Tathagata said: "All living beings are equal. Even ants are high and mighty in my humble opinion."

Then he continued, "What's more, I truly believe in General Juanlian. It's a shame for such a talented person like you to suffer in the Liusha River Cave. If you are willing, the gates of Lingshan will always be open to you."

Shachen immediately showed a look of vigilance and asked, "What does the Buddha mean by this?"

The Tathagata smiled and said, "General Juanlian, why don't you open the gate and let me in to discuss Buddhism in detail?"

Sha Chen said, "No need for that. My humble abode is too humble to accommodate the Buddha's radiant light."

Tathagata said again: "It doesn't matter. I can live in heaven or in a doghouse. All living beings are equal, regardless of status."

Sha Chen sneered in his heart. The more he kept saying certain words, the less he cared about certain things.

He added, "Buddha, please return to the Great Hall. This place is simply too small to accommodate your magnificent and glorious figure."

"And if the Buddha has nothing to do, please don't show up. I am timid and cannot withstand intimidation."

Tathagata continued, "General, you are joking. I am a Buddha, not a demon. I only save all living beings and will not kill innocent people. How can you threaten or frighten me?"

"On the contrary, General Juanlian is extremely talented and has a high level of cultivation, but he is extremely timid. This is all due to his inner demons. Why don't you follow me to Lingshan, participate in the Yulan Buddhist Festival, and listen to the Buddhist teachings? Perhaps this will improve your condition.
