◎Thank you, boss◎

When Liang Beihai went to work on her first day, Luo was not there, and she breathed a sigh of relief.

Zhang Xin took her to find a young man and briefly explained the work to him. The young man was from N country, only a few years older than Liang Beihai. He did not have the particularly strict etiquette of the N country people, so he asked Liang Beihai to just call him Xiaolin.

After knowing that Liang Beihai was Chinese, he even told Liang Beihai his Chinese name. Liang Beihai then knew that Kobayashi had spent a year as an exchange student at Liang Beihai's university during his college years. Liang Beihai found it amazing.

Liang Beihai's art university offers many disciplines, but the two of them met because they had the same goal and ended up working in the same department of the same company. They both lamented about the difficulties of their major and the dim future.

Xiaolin looked around and confirmed that Luo was not there, and no one noticed that the two of them were communicating about work.

"Were you also recruited because of S University? Actually, there were a few other people who interviewed with me, and I wasn't the best. Later, I heard from them that Luo chose me because I was an exchange student at S University. He seemed to be very interested in people with S University affiliations. They said Luo is very picky, especially when recruiting designers, and he has to personally check them out. Luckily, I was lucky."

Liang Beihai was slightly stunned, not knowing what to say. If it was before the two of them talked about it, she could probably frankly say that she probably gave me a part-time job because she was poor.

After thinking about it, she told Xiaolin that they probably wanted to motivate you to work hard, and this might just be a rhetoric, so don't think too much about it.

Luo didn't want to embarrass Liang Beihai, and was afraid that she would be stubborn and feel uncomfortable in the company, so he simply didn't come to work after the first day. So he didn't go to work and worked at home.

Watching the surveillance footage in the office lobby through their mobile phones, Liang Beihai and Xiaolin talked about something together.

Seeing that she didn't feel awkward at all and didn't seem to remember him, he took out his cell phone and sent a message to Zhang Xin, asking her to send Liang Beihai's work schedule and the address of Liang Beihai's welcome party today, and told her not to tell anyone that he was coming.

After dinner, when we moved to the karaoke room, Luo was already in the private room. When he saw everyone coming in, he stood up from the sofa and walked to the door to make room.

Everyone was familiar with Luo De. Luo De was a nice guy even when he was not at work, so no one paid much attention to him. Only Liang Beihai, who came in slowly behind, felt a little emotional when he noticed Luo De's presence.

Although it was good that he didn't feel awkward not seeing Luo at work, Liang Beihai also felt a little uncomfortable because he couldn't see him. He couldn't tell what he felt.

Maybe she was still subconsciously looking forward to seeing Luo. Thinking of this, she sighed quietly in her heart.

Because they were the last ones to come in, only seats at the edge were left, so Liang Beihai sat down next to Xiaolin. Thinking that Luo might sit next to him in a while, he asked Xiaolin to change seats.

Xiaolin refused bluntly. Liang Beihai was afraid that Xiaolin would think he was harassing him and so he did not dare to ask again, so he sat down with gritted teeth.

Luo didn't sit down directly, but pressed the pager on the wall to ask the waiter to come over to take the order. Seeing Liang Beihai talking to Xiaolin again, he called Liang Beihai and signaled the karaoke machine for her to come over to order songs.

Liang Beihai and Luo passed each other, and Luo walked over and sat next to Xiaolin at Liang Beihai's seat. He passed the menu around to everyone to see what to drink, and he didn't show any intention of getting up to change seats.

After Liang Beihai ordered the songs, he let other colleagues order. He really wanted to sit in other empty seats, but as a newcomer he was afraid of affecting the original seating arrangement, so he sat next to Luo.

Luo turned his head and asked her, "I ordered French fries and fried chicken. Do you want anything to drink?"

Before Liang Beihai could reply, Luo De added smugly, "Forget about the wine, you only have that much. The orange juice here is good, you can try it first."

Liang Beihai glared at him and wanted to elbow him, but he didn't attack because there were so many people around.

"Thank you, boss. I'm a regular customer, so I'll drink whatever you recommend."

"I only come occasionally for company team-building events. If you want to come for future team-building events, you can be a regular."

"Who asked you?"

"you."

Liang Beihai wanted to refute but the waiter came in and took away the menu, so he didn't continue arguing with Luo.

Liang Beihai hadn't necessarily heard all the songs her colleagues had ordered, so she hummed along quietly. She had chosen a few songs of her own that were neither good nor bad. Luo De kept looking at her while Liang Beihai sang, and Liang Beihai tried to ignore Luo De's gaze and finished the song calmly.

Liang Beihai checked the time to make sure that he would not be forgotten by everyone because he went to the bathroom when the room time was up, so he got up and went to the bathroom.

When she stood up, Luo didn't ask her, so she didn't say anything extra.

Liang Beihai kept thinking in the bathroom that she must not forget herself. She didn't want to walk to the station alone in an unfamiliar place, so she wanted to get out quickly.

After washing his hands, Liang Beihai thought about going to the self-service machine to get some ice cream. He didn't have to go into the private room and could observe everyone's situation so as not to be left behind.

As soon as I turned the corner, I saw Luo's stick there.

"I thought you slipped away early."

"How is that possible? Don't slander me."

"How is this slander? It's normal to leave early. Do you want to go? I'll take you back." Luo Di stretched out his hand to her, and Liang Beihai realized that his bag had been taken out by Luo Di.

"Bag thief."

"Nonsense."

Luo extended his time and paid the bill at the front desk, and probably explained everything to his colleagues, and then the two of them walked out of the store one after the other.

Stopping downstairs, Luo asked her, "How did you get here?"

"Huh? Oh, take the tram. Let's go to the station now."

This street was some distance from the main road near the station, the lights weren't very bright, and there were touts from various shops wandering around. Feeling insecure, Liang Beihai subconsciously leaned towards Luo, their shoulders bumping from time to time.

As they approached the last alley on the main road, Luo asked, "Beibei, do you want to smoke?"

"There's a smoking room nearby. I didn't notice it when I came here." Liang Beihai looked around and wanted to go to the alley to smoke, but he was afraid that Luo would say he was unruly.

Being alone with Luo made Liang Beihai a little nervous, because she was not sure whether Luo planned to take her to the station or home. She was confused and didn't know how to ask.

"You smoke at the back door of the convenience store every day, and now you're being particular."

The two walked towards the alley, and Liang Beihai wanted Luo to hand him the bag so that he could take the cigarettes and lighter inside.

When their eyes met at the alley, no one spoke.

Oh, he doesn't want to smoke. Liang Beihai thought so while looking into Luo's eyes, he pulled Luo's shirt to make him lower his head, then he gently stood on tiptoe and kissed the corner of his mouth.

Liang Beihai kissed her once and it was over. Not knowing how to react, she tilted her head as if to provoke him. Luo chuckled, protected Liang Beihai's head with her right hand, and put her waist with her left hand, pushing her against the wall and kissing her.

Liang Beihai's mind was blank. All she could hear was her own pounding heartbeat, the occasional calls of soliciting customers around her, and Luo's breathing. All the sounds passed through her brain, but she couldn't process the information.

"Breathe." Luo reminded her.

She opened her mouth slightly, and Luo's tongue slipped in. Liang Beihai realized that she had to breathe through her nose, her legs were a little weak, and she grabbed Luo's waist with both hands, supporting her body with Luo's hands on her waist.

Feeling the heat coming from Luo's body with his hands, Liang Beihai had given up thinking about anything else.
