Opening as a reborn General Curtain-Rolling exiled to the Flowing Sand River, just when he was about to endure the Heavenly Punishment of ten thousand swords piercing his heart, he awakened a God-t...
Jiang Ziya went straight to the point.
Made the matter clear.
Shachen said, "All I know is that I broke the glass cup and was banished here. I don't know anything else."
Jiang Ziya shook his head.
He knew that Shachen must be pretending to be ignorant even though he knew the truth.
Knowing about the journey to the West to obtain Buddhist scriptures, he pretended not to know in order to escape reality.
Jiang Ziya said, "He Lord, no, I should call you General Curtain Roller. You've been in Heaven for so long, you should understand that breaking a glass cup is not enough to send you down to earth, where you have to suffer the pain of thousands of swords piercing your heart."
Sha Chen said, "Serving the emperor is like serving a tiger. Jiang Taigong, you are not the Jade Emperor. Why do you think the Jade Emperor would not do the same?"
After hearing this, Jiang Ziya didn't know how to say the words he had prepared.
He was originally a man of good eloquence, but he was always defeated by Shachen, which even Jiang Ziya found unbelievable.
Jiang Ziya said, "There are no outsiders here, why does the River Lord do this?"
Sha Chen said, "Grandpa, you really misunderstood me. Whether there are people here or not, I think so and say so. After all, I am a person who is consistent in my words and deeds."
Jiang Ziya felt very depressed and suffocated.
Shachen was so eloquent that he was a little overwhelmed.
He had used his eloquence to repel a million strong soldiers, and he had also made people spit blood, but he had never been speechless.
Shachen was mocking him, saying that he was two-faced and was in Cao's camp but his heart was with Han.
Jiang Ziya took a deep breath and said, "He Lord, I am also a man of my words and deeds. Well, since you don't know about the journey to the West, I will explain it to you clearly."
But Shachen said, "No need, I'm not interested. I'm here to be punished and suffer. When I've served my sentence, I'll be free."
Jiang Ziya said, "General Juanlian, what are you running away from? You know very well that you can't escape, because everything is already predetermined."
Shachen looked at him with sharp eyes and said, "Since it is already destined, why did you come here, Taigong?"
Jiang Ziya took another deep breath and said, "Because I have discovered that you are resisting fate. Although I believe you cannot resist destiny, in order to prevent you from making mistakes, I can only persuade you to return to the right path."
Shachen laughed and said, "Grandpa, you really like to meddle in other people's affairs. Who do you think you are? Do you think you can change other people's thoughts and decisions?!"
After saying this, he stared at Jiang Ziya, his eyes full of disdain and coldness.
Acting like this is completely disrespectful to Jiang Ziya.
Jiang Ziya, however, was fearless. His faith in Taoism was firm, and he would not be frightened at all by Shachen's words.
He looked at Shachen calmly and said, "Heaven's will cannot be violated. I am just one of the common people. I dare not go against Heaven's will, nor do I like to meddle in other people's affairs. I just like to follow Heaven's will."
Shachen asked, "What exactly is this destiny you think of? Is it really the so-called original trajectory?"
He said coldly: "What you think is just what others make you think."
Jiang Ziya's face changed drastically, and then he said in a deep voice: "Everything is already destined. It is determined by the way of heaven. The trajectory is the will of heaven and cannot be changed."
Shachen laughed heartily and said, "Do you have the ability to see the future? Is what you see truly the trajectory set by the so-called Heavenly Dao? What you know is truly Heaven's will, and not a trajectory set by someone more powerful than you, beyond your imagination?"
Jiang Ziya said, "I can be sure that what I can see is the will of heaven."
Shachen shook his head and said, "Hypocritical and ignorant."
Jiang Ziya's face changed drastically. No one had ever dared to say that to him.
No one dared to comment on him like that, but Shachen accused and humiliated him to his face, leaving him speechless.
Sha Chen sneered, "You're just a mere Daluo Jinxian, as insignificant as an ant. How can you see the future? How can you understand the so-called will of heaven? Do you really think that just because you have the Divine Whip, you can strike down all the gods?"
He stood up and tore off his clothes, revealing muscles as strong as a dragon clinging to him.
Then he said, "Use your divine whip to hit me. If you can knock me down, then I will believe in the trajectory you described."
"If your Divine Whip can't hurt me, then you must believe that what you saw was just a false future made to appear by someone much more powerful than you."
Jiang Ziya snorted, "Your body is strong and your magical power is boundless. Even though I have a divine whip, I can't hurt you."
Shachen said, "You don't even have the courage to hit me, nor the confidence to hurt me. Where do you get the courage and confidence to believe that what you see is the true future and the so-called will of heaven?"
Jiang Ziya, provoked by Shachen, stood up, stroking his beard and shaking his sleeves, saying, "Shachen, don't regret it. With your skin, my divine whip can strike down gods and rebels. You are a traitor, going against the will of heaven, and yet you are a god, so it's only right that you be beaten."
Sha Chen opened his arms, looked down at him, and sneered, "Come on, hit me with that broken whip in your hand. If you can't hurt me, you are the son of a stepmother. What you see is fake."
"You cannot represent the will of heaven. You cannot know the destiny of heaven at all. You are even less qualified to represent the way of heaven, nor can you do things on behalf of the way of heaven. You simply did what others asked you to do. It has been like this since you were a mortal."
Jiang Ziya's heart of Taoism was shaken.
He originally had an indestructible heart of Taoism, but was stunned by Shachen's scolding.
