Chapter 25 Aunt...I'm sorry

Inside the convenience store, Canbao's small figure moved between the shelves. He remembered that it was on the innermost shelf.

He looked up and around, trying to find the packaging for that particular product. It was as if Canbao had circled around inside countless times before finally finding it.

The problem was that the position was quite high, and he couldn't reach it even when he stood on tiptoe.

what to do?

Canbao looked around, but there were no small stools he could stand on. He looked up at the one that was still a head away from him.

My aunt said we could ask the shop assistant for help, even though it was the shop assistant who was the male one today.

He silently encouraged himself several times, and was about to go back to find the shop assistant when a huge uncle stood next to him.

The man smiled and asked, "What would you like to eat?"

Canbao took a step back, becoming more wary and alert; he was somewhat afraid.

But the uncle smiled and said, "Little friend, uncle can help you carry it."

Canbao hesitated for a moment before mustering up her courage and asking, "Uncle, can you help me carry this?"

The uncle said, "Of course, which one do you want?"

Can Can felt a little relieved after receiving a response. He pointed to the bag and said, "Thank you, Uncle."

My aunt said that we should be polite and say thank you when we receive help from others!

The man didn't hand it to him immediately, but bent down and said, "This is a bit heavy, how about I help you carry it to the front?"

Canbao nodded and said softly, "Okay!"

The man smiled at him. "Good boy, these past few days of waiting haven't been in vain. You've finally gotten to be alone."

Given his appearance and the fact that he's a boy, he looks like he could fetch a good price.

The man squatted down: "Little friend, you're walking too slowly. Shall I carry you across?"

Can Can shook her head: "Thank you, Uncle, I can walk by myself."

The man ignored him and forcefully picked him up. Just as Canbao was about to throw a tantrum, the man quickly walked towards the cashier and then said to Canbao, "See, aren't you walking fast? You've been out for so long, Mommy was getting worried. Do you really want Mommy to worry?"

Can Can was momentarily confused by his rapid speech. "Mom?"

Hasn't Mom already gone to heaven to wait for her baby?

"Mom?" Canbao asked blankly.

The man smiled and said, "Oh, right, let's buy some candy and go find Mommy!"

After seeing the customer off, Wen Shuqiao's gaze lingered on the convenience store entrance. For some reason, she felt a vague unease.

How long has it been since Chan-bo left? Why hasn't he come back yet?

Wen Shuqiao turned her head and said, "Sister, can you watch the shop for me? I'm going to check on Canbao."

There wasn't much of a rush right now, and there were still about ten minutes before the customers finished get off work. Sister Qin said, "Okay, go ahead."

Although she says she wants her child to grow up and be independent, she still can't help but pay attention to her child. Sister Qin can relate to this.

Wen Shuqiao untied her apron and hung it on the hook, then strode towards the convenience store.

Just as they were about to reach the convenience store, they saw Canbao being led out of the store by a burly man, and Wen Shuqiao's alarm bells went off.

I've never seen this man before, and his appearance makes Wen Shuqiao very uncomfortable.

Wen Shuqiao ran over quickly and called out loudly, "Cancan!"

Can Can heard his aunt's voice and was about to turn around when he found himself being carried away. He cried out, "I don't want my mom, I want my aunt! I want my aunt!"

As danger loomed, the child became very uncontrollable, started crying and screaming, and even tried to hit the man with his weapon.

"Damn it!" the man cursed, ignoring Can Can's attack, and ran wildly towards the van parked by the roadside while tightly holding him.

Wen Shuqiao also noticed the van that had already started moving, and her anxiety instantly surged. She absolutely couldn't let him get into that van!

Can Can was completely terrified, her eyes brimming with tears as she looked at Wen Shu Qiao and cried out, "Auntie, Auntie!"

Wen Shuqiao had a sudden inspiration and quickly made a gesture to Cancan. The next second, Cancan immediately opened her mouth and, like a puppy, bit the man's ear tightly.

"Ah!" The man screamed in pain. The pain clearly slowed his movements; he instinctively wanted to let go of Can Can, but ultimately restrained himself. Taking advantage of this opening, Wen Shuqiao caught up with him. She reached out and grabbed his clothes tightly, and with a strength she didn't know she possessed, her other hand instantly climbed up his neck, using her own weight to make him fall backward, while simultaneously extending a leg and kicking him directly in the back of the knee.

The man's ear was still being bitten, and he was completely restrained, though his arms loosened a little. Just then, Wen Shuqiao grabbed Canbao's clothes and snatched the child from the man's hands.

As soon as Can Can was in her aunt's arms, she hugged him tightly. The man, no longer caring about taking the child, was about to run away when he was kicked in the groin.

He screamed in pain as he was kicked in the waist. He lost his balance and fell forward to the ground.

With a cold face, Wen Shuqiao stomped hard on his stomach, making the man's face turn red.

The woman's movements were faster, more precise, and more ruthless than he had imagined; he, a grown man, had absolutely no chance to retaliate!

Their commotion clearly attracted the attention of people around them. Wen Shuqiao and Cancan had been setting up a stall here for the past two days, and many people recognized them.

The security guards nearby rushed over quickly, and the accomplices in the van, seeing that something was wrong, decisively released the handbrake and were about to drive away when a black sedan came crashing into them.

Not only that, but there were also cars behind him and on his sides, completely blocking his way.
