Xia Youyou followed Cao An. He had long legs and walked very fast, so she couldn't keep up. She could only hurry to catch up with him and grab hold of his clothes.

Cao An felt his clothes being pulled, looked back at her, and slowed down his pace.

She chuckled for a moment, then turned to look at the three men following behind her. These three, like him, were all tall and strong men. I think they should be able to lift the bed easily later!

"Where is it?" Cao An pressed her head and turned her around, preventing her from looking behind. "Lead the way, don't look around."

"No. 15 Wutong Road."

When they arrived, they saw the tattered bunk bed. Cao An looked at her, speechless. Is this the one hundred million you were talking about?

Xia Youyou said confidently, "Don't look at this shabby and insignificant thing, it just needs to be repaired."

"Go ahead and carry it to my house."

The four of them worked together, feeling a little tired. They looked at each other in surprise, not expecting it to be so heavy!

Li Zhao couldn't help, so he took down two pieces of the shelf from the bed. "It's so heavy!"

Xia Youyou also went up to move together.

"Don't move, we'll do it." Cao An stopped her. How could she move with such a small body?

The other three also agreed, "Sister, go ahead and lead the way, don't let anyone accidentally bump into us."

There was nothing she could do but lead them forward. Every time she passed an alley, she looked around to see if there was anyone around. She seemed even busier than them. Finally, when they were almost home, they saw a group of people gathered at the door. She hurried over, and Cao An and the others also put down their beds and rushed over.

Xia Youyou pushed through the crowd and saw her mother surrounded by a group of people, all talking and comforting her.

"Mom, what's going on?"

Cao An followed behind her. Seeing that he was wearing a police uniform, everyone made way for him and started to explain the situation.

"Old Zhao just came and said the paper boxes your mother made earlier weren't up to standard and he wants the money back. We just chased him away."

Liu Hui grabbed Xia Youyou's hand and said, "It's okay, it's okay. They helped me scold him and ran away!"

"Yes, we all know you're a great artist, there's no way you'd fail! He's obviously here to pick a fight!"

"Dabao, come with me." Cao An shouted and went straight to Lao Zhao's house.

Liu Hui quickly went over to hold him back, "Anzi, don't go! Anzi. Mom is fine! I didn't give him any money."

Cao An pulled her hand down. "Mom, don't worry about this. I'm just asking where the problems are and where the unqualified ones are. After all, we have to investigate, right?"

Xia Youyou came over and held her back, "Mom, let him go. Brother will know his limits!"

Cao An raised his eyebrows and looked at her, rubbed her head with his big hand, turned around and left with Dabao.

Liu Hui was still worried, afraid that he would punish someone impulsively. "Go follow your brother and don't let him get into trouble."

"Mom, no, my brother is a police officer."

This reminded Liu Hui, and she slowly put her mind at ease. Turning around, she introduced her to the neighbors who had just helped her, "I forgot to tell you, this is my cousin's child. Her family was too poor to raise her, so she came to me for help. This child is so pitiful, I just adopted her as my own daughter. Come, Youyou, say hello to the aunties."

Xia Youyou stepped forward generously, "Hello, aunties, my name is Xia Youyou, just call me Youyou from now on."

The women looked at the skinny child, whose face was sallow, and it was obvious that he had suffered a lot before. They all said good things, "You can tell from his facial features that he is beautiful. Ah Hui, take good care of him."

"Yes, I think her eyes are pretty too, big and smart."

There was nothing Xia Youyou could do. She was surrounded and stared at. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Li Zhao, who was watching the fun with his hands folded. An idea suddenly occurred to her, "Mom, I just bought a bed and asked my brother's colleague to help carry it back for me. Let's get ready and wait for my brother to come back and carry it in!"

The women looked over and saw three police officers watching nearby. They immediately made way for him and asked, "Do you want some help? Let's carry him in together?"

Liu Hui waved her hands sheepishly, "No, no, no, no. Those big guys carried it back here, so it must be very heavy. Don't tire you out. Come on, come in and have some tea first." She then said to Xia Youyou, "Girl, ask your brother's colleagues to come in and have some tea."

Xia Youyou obeyed the order and ran to call Li Zhao, "My mom asked you to come in for tea. It will probably take a while for my brother to come back. Let's go in and wait."

The three of them looked at each other and nodded in agreement. Li Zhao continued to carry the two shelves, and the other two also took the shelves and carried them. After testing the weight, they added another one. The two of them divided the shelves on the bed board and then went into the yard together.

Seeing them like this, Xia Youyou felt a little embarrassed. She wanted to ask them to stay for dinner, but she felt it was inappropriate. She had only just arrived and hadn't contributed much yet. There were quite a few good things in the space, but it was not convenient to take them out. She would talk to Cao An later.

"Please put it here first, and we'll see what to do when my brother comes." She pointed to an open space in the yard.

Just as they put it down, Cao An came back. She walked over quickly and pulled him aside. "Tell them to stay for dinner later. I have some vegetables here." She pointed to the backpack on the ground. "I'll put the vegetables in from here later."

Cao An was about to say something when laughter emanated from the main room. It was a few neighbors standing up to say goodbye. The two stood aside and watched them leave before Cao An joined the others in moving the bed into the yard.

After putting the bed in place, Cao An clapped his hands and said, "You guys stay for dinner and go back later. My sister bought some groceries."

Xia Youyou picked up the backpack and headed to the kitchen. She wanted to put the vegetables in the basket before her mother came in. Liu Hui was in the room making a small bed for her. They would need to put the bed in later, otherwise the three of them would not be able to do it.
