Shangguan Wu blinked twice: "Yes~" She couldn't possibly have a daughter on her own.

Gu Yunzhen glanced at her with deep eyes: "Madam is suddenly so petite, I can't bring myself to kiss her, what should I do?"

Shangguan Wu's lips twitched, she reached out and grabbed his collar, shoved him onto the bed, and Gu Yunzhen fell down with the force of the fall, and she pounced on him.

Shangguan Wu's face turned bright red, and she suddenly turned her head: "Don't pretend to be innocent after getting the benefit!"

"I wouldn't dare." Gu Yunzhen's large hand touched hers, his thumb caressing the soft back of her hand, reluctant to let go.

She shifted her foot and kicked him, saying, "Get up and tell your older brother that I'll take Xiaobao to Grandma's house later."

Yesterday, Xiaobao clung to her older brother and didn't want to go with him, so we decided that she would take him to the Qin family today.

"Just say it on your phone, no need to get up." Gu Yunzhen stretched his hand out from under the covers, reached for his phone on the bedside table, opened WeChat, and sent a voice message to his older brother: "Brother, can you let Xiaobao play at home this morning?"

Shangguan Wu: "..."

Even if Gu Yunzhen couldn't manage, he couldn't leave her unable to get out of bed. He put down his phone and gently asked her, "Are you hungry?"

Gu Yunzhen smiled slightly, but didn't say anything. He simply picked up his phone and took a picture of her sleeping face.

Shangguan Wu's eyebrows twitched, but she didn't open her eyes.

After sleeping for almost another hour and a half, Shangguan Wu slowly opened her eyes, turned her head and saw Gu Yunzhen sitting on the edge of the bed, working on her computer. She casually asked, "What time is it?"

"Eleven o'clock."

Gu Yunzhen looked down at her.

Shangguan Wu asked again, "Did you go downstairs?"

Gu Yunzhen shook her head and said, "No. I only went to the study."

Okay. Shangguan Wu felt less tired and rubbed her cheeks.

After fully waking up, she slowly sat up. Gu Yunzhen had already gotten out of bed and walked around to the other side of the bed, extending her hands to Shangguan Wu.

Shangguan Wu said, "No need, I can walk."

But Gu Yunzhen still bent down, picked her up horizontally, and carried her to the bathroom.

Shangguan Wu looked at his tense, handsome face, her eyelids twitching slightly: "What's wrong with you?"

Gu Yunzhen narrowed his deep eyes: "Madam, do you want me to count how many times you rejected me today?"

Shangguan Wu didn't ask him the crucial question of "how many times".

"Honey, I'm so hungry!" She blinked, then suddenly touched her flat belly with her right hand: "Do you think I might be carrying a girl?"

Gu Yunzhen suddenly lowered her eyes, looking at her as if she were a fool.

Shangguan Wu didn't want to admit he'd made a fool of himself, so he cleared his throat: "Ahem, you're allowed to joke, but I'm not?"

Gu Yunzhen smiled triumphantly, lifted her to sit on the washbasin, and then squeezed toothpaste onto her.

After Shangguan Wu finished washing up, she heard Gu Yunzhen ask her, "Do you want me to apply some medicine?"

She was taken aback at first, then shook her head after realizing what she meant: "No need."

Carrying her back to bed, Gu Yunzhen took out a set of clothes from the walk-in closet.

Shangguan Wu was wearing his matching outfit, a cream-colored coat, which, like his black coat, had a simple style. He had a good eye for fashion, and it looked like they were wearing matching outfits.

Sure enough, once a man falls in love, certain aspects of his life become much clearer, as if his meridians have been opened up.

A bright smile spread across Shangguan Wu's face.

The young couple had just come downstairs when Gu Xiaobao ran over, looked up and asked, "Auntie, where's my sister? Didn't she come down with you?"

"What sister?"

Shangguan Wu was completely bewildered.

Gu Xiaobao frowned and said, "Grandma said that you and Uncle didn't come down for breakfast because you were going to have a little sister. Now that you've come down, where's the little sister?"

Shangguan Wu: "..."

She immediately looked up at Gu Yunzhen.

Gu Yunzhen's handsome face remained calm, but the words he uttered were anything but surprising.

He said, "Your sister saw that you were disobedient, so she didn't want to come down."

Gu Xiaobao's eyes widened: "..."

"Then I'll go upstairs and find her myself." He ran upstairs quickly.
