It was already the afternoon of the next day when Li Hao got out of bed.

"You're awake." Gu Liyan smiled as she saw Li Hao walk out of the room. "You clearly can't hold your liquor, yet you still drank so much."

Li Hao, rubbing his aching head, said, "It's just because I haven't drunk alcohol in a long time that I'm not that weak."

Gu Liyan smiled and said nothing, then poured Li Hao a cup of tea and handed it to him.

Li Hao took a sip, somewhat surprised. "Huh? Where did this come from? I don't remember having any tea at home."

"This is orange juice, not tea," Hua Baixian said as she came out of the kitchen. "The food is ready, you can eat now."

Gu Liyan and Hua Baixian exchanged a smile and said, "Perhaps it's the sense of kinship that comes from having similar personalities."

"You?" The shopkeeper sized up Li Hao. "You can manage alone?"
