3 p.m.
Feng Yuxing was "enjoying" his mountain of reporting materials in the office when his new secretary arrived.
Accompanying her were Wu Yan, Secretary General of the Provincial Party Committee, and Zhong Ming, Director of the Office of the Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection.
"Hey! Comrade Wu Yan, here you are! Sit down, Lao Zhong, Xiao Li, sit down!"
Feng Yuxing pointed at the sofa, stood up from his office chair and sat on it.
Li Yunxiang did not sit down, but started to make tea, which made Feng Yuxing feel a little comforted. After all, Li Yunxiang could get into the role of secretary in an instant.
"Comrade Yuxing! Looking across the country, only one company dares to employ a female secretary. You can't help but become famous!"
Wu Yan teased the wind and the road.
"Comrade Wu Yan, there's no explicit rule that prohibits the Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission from using a female secretary, right?"
Feng Yuxing could only use his mouth to support his heart, which was almost broken by Li Changfeng's betrayal.
"Comrade Wu Yong, I finally understand what it means to be different! All the different things I encountered before were fake!"
Zhong Ming laughed out loud after he finished speaking.
"Now that things have come to this, let's not talk about this anymore. Xiao Li's affairs have been dealt with, right?"
Feng Yuxing didn't talk to these two people about his secretary.
"Everything has been arranged, including the dormitory!" Wu Yan said, as if his whole body relaxed. "Oh! Yours has been arranged too."
As he spoke, Wu Yan handed the key to the dormitory to Feng Yuxing.
"Li Yunxiang's employment procedures have also been completed! He has been appointed as the Deputy Director of the First Supervisory Office."
Zhong Ming, who was standing by, also reported on the completion of his task.
"Oh! The Organization Department is quite efficient!" Feng Yuxing said with a smile.
"Haha... When Comrade Rong Kuang meets someone as unique as you, Comrade Yu Xing, how can he not deal with things urgently?" Zhong Ming joked.
"Comrade Yuxing, I've read the resume of your secretary, Li Yunxiang. I have to say that she is really suitable to be your secretary.
But, she is a girl, so she might bring you some unnecessary negative public opinion!"
Wu Yan's words were true.
"It's okay. The work of our Discipline Inspection Commission is different from that of other departments. Our main task is to ensure the integrity of cadres!
Oh, by the way, could you two please help me distribute the information that Li Yun is my secretary to all the units."
Feng Yuxing said this with some reluctance, but there was nothing he could do as he was tricked by Political Commissar Li Changfeng.
After he finished speaking, he looked at Wu Yan and said, "Find me a qualified driver. As the Secretary General of the Provincial Party Committee, you know better than me what qualified means. I'm sorry to bother you with this!"
"Oh! You're not going to look for Political Commissar Changfeng?" Wu Yan teased.
"That guy isn't very reliable. If he finds me a female driver, my Discipline Inspection Commission will become a 'Flower Palace'."
Feng Yuxing was shaking like a rattle, which made Wu Yan and Zhong Ming laugh out loud.
After chatting for a while, Wu Yan and Zhong Ming came over and seemed to be just teasing Feng Yuxing. Suddenly, Wu Yan changed the subject.
"Comrade Yuxing, I heard that the secretary and the governor had a chat with you. How was it? Was it a pleasant one?"
Wu Yan is the secretary general of the provincial party committee. He should have heard about the unpleasant things Feng Yuxing had with Wang Jiangbo and Lin Shujie that day. Unexpectedly, he would come here to ask.
"Oh, it's not pleasant to not be able to reach an agreement!"
The wind and the jargon were spoken lightly without further explanation.
"It seems that the attitudes of our two top party and government leaders remain the same as before! Comrade Yuxing, your work is going to be quite difficult!"
Wu Yan said jokingly.
Although Feng and Xing spoke simply, they were both people of high level, and they both knew what the other was talking about.
"There's no rush. We've had cases piling up for over a year anyway. A little longer won't be a problem! Let's talk about it later!"
Feng Yuxing said indifferently.
But he murmured in his heart:
“This Wu Yan seems to be very concerned about the Discipline Inspection Commission’s affairs. It seems that his purpose is not to make fun of me for using a female secretary;
It seems like they're asking about what happened between me, the secretary, and the governor that day, or whether the Discipline Inspection Commission has any disciplinary investigations into the cadres who have been reported for over a year!"
People in this position always talk about sensitive matters briefly.
. . . . . .
After Wu Yan and Zhong Ming left, Feng Yuxing looked at Li Yunxiang who was tidying up the coffee table. A thought flashed through his mind and he made a decision.
"Yun Xiang, stop, I want to tell you something!"
Feng Yuxing said as he thought about it.
"Secretary, please give your instructions!"
Li Yun stopped what he was doing.
"When you get to a place, you don't have to act like you're in the military! Don't forget, I came from the military too."
Feng Yuxing said to Li Yunxiang with a smile,
"I have just taken over the position of Secretary of the Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection. As a new official, many leaders may not recognize me. This also allows us to have some peace and quiet for a period of time.
Therefore, during this period of time, you should read the reports on the cadres in my office.
Then, based on your level and wisdom, summarize your opinion on how to identify those false reports."
"Okay, Secretary!"
There was a lot of color in Li Yunxiang's eyes when she spoke. After all, on her first day at work, her leader entrusted her with an important task, not just serving tea and water.
"I've seen these. Take them to your secretary's office and have a look!" Feng Yuxing pointed at the file bag he had seen and placed on the floor. "Remember the principle of confidentiality!"
He asked his secretary Li Yunxiang, who was on his first day at work, to participate in this matter because he suddenly discovered a problem today;
