"Hey! You..." Li Jin was startled, not expecting the person in the room to be so frail. He immediately picked up Lin Momo and put her on the bed.

By the moonlight, Li Jin saw Lin Momo's face. Her face was pale and her forehead was covered in sweat. Li Jin subconsciously touched her head and found that it was burning hot.

"Does she have a fever?" Li Jin turned around and closed the window. He glanced at Lin Momo and felt a strange flutter in his heart. This was the first time he had met a girl like this. She didn't beg for mercy at all in the face of danger. Just now, he saw a hint of ruthlessness in her eyes, something he had never seen in any other girl.

Li Jin stroked Lin Momo's face, a wicked smile spreading across his face. "How interesting..."

Lin Momo's eyes gleamed, and she stepped back, cupping Yan Xiyue's face in her hands, and said seriously, "Go back, go back to the Yan family!"

Yan Xiyue was dumbfounded. She doubted whether she had heard correctly, or even more so whether she was dreaming. Otherwise, how could Lin Momo, whom she loved and who loved her, possibly drive her away?

"What did you say?" Yan Xiyue asked, frowning.
