While Ais and Octopus were inside the engine room, they didn't experience the same floods, wild beasts, and howling sea winds as the fish outside, but the turbulence was still pervasive.

Ais was fine; he stood steadily, unaffected, but the octopus suffered.

The octopus clung to Ais's leg, crying and refusing to let go.

It didn't stop crying until the protective shield opened, and only then did it belatedly realize that it had been clinging to the big fish's leg.

This action immediately startled it, causing it to reflexively scatter its tentacles.

The ship was already in motion, so Ais couldn't possibly stay here and watch. He dragged over the octopus's tentacles and placed them one by one in front of the panel.

"Purr~ I'm leaving the rest to you. Keep an eye on this place, don't slow down. If you run out of fuel, go to the warehouse and get some Abyss Crystal fragments to replenish it."

The octopus obediently placed its two tentacles in front of its head and chirped.

Although the journey was slightly bumpy, the Future made a smooth journey toward the abyss.

The ship's speed far exceeded Gu Xi's expectations, and it reached the edge of the abyss layer in just two days.

After 100 days at sea, Ais anchored the Future at the edge of the Abyss. The water here is about 6,000 meters deep.

Gu Xi stood in the third-floor garden, looking at the dark sea around her, her brows furrowed.

"This looks like a normal sea, so why is it called the Abyss Layer?"

Ais gazed into the distance, "Plop~ The reason why the abyss layer is dangerous is not because the seawater is deep enough, but because of the constantly changing environment."

"Didn't the sea change very quickly before? Is there something different here?"

Ais nodded seemingly casually, then called over Zero and had it condense a huge block of ice in the air before throwing it towards the distant ocean.

Not long after the ice block flew away, the surrounding seawater seemed to be ignited, and the temperature rose sharply. Soon after the ice block landed in the sea, it turned into a cloud of white water vapor and disappeared without a trace.

Lingling was so shocked she couldn't speak. Gu Xi also watched this scene in surprise, waiting for Ai Si to explain.

Ais pointed to the seawater and said, "Plop plop~ This is the first danger in the abyss layer, where the temperature may change suddenly."

After her initial surprise, Gu Xi relaxed and calmly said, "However, the base material of the Future has been replaced with a constant temperature material, so the seawater should not have a significant impact and will not damage the hull."

Ais's lips curled up slightly, revealing a barely perceptible smile: "Pululu! That's right, there's no need to worry about that."

"Anything else?" Gu Xi continued to ask.

After Gu Xi finished speaking, she saw Ai Si unleash her mental power and create a small vortex in the distance.

Flamescale took the lead, picking up where Ais left off.
