare some."
