Although the sound was very faint, Chen Zhou could hear it clearly because he had enhanced all aspects of his physical abilities, including his hearing. So, while Yuan Ziyi couldn't hear the sound, Chen Zhou could.

After Yuan Ziyi finished speaking, she didn't notice what was happening ahead, while Chen Zhou did. In Yuan Ziyi's opinion, Chen Zhou didn't answer her, and she didn't know what was going on, so she was about to ask again.

And so, the two of them lay there quietly, neither of them speaking, waiting silently for the people on the other side to arrive.

This is a mountain range, but it's not a barren mountain range; it's a mountain range covered with grass. Chen Zhou could clearly hear their footsteps, making a rustling sound. "Let's take a closer look." A voice came again.

Chen Zhou initially thought they would leave immediately upon hearing the voices ahead, but if they continued to lie down and wait, the people changed their minds. The person speaking from behind seemed to be their leader, and his words sounded like an order, leaving no one daring to object.

No one dared to object, so they naturally did as he said.

"Waiting like this won't do." Chen Zhou thought to himself, and immediately made a small flame. He slowly flew close to the ground, making the small flame appear far away from him, and then immediately lit it. The small flame immediately caught fire.

This happened very quickly; it wasn't that it happened after a long time, but in an instant.

Those people were still walking towards Chen Zhou and his group.

These commotions undoubtedly caught their attention, and they immediately stopped and focused their gaze on the flames not far away!

Chen Zhou deliberately kept the flames far away from him, preventing them from shining on him. At this moment, the flames had attracted their attention, and they might not come to look at them anymore.

Those people were drawn to the flames and immediately changed direction, walking towards that area.

"That seemed to be the flame just now!" The person who had mentioned the light earlier saw it again and immediately recalled it, exclaiming.

"Let's go take a look!" the man who seemed to be the leader replied immediately, and then led the group toward that direction.

Chen Zhou watched the departing figures and smiled smugly.

These people certainly don't seem to be very intelligent.

I fooled myself after all.

Chen Zhou was still lying down, but he had already quietly poked his head out. At this point, no one was paying attention to their direction, so Chen Zhou indulged himself a little and let his head stick out even longer without any problem.

Those people were already turning their backs to them.
