Qin Yichen hadn't seen Martha for two days since that night when Zhuang Qian escorted her back to the academy.

He called her, but no one answered.

She could tell him what she was thinking, but her sudden disappearance was something he couldn't accept.

Qin Yichen remembered that Zhuang Qian and Masha were going to Minghua Temple today, so he got up early and set off first.

On his way to Minghua Temple, he received a call from Mu Liangzhou.

He had just put on his Bluetooth headset when he heard Mu Liangzhou ask, "I heard that Gu Si went to Xizhou City yesterday?"

Qin Yichen said, "Yes, the three of us had a small get-together, and he went back to the capital that night."

Mu Liangzhou asked again, "I heard he also brought a photo album?"

Qin Yichen raised an eyebrow: "You've heard quite a lot about this. He brought a photo album, which is full of pictures of his little cousin and Tianyou."

On the other end of the phone, Mu Liangzhou only heard the words "little cousin" and said with a speechless tone, "He really loves to show off. He even brought a photo album for just one night? And he made a big fuss about it!"

Mu Liangzhou: "So you're not young anymore?"

"But I have a girlfriend!" Qin Yichen said cheerfully, but he was really uneasy. What if they met today and broke up? He would be a single dog.

The call ended after he finished singing.

It was obvious that Mu Liangzhou had killed him.

Qin Yichen didn't take it to heart. Anyway, they couldn't break up today, so he'd just let Mu Liangzhou stay single.

The car drove to the parking lot at the foot of Minghua Temple Mountain.

Minghua Temple, having weathered a century of storms, still stands atop the mountain.

From a distance, it appears majestic and magnificent.

Upon closer inspection, one sees towering giant trees all around, lush and verdant, blocking out the sun.

Qin Yichen did not take the steps, but instead walked along the forest path, and it took him about half an hour to reach the temple entrance.

He looked up and saw three characters carved on the plaque: Minghua Temple.

The ancient temple has eighteen tall windows with several lattice windows made of sandalwood, which look ancient and weathered.

The window frames are carved with patterns and bear the inscription: "A sacred Buddhist site, not to be desecrated."

The temple houses a statue of Buddha, and the air is filled with the smoke of incense and the fragrance of sandalwood. The temple is permeated with a strong sense of holiness, inspiring awe in all who behold it.

Qin Yichen walked around and felt his soul was cleansed.

He added some money for incense and then went to a pavilion to rest.

There were other tourists in the pavilion who came to worship Buddha. They either sat on the stone tables and chairs in the pavilion or stood on the railing of the pavilion to enjoy the view.

Qin Yichen casually found a place to sit down, sent a message to Zhuang Qian, and then admired the scenery in the distance.

Suddenly, his phone vibrated.

Qin Yichen thought it was Zhuang Qian's reply, but when he looked down, he saw it was a call from his older brother.

As soon as he answered the phone, his older brother's voice came through: "I heard that Gu Si went to Xizhou City to look for you?"

Qin Yichen's eyelids twitched, and he asked him in return, "You also heard that Gu Si brought a photo album?"

Qin Yiheng was quite surprised: "Is that really true?"

“Yeah,” Qin Yichen replied, then suddenly lowered his voice, “But what’s going on? Big brother, you’re being rejected too?”

Qin Yiheng on the other end of the phone lowered his eyes slightly: "What do you mean by 'dislike'?"

Qin Yichen said, "Just before, Mu Liangzhou called and asked me these two questions. He was asking me to confirm whether it was true because his mother disliked him for being single. I didn't expect you to ask me the same question, brother."

Qin Yiheng, a single man, calmly replied, "It's purely out of curiosity."

He knew Gu Si was a repressed pervert, but he didn't expect him to be that repressed.

Qin Yichen, unsuspecting, simply replied, "Oh."

Qin Yiheng asked again over the phone, "I heard you got a girlfriend?"

Speaking of this, Qin Yichen had something to say.

"Brother, my girlfriend is Martha, the same Martha who saved you and Gu Si at sea."

"It's her. She has good taste."

Immediately, Qin Yichen raised his chin, his voice brimming with pride: "Absolutely!"

The next second, he spat and said, "No, that's not what I meant."

Qin Yiheng remained silent, waiting for him to continue.

"Brother, you used the alias Lou Yi on the island, right? Gu Si is Wu Jiazhen, you two are really..."

They always want to show off when they're on a mission.

Qin Yichen didn't say the last sentence aloud, but instead got down to business: "When Sasha saw Gu Si, her face turned pale. She probably still has some lingering resentment. I want to wait until she lets go of the past before taking her back to the capital."
