Opening as a reborn General Curtain-Rolling exiled to the Flowing Sand River, just when he was about to endure the Heavenly Punishment of ten thousand swords piercing his heart, he awakened a God-t...
puff.
Maitreya Buddha was so angry that he almost vomited blood.
Shachen's respect was worse than disrespect. It was the greatest humiliation to him and made him extremely angry.
"Shachen, you are going too far. Please stop being so arrogant."
Maitreya Buddha roared, holding the Boundary-Breaking Hammer in one hand and a nine-ring staff in the other. The Buddha's light shone behind him and a golden lotus was born under his feet.
He shouted, "Since you are so arrogant today, don't blame me for being rude. I will subdue you and take you to Lingshan for punishment."
Shachen sneered and said, "Maitreya, this is a mustard seed space, there are no outsiders, and this is the land of the Flowing Sand River, the way of heaven is hazy, even a saint would not know what happened here, so don't pretend."
Maitreya Buddha snorted coldly and looked around.
It seemed to confirm whether what Shachen said was correct.
After a simple verification, he could be sure that what Shachen said was true. This place was really a mustard seed space, and the quicksand river was indeed a hazy space.
In this way, what happened here will not be easily spread.
Instead, he breathed a sigh of relief.
At the same time, he stopped pretending and his face became more calm and composed, with a playful look.
"Since this is a mustard seed space, and it is also shielded by the Heavenly Dao, you still dare to come out. You are really brave."
Maitreya Buddha said, "Originally, I was worried that if I captured you and everyone knew about it, I would have to divide you up among others, which would result in considerable losses."
"Now that no one in the world knows about this, I can keep all your secrets and wealth to myself."
Shachen shook his head and said, "As expected, even Buddha cannot avoid greed and obsession. You are the Laughing Buddha of Buddhism, yet you are so greedy. You can imagine how greedy others are."
Maitreya Buddha said: "The reason why I betrayed my master and joined Buddhism was to become stronger. Now everything I do is to become stronger. This is not greed, but sticking to my original intention."
"If joining Buddhism doesn't make me stronger, then I will leave. If defeating you makes me stronger, then you will have no choice but to give up your life."
As he spoke, his nine-ring staff was already pointing at Shachen, his eyes full of mockery.
"You have no way to go up to heaven or down to earth, so just surrender."
Sha Chen chuckled and said, "You're the Buddha, and you've met me before. Don't you know me well enough?"
Maitreya Buddha frowned, and indeed remembered Shachen's character, and then felt something was wrong.
Shachen was a cautious person, someone who would swallow his pride and never risk a fight. But now he dared to come out. Could it be that something had happened that he didn't know about?!
However.
Maitreya racked his brains but still couldn't figure out why the dust dared to come out.
He thought the most likely possibility was that Shachen's cave was occupied by some other powerful person, but he felt that it was unlikely.
Then he thought that maybe Shachen had the support of a saint, so he was fearless.
If so, it is very likely.
Maitreya Buddha said, "Do you think you can escape disaster just because a saint is backing you up?"
He said confidently, "Haha, you think too much. I know that both Sage Tongtian and Sage Laozi have been to your Flowing Sand River, but if you think they will help you, you are too arrogant."
Shachen's heart was slightly tense. He didn't expect that Maitreya Buddha actually knew that Tongtian Jiaozhu and Laozi had been here. It seemed that the Liusha River was not completely closed.
However, he secretly calculated and knew how to leak it.
It was the ancient Buddha Dipankara who came here in the past, and then learned that the Master Tongtian had been here, and it was Tianpeng who spread the news that the sage Laozi had been here.
Tianpeng also told everyone about the fact that Tongtian Sect Master passed on his skills to Tianpeng and him, which confirmed the guess of the ancient Buddha Ran Deng.
Shachen wanted to go back and light the sky lantern for Tianpeng right now. This guy is not good at anything and is the worst at making trouble.
Tianpeng, who was in the cave, also felt the malice from the sand and dust and trembled. If he didn't know how to leave, he would have run away.
Maitreya Buddha thought he had guessed correctly what Shachen relied on, and he smiled smugly, saying, "Saints cannot interfere in the affairs of those below them. They didn't interfere in the war between wizards and liches in the past, let alone this little matter between you and me."
actually.
What Maitreya Buddha said was not wrong. In the war between wizards and demons in the past, the twelve ancient wizards fought against many great emperors of the demon clan, and the battle was so fierce that the sky collapsed, the earth cracked, and the sea dried up and the rocks crumbled.
Even so, the saint did not take action.
In order not to interfere in the war between the wizards and the liches, the saint even went to the thirty-three heavens to open up the current Daluo Heaven.
They lived in Daluotian and continued to open up the world until the Lich War was about to end, at which time they took action.
But the purpose of taking action is not to stop the war, but to safeguard humanity and prevent it from being extinct in the war.
After all, saints also rely on humanity to become saints. Humanity is their foundation, and they will naturally not allow humanity to become extinct.
In fact, there is another saying that the saint felt a huge threat from the Twelve Ancestral Witches, Emperor Jun, Donghuang and others.
Liches have the means to suppress and kill saints who oppose them, so they must wipe out both the lich and witch races.
It would be best to let them kill each other.
That is why they opened up the Daluo Heaven and sat idly by during the war between the wizards and the liches.
Whatever the reason, the saints’ non-interference in other people’s affairs has been passed down from generation to generation, and no saint will easily break the precepts.
That is, during the Conferred Gods War, saints also participated in the war, and it was related to the saints' fortune, so saints would not shamelessly fight against those below saints.
