After Qu Lan finished speaking, she quietly turned to look at Wen Shuqiao. She slowly put down her water glass without showing any surprise on her face, as if she had already guessed it.

“Shu Qiao…” Qu Lan sighed.

Wen Shuqiao's gaze fell on Qu Lan. In the original owner's memories, Qu Lan was a very good mother, gentle and generous, and a safe haven for the original owner. The mother and daughter had always had a good relationship. Two-thirds of the original owner's spoiled nature was due to Qu Lan's indulgence.

Wen Shuqiao didn't speak, and Qu Lan continued, "But don't worry, you are the daughter of the Su family, and the Su family will definitely stand by your side. Even if you marry into the family, they won't dare to bully you."

Wen Shuqiao didn't interrupt Qu Lan, but she didn't speak either, just listened quietly.

She did know about this, and not only did she know, but her husband knew, and Qin's parents were even more aware of it.

“You must understand the interests involved in this marriage better than I do. Su Shuqiao is a daughter who was kicked out of the Su family, yet she is being dragged into a marriage alliance. Don’t you think this is absurd?” Wen Shuqiao said calmly. “In addition, at the last banquet, you told me that you just missed Su Shuqiao and wanted to see this little nephew. After reading the email about the investigation into Qin Sheng in Shen Jiazhou's office, Wen Shuqiao kept thinking about why the Su family was so eager and what their motives were.

She actually found some details in the original owner's memories that she hadn't paid attention to before.

The trigger for the original owner to sever ties with the Su family was that the original owner hurt and framed Su Sisi. Because of her status as a vicious aunt, she assumed that the original owner must have done it.

She didn't want any connection with the Su family. After transmigrating, she had to move and take care of Can Can, so she didn't fully explore the original owner's memories.

But when she carefully reviewed what had happened before, she realized that what the original owner had done was just to warn Su Sisi, or to deliberately act coquettishly with Qu Lan's father in front of Su Sisi.
