Li Lin got out of the car and frowned when he saw the Longjian headquarters building was surrounded by striking workers.

He kept pounding on the window until his hands were swollen, but he seemed to feel no pain.

"Why? Why did this happen?" He questioned the heavens and the injustice of fate. He blamed himself and hated himself for not protecting his daughter and putting her in such a dangerous situation.

"I, Liu Haidong, have worked hard for half my life, but can't I even protect my own daughter?" His heart was filled with pain and anger, a complex emotion that was a mixture of powerlessness towards the current situation and deep guilt towards his daughter.

He turned around frantically and glared at the workers who were looking at him smugly, his eyes full of hatred and murderous intent.

"You are a bunch of crazy people. I, Liu Haidong, will not let you go even if I risk my life!"

His voice was like the roar of a wild beast, shaking the whole room.

Yao Qinghua and a group of workers looked at the nearly crazy and pitiful Liu Haidong, not only did they not feel the slightest bit of guilt, but instead had a look of smugness and mockery on their faces.

"Mr. Liu, please stop shouting! Your precious daughter won't be able to hear you no matter how loud you shout! How about this, I'll send two workers downstairs to escort Miss Liu up so that you and your daughter can be reunited?" When the workers heard Yao Qinghua teasing Liu Haidong, they couldn't help but laugh out loud.

Liu Haidong pointed at everyone angrily and said, "All of you get out of here! If my daughter gets hurt in the slightest, I'll kill all of you! Get out of here!"
