Chapter 166 Pig Squeak

After recording the sounds he needed, Li Ke casually scattered some hay and left the space.

Li Ke released a modified truck from her spatial dimension, connected it to an external speaker, and drove it towards the town. As she approached the town, she began to slowly play those humming and chirping sounds.

The patrolmen at the town entrance had spotted Li Ke's car. Li Ke also saw the men with guns and suddenly stopped. Then, the squealing of pigs coming from the loudspeaker suddenly intensified.

At this point, Li Ke was about 200 meters away from those people, and they had already called some more people to run over. Li Ke turned the car around and pretended to run away.

The closer the bandits got to the town, the clearer they became that what they were hearing were pigs squealing. This was incredibly exciting; it sounded like the cart was carrying quite a few live pigs. They hadn't seen any live pigs in over a year.

When the weather was cold before, they could eat some frozen meat that had been sitting for who knows how long. Now that the weather is getting warmer, in order to conserve resources, it's good enough for the brothers down below to be able to eat their fill. Anyway, they haven't eaten any meat for the past few months, let alone fresh live pork.

The men who chased after them shouted for Li Ke to stop while telling their brothers to hurry back and call for reinforcements, making sure the other party didn't get away with the truckload of pigs.

Ignoring the men behind her who had raised their guns and aimed at her car, Li Ke controlled her speed, weaving forward to avoid being caught or out of sight, while also occasionally letting out the pitiful squeals of a pig.

Only when he saw three or four cars carrying people chasing after him, and the people who had been running and robbing got into the cars, did Li Ke accelerate and drive forward, leading the cars behind him further away.

Gunshots rang out continuously on the road. One of Li Ke's car tires was hit. She gripped the steering wheel tightly, but kept the accelerator floored, driving recklessly forward at high speed.

Until a bend appeared ahead, Li Ke turned the steering wheel and drove along the mountainside for quite a while before the car finally stopped. Before the people behind could catch up, Li Ke stopped the car and started climbing up the mountain, occasionally letting out some pig noises to attract attention.

The road ahead had already been blocked by Li Ke with large stones and mounds of earth. Now she needed to wait for these vehicles to appear so she could quickly block the group's retreat.

Just as he reached the high point, the cars entered the bend. Li Ke stopped the recording and released the piles of rocks and soil from the space, which rolled down towards the road below, blocking the cars' retreat.

The car in front stopped, and the cars behind crashed into it. Suddenly, a landslide occurred behind them, and they all rushed forward, but they didn't expect that the road in front was also blocked. The cars couldn't get through.

As a result, the four cars collided one after another, and although they all appeared to be damaged, it was obviously not serious. The people inside the cars got out one after another. Li Ke counted, and there were a total of twenty-three people, which was a bit few.

One of the tall, somewhat obese men got out of the vehicle, looked around, and angrily shouted, "What's going on? Where's the truck carrying pigs? What kind of ridiculous information did you send? This must be some kind of ghost story!"
