The next day.

Wen Shuqiao felt something moving around in her arms. She opened her eyes groggily and saw that Can Can had woken up at some point and snuggled into her arms.

He had been watching Wen Shuqiao intently, and when she opened her eyes, he said expectantly, "Auntie~"

Wen Shuqiao got up early today and cooked two bowls of egg noodles at home. After eating and changing her clothes, she was ready to leave.

Can Can looked at the eggs in the bowl and asked, "Auntie, if I don't eat eggs, give them to Miao Miao and Wang Wang."

Wen Shuqiao said, "No, they can't eat these yet. Baby should eat by himself."

Can Can swallowed hard as she looked at the golden egg, and finally asked, "Why?"

The vet did a preliminary check-up and found that these were all minor issues common to stray cats and dogs. He said that giving them some medicine would help them get better in a few days.

After hearing that the cat and dog were alright, Can Can felt relieved. Once she felt relieved, she couldn't help but want to hide behind Wen Shu Qiao.

Wen Shuqiao pretended not to see his little trick and said, "Why don't you sit here and wait? I'll go pay the bill."
