Gu Xingyuan silently shut his mouth and lowered his head to stare at the tips of his shoes without saying a word.

Damn it, why does nobody understand his humor!

Fortunately, they arrived at the sixteenth floor quickly, and the two of them no longer had to be mute in the elevator.

Gu Xingyuan was very familiar with Shen Jiazhou's office. He greeted Lin Yan along the way. Seeing that Miao Yi's workstation was empty, he asked, "Hmm? Why isn't our Ms. Miao here today? It feels strange."

Lin Yan said, "Xiao Miao has something to do these past two days and is taking a break."

Gu Xingyuan asked casually, and Shen Jiazhou answered with an "oh" before going to open his office.

Wen Shuqiao followed behind him, nodded slightly to Lin Yan as a greeting, and then went inside as well.

His voice immediately caught Can Can's attention. He finally looked up from the tablet and his eyes lit up when he saw the person at the door. He immediately stopped watching the cartoon and struggled to get down from Shen Jia Zhou's arms.

Shen Jiazhou slightly moved the chair back and placed him on the ground, saying helplessly, "Slow down."

Can Can didn't listen at all; as soon as she stood still, she ran towards the door.

A smile appeared on Gu Xingyuan's face, and he even squatted down, opened his arms, and made a hugging gesture.

A hint of confusion appeared on Can Can's happy face, but she didn't stop walking. However, just before passing Gu Xingyuan, she deliberately went to the side to avoid bumping into Uncle Xingyuan, and finally happily jumped into Wen Shuqiao's arms.

"Auntie! You've come to pick me up!"

Wen Shuqiao patted his head: "Did you listen to your uncle?"

"Listen! My uncle made me beef for lunch today! It was so delicious!" Can Can thought for a moment and added, "He also ate vegetables!"

Shen Jiazhou sat motionless in his chair. When he heard Can Can say that, he simply looked up and added, "After eating one broccoli, he just doesn't want to eat any more."

Can Can buried his face in Wen Shu Qiao's stomach. When he heard his uncle say that, he angrily raised his head. He looked at his uncle with frustration. Didn't we agree not to tattle?

Can Can snorted. When he grows up, he'll make sure his uncle eats broccoli! He'll eat the meat himself!

Good Egg gets bullied by his uncle, so he decides to be the bad guy and bully his uncle in return!

Shen Jiazhou glanced at Gu Xingyuan, who was still squatting on the ground, and asked, "Are you squatting there watching ants?"

Gu Xingyuan then stood up, somewhat awkwardly tugging at his clothes. He had thought Cancan would be happy to see him, but it turned out he had been delusional.

And they were even watched by Shen Jiazhou and Wen Shuqiao!

Damn it, even a person made of iron can get hurt! He was even a little afraid to turn around right now!

He! He's broken!

Wen Shuqiao patted Cancan's shoulder and quietly pointed to Gu Xingyuan's back. Cancan hesitated for a moment, then let go of her aunt and walked towards Gu Xingyuan with her hands in her pockets.

He walked up to Gu Xingyuan, looked up and said, "Uncle Xingyuan."

She then opened her arms and hugged his leg: "Have you eaten?"

Gu Xingyuan's lips curled up. He bent down and picked up Cancan, letting him sit in his arms: "Uncle has eaten, and Uncle also brought some delicious egg tarts for Xiaobao. Do you want some?"

With her other hand, Can Can shook the box she had brought and nodded: "I want to eat, but I'm full now. Can I eat later?"

Gu Xingyuan felt his heart melt: "Of course! It's for Xiaobao. Xiaobao can eat it whenever he wants!"

My goodness, how can there be such a lovely, thoughtful and charming child in this world!

Can I steal it? Can I steal it?

Gu Xingyuan carried him to the sofa. Wen Shuqiao wanted to go over too, but Shen Jiazhou said, "Wen Shuqiao, come here."

Wen Shuqiao glanced at Cancan, then walked towards her desk, but Shen Jiazhou gestured for her to come to his side.

Wen Shuqiao went in, and Shen Jiazhou opened the email that Lin Yan had sent. He said, "Su Sisi is at A University these two days. She should be retaking her studies. She has a class this afternoon."

She bent slightly to look at the computer screen. In just one morning, Shen Jiazhou had already had someone investigate Su Sisi's recent movements.

Shen Jiazhou didn't hear her reply, so he looked up and asked, "Why aren't you saying anything?"

Wen Shuqiao happened to be looking at him as well, and the two of them were already quite close because they were looking at the same electronic screen. When their eyes met, Shen Jiazhou's eyelashes trembled slightly for some reason, so quickly that no one noticed.

He was the first to look away and refocus his gaze on the computer screen, breaking the strange atmosphere.

Wen Shuqiao didn't notice his strange reaction. She straightened up and then said, "I was just thinking."

Shen Jiazhou nodded in confusion, then couldn't help but look at her again.

Wen Shuqiao asked, "How many days did you spend investigating me?"

Shen Jiazhou pursed his lips slightly, silently scrolling through his mouse for a while before asking, "Su Sisi, what are your thoughts?"

Wen Shuqiao had only asked him with a bad intention, not expecting an answer. When she heard Shen Jiazhou change the subject, she casually said, "I'll go find her later, just in case something goes wrong."
