Chapter 159 Dominating the Points Ranking, Empty Box Goes Down the Water (2/2)

Xu Lulu forced everyone to open the boxes, and everyone ended up with a mask of pain. It was especially frustrating when they were unlucky and opened boxes containing things like nails or plastic.

What was supposed to be a joyful unboxing event turned into a double ordeal for both the body and mind.

However, enduring the torment did have its benefits. After everyone worked hard to open the boxes, Team 2333 finally climbed to first place, and their points were also far ahead of the competition.

"I'm not opening anymore, I'm exhausted! How come there are so many boxes!" Lin Xiaoxiao finally couldn't take it anymore and lay down on the ground to give up.

Making her keep opening boxes is more painful than fighting.

Sun Yiming's head ached as he looked at the pile of empty boxes. These boxes needed to be moved to another location immediately.

Lorraine, with her sharp eyes, quickly noticed Sun Yiming's pained expression and asked, "What's wrong? Do you need my help?"

Sun Yiming picked up the box in his hand and said with a look of utter despair, "There are too many boxes."

Lorraine did the math in her head; eight hours had passed since the event started. They had collected about 1200 chests so far, less than a third of the total chests distributed in the game, and certainly a bit exaggerated in terms of the number per person.

Lorraine pursed his lips, unsure how to answer, since he had contributed quite a bit to these boxes as well.

Then he heard Sun Yiming sigh helplessly and continue, "These empty boxes still need to be moved. If we leave them aside, it will take even more effort if they get mixed up."

Lorraine asked doubtfully, "Can you throw it down?"

Sun Yiming, who was holding the box, paused. He really hadn't thought of this method. "I'll give it a try."

Although Lorraine blurted out the suggestion, he only realized it was littering after hearing Sun Yiming's reply. He quickly tried to stop him, but Sun Yiming had already thrown the empty box away.

Immediately afterwards, everyone saw a treasure chest arc through the air in a parabolic trajectory. With a crash, it fell into the water.

Everyone instantly perked up and looked at Sun Yiming.

"Sun Yiming, what are you doing?"

Do you litter?!

Completely surprised by his success, Sun Yiming awkwardly replied, "I threw an empty box up."

Gu Xi said with a serious expression, "What if it hits someone!"

As she spoke, she walked towards the edge of the camp. Looking down, she could see an empty box with its lid upturned floating on the water.

Seeing that no one had been hit, she felt relieved. But before she could even breathe a sigh of relief, she saw someone furtively pick up the box, close it again, and put it back.

Gu Xi quickly called her companions over, and then signaled Sun Yiming to throw another box down.

Every half minute, the man would furtively pick up the box, close it again, and put it back into the nearby water.

Lin Xiaoxiao: "What is he doing?"

This person's behavior baffled her.

Gu Xi: "Isn't this an attempt to pass off a fake as real? But what good would it do him?"

Lorraine: "If you want to know, just throw a few more boxes down and you'll understand."

His words struck a chord with Sun Yiming; they had plenty of empty chests, nothing else. So Sun Yiming started dumping empty treasure chests into the water. (This chapter has been read. Please click to continue reading the next chapter!)
