Everyone has transmigrated into an ocean survival game, starting with only a broken raft, and all resources depend on salvaging.
Fortunately, Luo Qing has maxed out her luck. On the first day...
Chapter 14 Little Elf Maiser
Luo Qing and the other three plummeted rapidly into the darkness. The wind howled in their ears, and their hearts pounded like war drums.
Just as they were about to touch the unknown ground, a soft force gently lifted them up. They felt as if they had fallen into a pile of cotton, instantly enveloped by a warm and moist atmosphere.
Luo Qing opened her eyes and saw that everything around her was hazy, as if she were in a sea of clouds.
Beneath them was not hard earth, but a thick layer of moss that emitted a faint glow. Dewdrops glistened on the moss, reflecting their astonished faces.
Not far away, there seemed to be a faint light flickering, as if guiding them to explore this unknown world.
"Where is this? Are we still on the island?" Fang Tai's voice echoed in the hazy light and shadow, carrying a hint of confusion and a slight unease.
Luo Qing pondered for a moment, then took out the small island stone that had led them to the island.
It had lost its former luster and quickly turned into a wisp of smoke, dissipating into the air with the wind.
Luo Qing took a deep breath, a resolute glint in her eyes, "We're no longer on the island."
Her words, like the morning bell and evening drum, echoed in the ears of the four, guiding them to face the unknown environment.
"Let's go." Luo Qing led the group toward the faint light.
Behind the receding figures of Luo Qing and the others, the dew on the moss quietly changed.
These dewdrops, which usually lie quietly on the moss, seem to have been given life, and begin to slowly wriggle, gradually transforming into tiny elves with pointed ears.
These little sprites lay lightly on the moss, their round eyes sparkling as if they could see through the misty world.
Their bodies are transparent and soft, as if they were formed from the purest water droplets, and each little sprite is as innocent as a blank sheet of paper.
They observed Luo Qing and his companions with curiosity, seemingly wanting to know everything about these outsiders.
As Luo Qing and his companions disappeared into the mist, the little elves seemed somewhat reluctant to part, yet filled with curiosity and longing for the new world. They whispered amongst themselves, dreaming of one day embarking on their own adventurous journey.
Luo Qing frowned and suddenly looked back.
"What's wrong, Sister Luo?" Fang Tai also glanced back. Everything seemed normal, except for the patch of moss still covered in dew.
Luo Qing shook her head. "It's nothing, I was just taking a look." However, she still felt uneasy, as if someone was watching her.
After Luo Qing turned around, the dewdrop transformed into a little elf and lay on the moss, staring at them.
"I wonder what it's like outside."
"I really want to go out and see! I heard there are such big flowers outside!" The little elf stretched out her arms and made a circle.
"I'd like to go see it too."
...
"I must go and see!"
A little elf suddenly cried out and flew towards Luo Qing.
“Come back, Mascher, you’ll die.”
"Humans will eat you!"
"Quickly go find the High Priest! Maser is about to be eaten!"
Maiser ignored him and rushed towards Luo Qing with his head covered.
The next second, he was grabbed by a slender, long hand.
Luo Qing held the bewildered little sprite in her hand, looking at the moss that shimmered with starlight with a half-smile.
"Oh no, she's found us!"
"Quick, hide! She'll eat us!"
"Ahhh, High Priest, come save me! I don't want to be eaten!"
The little elves screamed and turned into dew, hiding everywhere.
"Are you... are you going to eat me?" Maiser shrank back.
Luo Qing looked at the little elf in her hand with great interest. It had delicate features, pointed ears, and its body was as transparent as water. It even had a pair of small wings on its back.
She's so cute!
“Yeah, I could eat a whole little sprite like you one bite at a time,” Fang Tai chuckled as he leaned in.
“That’s right, it looks so cute, and it tastes delicious.” Mu Qimeng looked at the little elf in Luo Qing’s hand with great curiosity.
Seeing that their words were getting increasingly outrageous and frightening the little elf, Luo Qing patted the elf's wings and said, "Alright, stop scaring him."
She let go of the little elf and gently tossed it onto the moss. "Go back, little elf."
Having said that, he turned and left with the four of them, disappearing into the darkness.
"Maiser, are you alright?"
"Maiser, did she eat you?"
...The little elves came out again, chattering and asking questions all around Maiser.
"Maiser." As a slightly aged voice rang out, the elves quieted down and squeezed to both sides to make way.
The high priest appeared before Mather, following the path cleared by the elves.
He was a tall, kind-faced old man with pale green skin that seemed to blend into the surrounding moss. His eyes were deep and bright, as if they could see through all the secrets of the world.
A glint flashed in the high priest's eyes, as if he had already anticipated this outcome.
He reached out and gently stroked Maiser's head, his voice soft and deep: "Maiser, the outside world is full of unknowns and dangers. Are you really ready?"
Maiser looked up at the high priest, his eyes gleaming with determination.
He nodded, his voice soft but unusually firm: "Yes, High Priest. I want to see the outside world. I want to learn about those enormous flowers and those creatures that are said to fly in the sky. I want to learn more and bring hope to my people."
The high priest remained silent for a moment, a complex emotion flashing in his eyes.
He recalled the words that had appeared in the prophecy book yesterday, sighed deeply, and then slowly raised his head to look at the world shrouded in mist: "Perhaps this is destiny."
A ball of green light appeared in the high priest's hand and entered Maiser's forehead. "Maiser, remember, your people will always be here waiting for you. Wherever you go, this will always be your home."
"High Priest, I will definitely come back and lead everyone out." Maiser said earnestly, his eyes filled with determination and hope.
The high priest gently stroked his head with his withered hand. "I believe you can do it. Go, Maiser."
Maisser nodded, flapped his wings, and flew into the air.
He glanced back at his people one last time, wiped away the tears welling in his eyes, and resolutely flew forward.
Goodbye, Mather!
"Bye-bye, Maisel!"
"Be careful, or you might get eaten."
The high priest looked at the innocent and carefree elves, sighed softly, and slowly walked back with his hands behind his back.
He stared at the flower illustrations on his desk, hoping that Maiser would succeed; he hadn't seen those cloud-like, beautiful flowers in a long time.
Maiser flapped his wings with all his might, flying forward in the direction Luo Qing had just left, while muttering to himself.
“This human is different from what the high priest described. She is neither dark-skinned nor wearing a long robe, and her eyes are not as big as half her face. Moreover, she did not eat me just now and even took me home. She must be a good person.”
The next second, Maiser was grabbed by a long, slender, fair hand.
"Look what I've caught."
