Gu Yunzhen's lips twitched. Did she think he hadn't seen her, with this self-deceptive act?

"Give it to me." He held out his hand.

Shangguan Wu frowned, guarding the photo album like a protective shell of food: "No, this was given to me by Mom."

Gu Yunzhen narrowed his deep eyes: "Madam, if you don't give it to me, I'll just take it by force."

As soon as he finished speaking, he grabbed her feet and pulled her over.

Shangguan Wu lowered her head, bit her lip, and said in a slightly choked voice as if she were about to cry, "Even if you take the photo album, it won't help. I've already seen the photos of you in a skirt, unless you erase my memory from five minutes ago."

Gu Yunzhen immediately became anxious, sat on the bed, hugged the person in her arms and coaxed, "Don't cry, I was just joking with you."

If he wanted to stop her, he would destroy the photo album before she and his mother went upstairs.

Shangguan Wu kept her head down and whimpered.

Before Shangguan Wu could stop it, there was a loud cracking sound.

Gu Yunzhen's eyebrows twitched slightly.

"Then we won't go out."

His deep eyes gazed at her intently.

Shangguan Wu's legs went weak under his intense gaze, but when her eyes fell on the finger marks on his face, all her romantic thoughts vanished.

"It's because you can't leave the house."

She pointed at him, then at herself: "I'm going back to my parents' house tomorrow. If you can't leave your fingerprint, I'll go back alone. You can stay at home."

How could Gu Yunzhen possibly let her go back to her parents' home alone?

His father-in-law is a doting father to his daughter. Who knows what he might say in front of her? What if she listens to her father and stays at home for a month?

Gu Yunzhen let her go.

Shangguan Wu put on her shoes and walked out of the room.

The photo album was left on the bed.

Gu Yunzhen saw it, flipped it open and looked at it. He saw himself as a child wearing little dresses of various colors such as red, white, yellow and purple, and making all sorts of funny gestures. For a moment, his temples throbbed.

This is what you call only a few photos?

Can his mother ever tell the truth?

Gu Yunzhen decided to have a good talk with Lao Gu tomorrow.

Shangguan Wu went downstairs, but there was no one in the living room.

She took the first-aid kit and went upstairs. She stood at the bedroom door without moving. She really didn't expect Gu Yunzhen to grab her hand and slap him.

But I can't fake crying to fool him anymore.

After a while, she pushed the door open and went in.

Gu Yunzhen wasn't in bed, but the sound of water coming from the bathroom told Shangguan Wu that he was taking a shower, so she put down her first-aid kit and sat on the bed to wait for him.

To Shangguan Wu's surprise, the photo album was still on the bed.

She flipped through the photos; they were still there, including pictures of him wearing a dress. Looking at them, she completely understood her mother-in-law's desire for a daughter, because she wanted one too!

From the photos, she could imagine little Gu Yunzhen, dressed in a dress, obediently letting her mother pose for pictures.

They are absolutely adorable!

Shangguan Wu's eyes were practically overflowing with stars; she thought Gu Yunzhen, who wore a dress when she was little, was the cutest human baby.

I want to raise one!!!

Shangguan Wu tilted her head back to avoid his hand, and retorted, "You can say I'm not serious, but you can't say I'm not professional!"

Gu Yunzhen nodded in agreement: "Mm."

Shangguan Wu: "..." That's it?
