Lu Zheng's voice rang out again, icy and chilling.

The thugs shuddered and collapsed to the ground.

Mrs. Sun and the others looked grim and were speechless.

Qiao Zhen secretly breathed a sigh of relief, her tense shoulders slumping wearily.

Only then did she truly feel the burning pain on her cheek, and the taste of blood in her mouth made her gag.

Lu Zheng turned around and looked at her, his gaze softening slightly.

Upon meeting her gaze, Qiao Zhen quickly shook her head, "I'm fine..."

She looked Lu Zheng up and down with disdain. He looked even more suspicious with the mask on; he might be a fugitive wanted by the police.

She wondered if Sun Junyi had been hurt, and her husband was so angry that he used all his connections to find Attorney Yan and severely punish the perpetrator.
