The world treats me like a blade of grass, only you see me as verdant mountains!
Her lonely helplessness, only he felt pity for her; his confusion and hesitation, only she understood him. Eve...

Lin Tingfeng gazed at Ye Wenyu from a distance. The tall and imposing man, dressed in a white shirt and holding his black suit in his hand, looked as handsome as a model. Under the dazzling lights of the five-star hotel, he was like the most beautiful painting in the world.
Young Ye Wenyu was somewhat mesmerized. President Lin, he really looked like her Prince Charming.
Time passed, and perhaps Ye Wenyu didn't respond. Lin Tingfeng then took matters into his own hands, glanced at her, and looked away, as if he knew she would agree without asking, or perhaps he wasn't giving her a chance to refuse. So he nodded slightly, turned around, and strode out of the hotel, his back as straight as a plumb bob.
Ye Wenyu seemed to wake up from a dream and immediately reacted, chasing after him. Even if she wanted to reject him, she should have made it clear to him face to face. Besides, it was so late, and she guessed there would be no bus back to school. So, she would take a Didi (ride-hailing service), but that would cost a lot of money and wasn't safe. Uh, okay, she admitted that she actually hoped he would take her back to school.
Lost in thought, she hurried out of the hotel, looking around but not seeing Lin Tingfeng. Porsches, Ferraris, BMWs, Mercedes-Benzes, Bentleys, and other luxury cars, like men's polished leather shoes, came and went outside the hotel, their streamlined bodies gleaming like diamonds.
They stung her eyes, their extravagance underscored her poverty.
Unable to find Lin Tingfeng, she couldn't help but laugh, thinking that she had been deluding herself. Just now, when he asked her if she wanted to go back to school, it was probably just a polite farewell. He was the president of the prestigious Lin Group, busy with countless affairs, and his time was extremely precious. How could he possibly send a poor student like her back to school?
You've been reading too many romance novels; you're starting to have unrealistic dreams!
Poverty brought them together? No, only wealth brings people together. Why would the rich waste their time and energy on the poor?
Sigh, if she ever acts like this again, indulging in unrequited love, she'll definitely slap herself a few times.
Having figured this out, Ye Wenyu quickly walked to the nearby bus stop to wait for the bus. Sure enough, it was almost 11 o'clock, and there were no more buses running. She had no choice but to take out her phone to try and hail a ride via Didi (a ride-hailing app). However, the system showed that there were 20 passengers ahead of her! Ye Wenyu felt discouraged and anxious. She thought, "Oh no, oh no, when I get back to school, the dorm gates will definitely be closed. Sigh—"
Her heart was burning with anxiety, and she couldn't help but stomp her feet on the spot, desperately hoping that the number of 20 people waiting for a taxi would decrease rapidly in a short time. However, reality was cruel; the number of people waiting for a taxi did not decrease at all, and Ye Wenyu felt a wave of despair wash over her.
Just then, two car horns honked. She initially ignored them, her head bowed, staring dejectedly at the Didi Chuxing interface. Then, two more horns sounded, seemingly right in front of her. Ye Wenyu paused, looked up, and saw a white Bentley parked in front of her. The car was twice the length of a regular car, and the little angel on the hood gleamed like diamonds. She wondered why this luxury car was honking at her; she was standing at the bus stop, not blocking its way. Was it a private car picking up passengers at night? But she didn't have the money for a private car. Just as she was wondering, the car window slowly rolled down, revealing Lin Tingfeng's handsome face. He looked at her and said gently, "Get in."
It was his car! Wasn't his driver driving a black Rolls-Royce last time? Then I realized, he's a really rich person, he owns a lot of luxury cars.
Ye Wenyu stood there, frozen. She had thought he had left long ago, but unexpectedly, he really intended to take her back to school. It was like a ray of hope appearing out of despair. Unexpected, joyful, sweet, and nervous emotions swirled in her heart, making her face flush and her whole body feel hot.
She ran away from the hotel entrance just now. He probably couldn't find her when he drove out of the garage. Maybe he found her at the bus stop. It must have taken him a lot of time and effort.
Seeing Ye Wenzhu standing there like a pillar, like a doll in a daze, Lin Tingfeng had no choice but to remind him again, "Get in the car quickly, you can't park here." Sure enough, as if to prove the absolute correctness of his words, the car horns behind him blared in dissatisfaction.
Ye Wenyu finally came to her senses, steadied herself, and like a nimble rabbit, ran to her car in three steps, opened the back door, and got in.
Lin Tingfeng then drove the car away.
The car horns behind them fell silent, and the world became quiet. Luxury cars are great; the sealing is superb. No matter how noisy it is outside, the interior is a tranquil haven. The traffic flowed on. Ye Wenyu, sitting in the luxury car, had just breathed a sigh of relief when she immediately tensed up again. This was the car of the president of the Lin Group! He was personally driving her back to school!
She dared not look at him, afraid of revealing her feelings. Her face was as red as an apple, and she felt as if a rabbit was living in her chest. She dared not look at the interior of the car, worried that he would laugh at her for being ignorant. She dared not take out her phone to take pictures and post them on social media. Being poor was already pitiful enough; if she were to appear vulgar and vain, it would be terrible.
Left with no other choice, she turned her head to look at the night view of S City outside the car window. The night view was so beautiful. The neon lights twinkled all around, like stars in the sky. The streetlights shone with a crystal light, like pearls strung together into two necklaces, displayed on both sides of the road. Cars of all brands looked very clean and beautiful in the night. The night, like a dignified goddess, seemed to have quieted down.
