When they finished dressing, opened the door, and saw the crowd of people huddled together in the courtyard, they were all slightly taken aback. Then they hesitated and walked out of the door, standing outside, unsure of what to do next.

Li Ke was dressed as a patrolman, holding a gun, but he didn't point it at anyone, nor did he speak.

The twenty-seven women stood together, not daring to make the slightest sound. Li Ke waited quietly. After a while, a girl suddenly mustered her courage and stepped forward: "Excuse me, are you here to rescue us?"

Li Ke looked at her: "Why should I save you?"

The girl's eyes reddened, her courage seemed to vanish, and she lowered her head, not daring to speak again. A girl next to her pulled her aside and looked at Li Ke: "Then will you kill us? Are you in cahoots with them?"

Li Ke didn't answer her question, but instead asked, "Where are you from? How did you all get here?"

The women looked at each other and then began to state their origins one by one. Many of them were from nearby provinces and cities, while others were from nearby villages. They had not fled to escape the disaster and had been captured by these people.

One of the girls cried and said, "There were originally more than forty people in our village, but they all captured them. Now only she and I are left dead."

The girl pointed to a girl standing in the snow: "She was also captured and forced to accompany them. Can you let her go?"

Li Ke: "Then you take her back yourself."

Hearing Li Ke's cold words, the girl hesitated for a moment, but still resolutely walked out into the snow and led her fellow villager back. The two girls successfully returned to the crowd and couldn't help but hug each other and cry.

When the other women saw this, they also started to speak up, wanting to take their friends back with them. Li Ke also told them to come out and take the people back themselves.

After all this, the women felt that although the man's words were cold, he didn't seem like a bad person.

There was another woman in the crowd, her body covered in bruises and her face as white as a corpse from the cold, but it was still clear that she was the most beautiful woman there. However, no one claimed her. She glanced at the woman outside, and finally gritted her teeth and remained silent.

A woman came out, seemingly wanting to speak, but was pulled back by the other women.

After waiting a while, Li Ke took the initiative to speak: "And who are you? How come you're with them?"

Before the woman could answer, another woman in the crowd spoke up: "This woman came with these people. None of us know her, and she has never lived with us."

The woman who was being spoken to moved her lips slightly, as if she wanted to say something, but then she closed her mouth again, looking quite pitiful.

Li Ke didn't plan to ask her any more questions. If she wanted someone to save her, she had to save herself first. She didn't have that much time or patience for the other person, and what if she was one of those people?

Li Ke said to the women standing to the side, "Take revenge for your own grievances. If you want to rebel and seek revenge, come out here."

Several girls reacted the fastest, immediately stepping forward to respond to Li Ke: "We want to!" The others, who were a step slower, also quickly spoke up, their emotions running high.

Li Ke pointed to the people in the snow and the dormitory building next to them: "There are people who have bullied you here and there. If you want revenge, find your own weapons and fight back. I've tied these people up properly, you could say they're ready for you to fight. You can decide what to do with them, but if anyone doesn't respect my hard work, don't blame me for being impolite."

The woman who stood last in the snow looked up at Li Ke after hearing this: "I was forced too. My boyfriend and I fled together to return to China, but he ended up as a guard here. He sold me out, and I want revenge! I can die, but please let me join them before that."

The woman spoke fluent Mandarin, and Li Ke couldn't see anything wrong with her. She didn't refuse the woman's request: "Go ahead."

Li Ke's gaze remained fixed on this woman. The other women also sprang into action, grabbing whatever sticks and tools they could find and wielding them against those who had bullied them.

Her pistol was always on standby; if any woman dared to untie those people or remove their gags, she would immediately send her to her death.

Some of the more timid women huddled at the back. Although they mustered up the courage to swing a few times, their blows didn't seem to have much of a killing power. Li Ke was somewhat disappointed with their performance, but she didn't say anything.

The most beautiful woman, however, clearly targeted one of the guards. When she swung her club down, she did so without hesitation. After killing the guard, she turned her club on a foreigner in the snow, and blood and tears splattered together with each blow.

Perhaps it was too cold, she eventually fainted in the snow. Li Ke's hand was on the gun, and if no one claimed this woman, she would kill her.

A girl suddenly ran out and hugged the slender figure in the snow, helping her to Li Ke's side: "Although she came with those people, she didn't do anything to hurt us. In addition, she helped me and the other sisters. If it weren't for her taking my place, I might have been tortured to death."

Li Ke: "Are you sure you want to save her?"

The girl nodded firmly: "I will save her."

Li Ke waved for her to take the person away. She was in a hurry to finish dealing with things here and leave, and didn't have time to act as a judge here. The girl immediately called a companion to help her, and together they helped the unconscious woman back to her room to keep her warm.
