As is customary, a graduation trip is usually taken. But plans can change. Some students haven't graduated yet, others plan to pursue graduate studies, or have already entered the entertainment industry... This delay often lasts a long time, so long that it's never been made up for, and everyone may have even forgotten about it.

After graduation, Jiang Yanmu traveled around alone. First, she went to Liuzhou, a place she hadn't been to before, to eat snail rice noodles. She added almost everything she liked. Knowing her spiciness level, she only added two spoonfuls of chili oil. Rubbing her hands together, she waited for the noodles to arrive. Staring at the snail rice noodles being served, just looking at them made her mouth water. Even with only two spoonfuls, they were already quite red, making them even more appetizing; she was practically drooling. Resisting the drool, she took a few pictures first. Then she started slurping the noodles, "Mmm~ Why are there such delicious things in the world~" These past few days, she'd eaten so much… iced tofu pudding, all kinds of noodles, so chewy and delicious.

At the Jasmine Milk Tea shop, a large cherry blossom-shaped milk tea stand is upside down. The spilled petals, resembling wisteria blossoms, cascade to the ground, surrounded by a cluster of predominantly pink flowers.

I strolled around Yaobu Ancient Town again, especially at night when all sorts of scenery came into view. For example, some of the small pagodas in the temple would light up. Taking photos in ethnic costumes made it even more beautiful. In Xixi Ancient Village, I checked out the wishing tree and its plaque. A sign next to it read, "What wind blew you to Xixi Ancient Village?"

“Let’s make a wish. I’ll be waiting for you at the wishing tree.” Jiang Yanmu took a wishing plaque, wrote a wish on it, touched the words on the plaque, and then carefully hung it up.

Later, they went skiing at Jiaozi Snow Mountain in Yunnan. It was Jiang Yanmu's first time skiing, and she learned from an instructor for three days before she dared to actually start skiing. She fell nine out of ten times, laughing as she fell. Finally, she succeeded, smiling as she took a picture with her phone to commemorate the moment: "First time skiing, success!" While riding the ski lift, Jiang Yanmu kept her eyes closed the entire time. She was so scared that she kept fidgeting with her hands, telling herself, "It's okay, it'll be over soon, it's okay, it's okay." Only when they reached flat ground did Jiang Yanmu dare to open her eyes.

Finally, Iceland became the final destination of the trip.

I'd always seen videos of the aurora borealis, and now I finally had the chance to see it in person. Standing beneath the aurora, looking up at it, the dark green and grassy green blended together—so beautiful!

We saw all sorts of waterfalls. We saw Skóga Falls, bathed in a rainbow, and the Pantheon, illuminated by the sun. We were so engrossed in watching them that we forgot we were soaked from their spray, and lay on the sunlit grass, the water droplets reflecting off our bodies.

Jiang Yanmu loved the quiet town of Vik.

As the sun set, we arrived at the Cathedral of Halgrinmus.

Having rarely seen snow in the south, I was curious to see what it felt like to touch it. I took off my gloves and touched it. "So soft! It feels so nice, just a little cold, haha." I built a snowman in the snow.

[Sigh, I also want to go out and play.jpg]

I'll take you there when I have time off.

I'm going to get busy now.

【Bye-Bye】

After resting for a few days, Jiang Yanmu took her family to visit Emerald Lake, which they had previously agreed to see. Upon seeing the lake, Jiang's mother immediately pulled out her phone and started snapping photos. Even Jiang Nan, who wasn't very good at taking pictures, picked up her phone and took some shots. Although Jiang Yanmu had been there before, she was still amazed by its beauty once again. After visiting Emerald Lake, they went out for a delicious meal… and on the way back, they went for a massage and soaked in the hot springs.

The trip was fun, but after coming back, I was exhausted from all the tidying up and tidying up, so I collapsed onto the bed. I was so tired I fell asleep immediately. When I woke up, my hair was all messed up from sleep, and I went downstairs, still half-asleep. Even though I wasn't fully awake, my hands continued to work on the yogurt bowl. In my dazed state, I accidentally poured the rest of the freeze-dried food into the bowl. I added yogurt first, but couldn't pour it out, so I just kept stirring the freeze-dried food with a spoon. When I couldn't stir it, I just shoved a few mouthfuls into my mouth. I kept adding yogurt, stirring the freeze-dried food, and eating it, until I finally got full.

I took out the medicine box from the cabinet and opened three digestive tablets. Although I couldn't stand this kind, I didn't want to feel terribly uncomfortable, so I had to accept it. So every time I took one, I forced myself to chew it and then gulped down a mouthful of water.

Later, she used the money she had saved during her school years to buy a small apartment and moved out. After moving out, Jiang Yanmu continued writing the stories she had written in junior high school. She even drew some pictures and posted them online. At first, things weren't going well. Gradually, as time went on, more and more people read her work, and she received some manuscripts. Once, when she posted a new chapter, she also included some bonus content in her previously completed story. When she opened the page, she saw that her completed story had over a hundred views and points! Jiang Yanmu was so happy that she grinned like an idiot all day.

Gradually, she signed a contract and became an author. Her clicks, points, and even the number of favorites and readership all began to rise steadily. Comments started appearing as well. When Jiang Yanmu couldn't write, she would occasionally post in the comments section that she couldn't write. Then readers would offer words of comfort, and some would even leave long messages for her story.

Reading it when I'm feeling down always helps me feel better. After that, Jiang Yanmu grew to love writing novels more and more. Initially, it was simply because she wanted to try it out. Now, perhaps it's because she's gradually gaining recognition. Or perhaps it's because after writing for so many years, she's developed a connection with it, treating it like a friend. She's also gradually discovered that she seems to love it even more now than she used to.

Having finally achieved financial independence, Jiang Yanmu had always wanted to buy a cat, but hadn't yet. Then one day, while out looking for inspiration, she wandered into a pet store and unconsciously went inside. The seller picked it out, she bought it, and brought it home.

Buying a cat was something she had planned for a long time. She had loved kittens ever since she first learned about them. After seeing some pictures of kittens Ye Ziyi sent her, she longed even more to finally buy one. And finally, her wish came true.

After picking up her package, Jiang Yanmu was on her way back, unsure what to eat. Suddenly, she saw a newly opened noodle shop across the street. The shop was nearly empty, except for the owner and his partner. As she walked in, she saw someone sitting at an empty counter while someone standing was passionately kissing that person. This scene reminded Jiang Yanmu of something exactly the same thing she had heard in high school.

"Why do I always see this? I want to disappear into the ground. Is it too late to leave now?" Jiang Yanmu wanted to turn around and run away, but the boy sitting on the platform noticed her. She put her arm around him, patted him, and gasped for breath, trying to speak: "Stop kissing me... um, someone's coming, stop it..."

The owner, still seemingly unsatisfied, said, "Okay, let's continue tonight." He calmly picked up the boy, straightened his clothes, and walked towards Jiang Yanmu with the menu, asking, "What would you like to eat?"

Jiang Yanmu gripped the door, forced a smile, and said to the shop owner, "Yes, do you have any recommendations?"

The owner simply handed over the menu coldly and said, "I don't know, see for yourself."

Jiang Yanmu took the menu with a wry smile. "Uh..."

The menu design wasn't done by the owner; the owner only handles that type of menu. It's mostly the guys who do the menu work. The guy came over, smiling, and said, "That's just how he is, don't mind him. The vegetable and beef noodles are pretty good, you can try them."

Thanks to the boy's intervention, Jiang Yanmu breathed a sigh of relief. "Um... this will do, thank you, boss."

The boy pushed the restaurant owner to the kitchen to make noodles, saying, "You scared him."

"I don't"

"You..." Seeing that they remained nonchalant even after she had caught them in the act, Jiang Yanmu was happy that they weren't scared. She also pretended to be just someone who had come to eat noodles.

The boy in "Your Noodles" always speaks with a smile. When he smiles, you can even see his dimples.

"Thanks"

"Phew, delicious~" After eating noodles for a while, I got a little thirsty, but the soup was still very hot. I glanced at the menu and asked, "Boss, do you still have mango pomelo sago?"

The shop owner wasn't sure if there was any left, so he turned to ask the boy, who replied to Jiang Yanmu, "Yes, there is, please wait a moment."

Okay, thank you.

"Did you enjoy the food?"

"I like it, thank you."

"Okay~" The boss stood by the counter, his eyes never leaving the boy the whole time. Jiang Yanmu even felt that the noodles were a little cold, and she secretly glanced at them. "You even eat this vinegar~" The boy flicked the boss's nose.

"What's wrong? Can't you eat?" The shopkeeper's hand wandered inside the boy's clothes, and Jiang Yanmu's mouth, which had been peeking, remained closed. Pretending not to see, she choked on her own food.

As she left, Jiang Yanmu looked at the passing traffic and exclaimed, "This is so nice!" She ordered two cups of milk tea on her phone and asked the delivery guy to deliver them to the two boys at the noodle shop.

"Hello, this is your takeout order."

“We didn’t order anything,” the boy said.

The delivery guy pointed towards the door and said, "It was ordered by a lady just now, and she asked me to pass on a message. She said, 'I wish you happiness.'"

"Thank you" (boy)

The two men, each holding a cup of milk tea, clinked glasses and said to each other, "Wishing you happiness, Mr. Chen."

"Wishing you happiness, Mr. Jiang," said the boss.

Jiang Yanmu sat in a rocking chair, petting Xiao Chu in her lap, and swayed for the entire afternoon. Xiao Chu got hungry and wiggled its bottom. Jiang Yanmu carried Xiao Chu to get some cat food. Then she sat on the carpet, watching Xiao Chu eat without moving. Xiao Chu thought Jiang Yanmu wanted some too, and hesitated for a long time before reluctantly pushing the food in front of Jiang Yanmu. "Meow (You're only allowed a little, no more, meow)"

Jiang Yanmu patted Xiao Chu's head and pushed the bowl back, saying, "I don't want to eat, Xiao Chu."

Xiao Chu happily buried her head and showed off. Jiang Yanmu was a little tired, so she lay down on the carpet, closed her eyes, and fell asleep. After finishing her meal, Xiao Chu wanted some more snacks. She sniffed at Jiang Yanmu and scratched her hand with her paw, but still didn't react.

She jumped onto the computer desk, meowed as she unlocked her phone, found Ye Ziyi's profile picture, pressed the video call button, and dialed. Xiao Chu's entire face was right in front of her. "Xiao Chu!"

"Meow meow meow!" Xiao Chu called out urgently.

Ye Ziyi wasn't on duty today. After receiving a call, he rushed out to Jiang Yanmu's house. Upon entering, he saw Jiang Yanmu lying on the floor and ran over to help her up. Calling Jiang Yanmu's name, "Jiang classmate, Jiang classmate," he felt a burning sensation from her arm as he helped her up. "She has a fever. Xiao Chu, do you know where the first-aid kit is?"

Xiao Chu ran to the cabinet, patted the door, and said, "Here it is, thank you Xiao Chu." She took Jiang Yanmu's temperature, covered her with a blanket, sat down to put the medicine away, and waited for her to wake up and take the medicine. She would touch her forehead from time to time to see if her fever had gone up.

Jiang Yanmu woke up on the sofa and found someone else in her house. Upon closer inspection, she recognized him as Ye Ziyi. Thinking it was a dream, Jiang Yanmu asked in disbelief, "What are you doing here?"

She handed over a glass of cooled cold medicine. "Xiao Chu called, sounding very anxious. I didn't have anything else to do today, so I came over to check on you and found you lying on the floor with a fever again..."

"Um... thank you," Jiang Yanmu replied, taking her medicine. After finishing the medicine, Jiang Yanmu lay back on the sofa and fell asleep. Ye Ziyi cooked some porridge and milk, kept it in a thermos, wrote a note, and left.

After finishing the porridge Ye Ziyi had cooked, Jiang Yanmu took the cooled milk and walked to a spot about an arm's length away to look at the view from the floor-to-ceiling window. Xiao Chu came over and rubbed against Jiang Yanmu's legs. After finishing her drink, Jiang Yanmu returned to her computer desk to start typing, and Xiao Chu jumped up after her. It brushed Jiang Yanmu's hand with its tail; a single brush told Jiang Yanmu that Xiao Chu wanted to watch its cartoon. Jiang Yanmu took the tablet, opened the Ye Luoli cartoon, arranged it, and showed it to Xiao Chu, saying, "Xiao Chu, this is your favorite Ye Luoli."

"Meow~" Xiao Chu watched happily, wagging her tail.

Jiang Yanmu focused on her writing, and once she was almost finished, she started reading along with Xiao Chu. She had originally planned to take Xiao Chu to the pet store for a bath now, but her period had suddenly started, causing a severe stomachache, so they couldn't go. She messaged the pet store owner: "Sorry, boss, I probably can't come now. Could we postpone it to the afternoon?"

Sure, just send me a message when the time comes.

After sending the message, Jiang Yanmu quickly lay down on the bed, covering her stomach with the blanket. Feeling sleepy, she slept until 1 PM. She took Xiao Chu to the pet store for a bath, picking out some kitten toys herself; she bought everything that looked cute. "Your cat."

"Thanks"

Back home, Jiang Yanmu took Xiao Chu out of her cage and sniffed her for a full hour, exclaiming, "So fragrant~ Xiao Chu, you're just a sweet and soft little kitten cake~"

"Meow (I'm going to get sucked bald!)" Xiao Chu kicked her short legs hard, trying to protest, and thankfully succeeded. The cat poked its head out from Xiao Chu's body, saw the way Xiao Chu was kicking, and laughed, putting Xiao Chu down as it did so. Before it could even pet her head again, the cat had already run away.

I jumped up from the chair and rummaged through the kitchen cabinets for anything edible. I made some fried chicken, washed some mung beans, red dates, taro, and prepared some purple sweet potato powder and sugar... to make mung bean soup and taro cake. I can eat them when I get hungry in the middle of the night. I got some cat food for Xiao Chu, and also put out two cat-shaped treats and some cooled boiled water.

Jiang Yanmu brought out fried chicken, and Xiao Chu, drawn by the aroma, came over. It kept barking at the table. Jiang Yanmu covered Xiao Chu's mouth, saying, "You can't eat it, Xiao Chu, it'll bite you." Jiang Yanmu stretched out her hand, made a "seven" gesture, and lightly pinched Xiao Chu's cheek to scare it. Xiao Chu jumped down in fright, taking a bite of food to calm itself. Jiang Yanmu covered her mouth and chuckled, but Xiao Chu heard the sound. It looked up, staring at Jiang Yanmu with its big eyes, warning her not to laugh. Jiang Yanmu immediately stopped, pretending nothing had happened, and continued eating the fried chicken.

The next day, it rained heavily outside. Jiang Yanmu disliked rainy days because they were stuffy and smelled like clothes that hadn't dried properly. Looking at the rain outside the window, she started to feel sleepy and fell asleep at her computer desk. In her dream, Jiang Yanmu went to the coffee shop where she usually wrote, this time with Xiao Chu by her side. This coffee shop allowed cats, as long as they didn't run around.

Holding Xiao Chu, he kept instructing her, "Xiao Chu, your current activity area is only me and the cage. You can't run around anywhere else. If you run around, I won't take you to places with lots of other children, and I might even castrate you. Really, I'm not kidding."

Xiao Chu flinched in fright and meowed, "Meow (I know)." Xiao Chu was unusually well-behaved, sitting still only because she wanted to play with the other children and wasn't afraid of being castrated. Jiang Yanmu patted Xiao Chu's head with satisfaction, "Good Xiao Chu."

Jiang Yanmu put away her notebook, preparing to take Xiao Chu to the cat café, when it started raining as soon as she stepped outside. She could only run to the outside of the pet shop to take shelter from the rain, feeling embarrassed to go in and disturb them, so she stood outside. The owner saw her and called her in, so Jiang Yanmu went inside. "What's wrong?"

"I was originally going to take Xiao Chu to the cat cafe, but it suddenly started raining. I thought I could wait a bit before leaving, but the rain just got heavier and heavier, so I might have to stay with you a little longer."

"No trouble at all," the shopkeeper said with a smile to Jiang Yanmu as he sorted through the items.

After releasing Xiao Chu, she answered a phone call. "Hello?"

"Jiang, I just saw you. Where are you going? I'll give you a ride."

"Thank you for your help. I'll come out and find you."

"No need, I know where you are." The voice on the phone overlapped with the voice on the screen. "I've found you."

Ye Ziyi picked up the cage and held an umbrella. Jiang Yanmu, carrying Xiao Chu, ran under the umbrella. The two walked towards the car, and Ye Ziyi moved the umbrella closer to Jiang Yanmu, saying, "You're wet."

"It's okay, I'm fine getting wet, you're still..."

"What?" Jiang Yanmu couldn't hear what Ye Ziyi said afterward, and she was getting further and further away from him. "What did you say, Ye? I didn't hear you..." The dream shattered, and fragments floated in front of Jiang Yanmu. Their reunion after high school graduation was that day in the park. Jiang Yanmu was strolling in the park when she saw Ye Ziyi performing CPR on an elderly man. She simply stood far away in the inconspicuous crowd, watching him leave with the ambulance. He didn't know they had met again; only Jiang Yanmu knew...

On Fu Yanjin's birthday, she "reunited" with Ye Ziyi, but he didn't come. She only gave the gift to Shen Kuo, asking him to help deliver it to Fu Yanjin.

He helped find evidence and hired a lawyer. Ye Ziyi took him home, and after giving him the address, the two of them didn't say another word.

Jiang Yanmu accompanied Fu Yanjin shopping to buy a gift for Shen Kuo's sister, until her heels were blistered. She waited a long time for a bus alone to get to the hospital. She didn't run into Ye Ziyi's mother, nor did she receive any invitations to dinner, soup deliveries, toys, or sandwiches. She only learned when she arrived that Ye Ziyi worked at that hospital. He had originally come to apply medicine, but a surgery suddenly started, so he had a nurse do it for him.

Even when she was hospitalized again later, she only told the nurses about the situation when she called. Ye Ziyi didn't come to her house; other doctors performed the surgery on Jiang Yanmu. Fu Yanjin was the one who fed her water, showed concern, and waited for her to wake up.

He was by the lake, but neither Ye Ziyi nor Ye Ziyi was invited in for a drink.

When they went to the supermarket, only Jiang Yan and Mu Huan heard Ye Ziyi calling her; in reality, they didn't actually meet him.

On the eve of the Lunar New Year, they gathered for hot pot. Jiang Yanmu hadn't brought any digestive aids and felt unwell from overeating, so Fu Yanjin asked Wen Yan to take her home. Ye Ziyi received a call from the hospital, explained the situation to everyone, and then left without knowing who took Jiang Yanmu home. The takeout was ordered on the way home by Wen Yan, along with the digestive aids.

As she entered, her foot suddenly missed a step, jolting her awake from her computer desk. She wiped away the tears streaming down her face. Picking up her phone, she opened the page she had just turned off; it was still stuck on the message, "I actually have someone I like." What did that mean? Nobody knew. Jiang Yanmu didn't want to know anymore. She stood with her arms crossed by the floor-to-ceiling window, gazing at the sunset. "So beautiful."

Jiang Yanmu's affections remained unknown to anyone.
