It's the fifth day.

It's been five days, and they still have no clue.

The system seemed to have never existed; it was impossible to find or contact it.

Wen Shuqiao took a slow, deep breath and pinched Can Can's little face: "Auntie and Uncle aren't upset, they're just tired from all the work lately. Did they scare you?"

Can Can buried her face in her arms and said in a sticky voice, "No, I just didn't want you to be unhappy."

Shen Jiazhou stared at him for a few seconds, then turned his face away to compose himself.

Wen Shuqiao patted his head: "Okay, let's both be happier, okay? This weekend..."

She paused for a moment. This Saturday would be the tenth day.

Wen Shuqiao took a deep breath: "How about your aunt and uncle take you out for a spring outing this weekend?"

"Okay." Cancan showed her face again, a happy smile on her face: "I like going out with you guys."

Wen Shuqiao helped him up: "Auntie kisses baby."

Can Can was incredibly proactive and leaned her face in for a kiss.

Wen Shuqiao cupped his face and kissed him several times. Cancan became a little shy and buried his face in Wen Shuqiao's shoulder.

Shen Jiazhou chuckled lightly: "Promising."

However, this scene felt strangely familiar. The cake on the ground rubbed against his trouser leg again. Shen Jiazhou lowered his eyes and focused his gaze on it. Recently, the cake had become cute and affectionate, just like Can Can.

Can Can hummed twice and said, "Uncle, give me a kiss too."

Shen Jiazhou snapped out of his daze, turned his face to the side, and deliberately said, "No."

Can Can insisted on being kissed, propping her neck up to him: "Hurry up and kiss me, or I won't let you kiss me anymore."

"You little brat, you're threatening me now, aren't you?" Shen Jiazhou crossed his arms. "Then I won't kiss you anymore."

He leaned back on the sofa, deliberately drawing out the last syllable: "From now on, I'll only kiss my aunt, milk, and cake, but I won't kiss you."

"No!" Can Can climbed out of Wen Shu Qiao's arms and immediately fell heavily onto Shen Jia Zhou.

Shen Jiazhou was startled and quickly reached out to catch him.

Can Can looked at her uncle with a serious expression and said, "If you don't kiss me, I won't love you anymore."

Shen Jiazhou clicked his tongue lightly: "Where did you learn such saccharine words all day long?"

However, I still went over to try and fulfill the little one's wish, but as soon as I got close, Can Can stubbornly turned her face away.

"I don't want you to kiss me!" Can Can was getting angry. He didn't want his uncle to kiss him. Who wanted his uncle to kiss him?

His eyes were brimming with tears, and he wiped them away with his arm, stubbornly saying, "Anyway, you don't love me anymore!"

Shen Jiazhou exclaimed "Oh dear!" and then realized he was in a hurry: "Uncle was just teasing you. When did Uncle ever say he didn't love you?"

He looked at Wen Shuqiao somewhat guiltily, hoping to receive help from a kind person.

But Wen Shuqiao simply leaned back on the sofa, tilting her head to look at them, showing no intention of intervening.

You made the trouble yourself, so you're responsible for making things better.

Shen Jiazhou had no choice but to pick him up and stand up, then lifted him up a little higher: "If your uncle didn't love you, he wouldn't have picked you up. Have you ever picked up any other children?"

Can Can still angrily turned her face to one side: "Maybe you'll hug other kids tomorrow."

"No." Shen Jiazhou hugged him again and lifted him up: "Uncle won't hug other children. Uncle only loves you."

Can Can softened a bit, and Shen Jia Zhou seized the opportunity, saying, "Want to touch the lamp? How about your uncle lifts you up and lets you touch the lamp?"

Can Can tilted her head back, looked at the main light in the living room, twirled her ten little fingers, and finally said with feigned modesty, "Then, then let me touch it."

You can't usually touch it.

Shen Jiazhou carried him to the lamp. Wen Shuqiao saw this and got up as well, following them and standing beside them to prevent Cancan from accidentally falling.

Fortunately, Shen Jiazhou's muscles weren't built for nothing. Although Cancan was a bit heavy, he still managed to lift him up steadily. Cancan exclaimed "Wow!" and reached out to touch the light, then quickly pulled his hand back, looking miserable: "It's so hot!"

My fingers are burning hot!

Shen Jiazhou couldn't help but laugh, but quickly composed himself: "Then let's touch it again during the day tomorrow. If you expose it to the light for too long at night, it will get a little hot."

He put Can Can down again. Can Can wiggled her feet a couple of times, turned to look at her uncle, and made a request: "Uncle, can you toss me up like in the movies and then catch me?"

Just as Wen Shuqiao was about to stop him, she heard Shen Jiazhou respond with a strong "Okay".

Wen Shuqiao said, "It's very dangerous!"

Shen Jiazhou said, "Don't worry! Just toss it a couple of times."

After saying that, he tossed Can Can up into the air. Can Can gasped in surprise, and the next second her uncle caught her steadily.

Wen Shuqiao felt like she needed some nitroglycerin tablets. She said, "That's enough, that's enough. Stop throwing them."

How terrifying!

Shen Jiazhou glanced at Wen Shuqiao, and before she could reach out to pick up Cancan, he tossed Cancan up into the air again.

Can Can was just chuckling to himself, looking like he was on a pirate ship at an amusement park.

Wen Shuqiao warned, "Shen Jiazhou!"

"...Why are you using my full name now?" Shen Jiazhou didn't dare to leave anymore. He hugged Can Can tightly in his arms and asked, looking down, "Are you happy?"

With a broad smile, Can Can had completely forgotten his earlier tears, and he replied crisply, "Happy!"
