Gu Yilou had just stepped out of the elevator when he saw him return, and his expression was slightly taken aback.

"Did you forget something?"

"Go upstairs to sleep."

Qin Yiheng glanced at him and stepped into the elevator first.

Gu Yilou looked surprised and turned to look at him, only to see him raise an eyebrow: "Aren't you coming in?"

Gu Yilou then stepped into the elevator and asked, "What happened?"

Qin Yiheng calmly asked, "If I said no, would you believe me?"

Gu Yilou stared directly at him without saying a word.

“I just saw Sophie.” Qin Yiheng frowned and said in a deep voice, “I asked her why she was here? She stammered and made up an excuse before driving away.”

"Sophie?" Gu Yilou frowned.

Although he didn't ask, Qin Yiheng still said, "It has nothing to do with me."

Gu Yilou was taken aback at first, then shook his head helplessly: "I don't think it has anything to do with you, you don't need to overthink it."

"Who's thinking nonsense?" Qin Yiheng denied it outright.

At that moment, the elevator doors opened.

As Qin Yiheng walked out, he changed the subject: "I'll stay here with you until I go back to China, okay?"

He's already at the door, why would he send him back?

Gu Yilou frowned slightly as he watched his retreating figure, asking as he walked, "When did you become so polite?"

A glint of light flashed in Qin Yiheng's eyes as he entered the apartment door code and replied, "It's just a token gesture, don't overthink it."

Gu Yilou's lips twitched; he really had said everything.

"I can't argue with you."

"I didn't expect you to find out now."

Qin Yiheng glanced back at him, went inside, changed his shoes, walked to the sofa area in the living room, sat down, took out his phone, and dialed a number.

"What's up?"

A deep male voice came from the other end of the phone.

"I'm sure it's that young man. I couldn't possibly be mistaken," came the man's confident voice from the other end of the phone.

"OK, I understand."

A cold smile appeared on Qin Yiheng's handsome face.

The person on the phone asked, "Do you need me to do it?"

"No need, I can do it myself."

After Qin Yiheng finished speaking, a cold glint flashed in his eyes, and he hung up the phone.

Seeing that his expression was not good, Gu Yilou couldn't help but speak up: "Aheng."

Qin Yiheng snapped out of her daze and looked up at him: "Hmm?"

Gu Yilou looked at him and asked, "Do you want to go back to China ahead of schedule?"

Qin Yiheng suddenly frowned.

He met his gaze, and after a moment, smiled faintly: "Are you concerned about me?"

Before Gu Yilou could answer, Qin Yiheng stood up, walked to the window, and looked out at the dazzling lights of the bustling city that illuminated the entire sky.

Unfortunately, this did nothing to lessen his frustration in the slightest.

Qin Yiheng raised his right hand and gently touched his forehead.

But some pain continues to spread.

Gu Yilou looked at him, feeling puzzled. He couldn't understand why Aheng, who was always so confident and calm, would look so dejected.

Qin Yiheng turned around, looked at Gu Yilou, and said calmly, "I'm doing this for your own good."

His words immediately warmed Gu Yilou's heart.

He slowly poured two glasses and handed one to Qin Yiheng.

Without hesitation, Gu Yilou answered him, "It's the wine you usually drink."
